Madeline was prompt and courteous. She is also a great photographer. I kept all the pictures she took of my dog. We communicated by leaving notes for each other, and she was very kind when tending to my pet. I would recommend her to anyone on the Rover app and I will also book her, in the future, the next time I’m out of town.

Kyndal is our favorite dog walker. She’s so loving to our pup and always leaves the most thorough review, I feel like I was there and get a little report card everyday. She loves our dog and watches her as if she were her own. Could not say enough good things about Kyndal.

About: I have had my own pup for 10 years, I love to walk him and give him lots of love! I would treat your pet no different than i would treat my very own furbaby. I don’t mind giving baths and taking walks. I make sure they are fed and have fresh water as well as lots of love and attention. I don’t have other pets besides dogs but I am willing to follow instructions and do what an owner asks of me to meet the needs of their pet whatever it may be to make it happy and keep it healthy and safe. My main goal would be to make sure the pet was happy and comfortable while their owner was away and i believe I can do that for you!

5 stars doesn't cut it! Ashlyn was great with our boys, who can be a handful, and was very accommodating to meet with me and introduce herself to them. She was very sweet, on time, and thorough taking care of the boys. She even checked in a couple days later to see how they were doing. SO thoughtful! We will be booking Ashlyn again in a couple weeks when we're out of town!

About: Hello! I would love to work with you in meeting your fur baby's needs! I do have a full time job, and get my official schedule one month in advance. Any day I've marked as full though is still flexible since my shifts end as soon as 3pm, so please still message me if I appear busy because I may be able to fit your needs. I have worked with two animal rescue agencies, with a combined four years of experience. I have been trained extensively in animal behavioral analysis, animal handling procedure, behavioral modification, and pet first aid. Along with my work time, I have two special needs dogs of my own and a lovely hamster! If you have any pet needs, I would love to welcome your furry friend into our pack and make your family feel safe and happy! Thank you for your time and I hope to hear from you soon! Erin Cassity I have a super flexible schedule and between my partner and myself our pups are only ever alone for about four hours at a time. So your pet will get lots of love, outside time, and play! Along with that I have two sweet little pups at home to keep your baby company, if they want a buddy! Typically I will take a few hours to slowly introduce your pup to mine. If they become buds then your baby will have free roam of the house and lots of trips to the yard, unless otherwise required. I have a three bedroom home with several baby gated areas if your pup needs their own personal space, and two of the rooms are equipt with food, water, toys and lounging areas if you prefer your pup to be separated. I will let your pup out into the yard for potty time every few hours and play whenever they want. If in your home than the same applies, along with maintaining any rules or requirements your prefer for your pup.

About: We are a new family of three and are preparing to add a wired hair fox terrier in the near future. We had a family dog when I was young but he sadly passed away due to old age. My husband and son love dogs and all animals. His previous pair of dogs was sadly stolen from him and he hasn’t been ready to get another pet. That recently changed when our son started showing extreme interest in dogs and other animals. We want to test the waters with dog boarding and walking to see before committing. For us, a pet is forever. I work from home and my work is flexible. I can accommodate changes in schedule. My office is in the galleria area and my house is in humble. I can do dog walks in the galleria area as well. I have a fenced backyard and empty rooms to house the dogs if they need to have their own space. We live in a very friendly neighborhood and parks nearby.

About: I've lived with pets all my life and have had the responsibility of taking care of them since I was 8. At first my responsibilities were to just find them and let them outside after they ate but as I started to grow up, I was expected to walk and bathe them. I have also personally trained three of my dogs for basic commands and loose leash walking. As someone who grew up with lots of pets, I am already in the routine of taking hour walks every day and that is something that stuck with me even when I moved to college. My classes are in the morning to middle of the day so I'm available for morning and night feeding with the availability of house sitting if needed. I've grown up with large dogs (ex. german shepard, doberman, rottweiler) so I'm not afraid of a big bark and know how to redirect a reactive dog.

About: Hi! I’m a reliable and loving pet caregiver with hands-on experience caring for dogs of all ages and cats as well. As a pet owner myself, I understand how important it is to know your animals are safe, happy, and well cared for while you’re away. I’m comfortable with different energy levels and personalities, from playful young pets to more relaxed companions. Whether your pet needs exercise, patience, or just some extra love, I treat every animal like they’re part of my own family. I also provide regular updates and photos, so you can feel confident and connected while you’re away. Pet care fits seamlessly into my daily and weekly routine since I already care for my own animals every day, including my dog and cats. I’m used to maintaining consistent feeding schedules, cleaning, playtime, and giving each pet the attention they need. Because of this, adding in additional pet care feels like a natural extension of what I already do. I structure my days to be flexible, allowing me to accommodate drop-ins, walks, and check-ins throughout the day. I’m reliable with timing and routines, and I make it a priority to ensure each pet feels comfortable, cared for, and not rushed. Whether it’s part of my morning, midday, or evening routine, I genuinely enjoy making time for animals and giving them the care and attention they deserve. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I take time to learn their routine and needs to keep things consistent and stress-free. In my home, I provide a clean, calm, and supervised environment with safe spaces for each pet. In your home, I follow all instructions closely to maintain your pet’s normal routine. I’m attentive to behavior, use safe handling practices, and provide updates so you always feel confident your pet is in good hands.

As of July 2026, there are 2,611 sitters on Rover offering Dog Walking across Eastgate. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.

Whether you want a solo or group walk depends on your dog's personality. Solo walks can be beneficial for dog parents with reactive dogs, puppies, or dogs who are anxious around unfamiliar animals. Many dog walkers on Rover offer private, one-on-one walking services.

Group walks are a good fit for social dogs who enjoy structured walks. If your dog prefers the energy of a group stroll, ask your dog walker about group walks in your Eastgate. Since all dog walkers are local, they may have a neighborhood dog who is a good walking companion to yours.

For dog walking services, you can request a report card update with specifics about your dog’s walk. Report cards require photos and can include a map of the walking route , total walk time, poop and pee breaks, and distance traveled, so you know exactly where your dog has been walking in Eastgate.

Got specific details you'd like the dog walker to include? Message them in the app before your dog’s walk begins.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

Every walker on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

Yes, you can find walkers who have experience with handling special pet needs in Eastgate. On Rover:

  • 95% of walkers can help with special care needs
  • 97% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 98% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
