“James is excellent!! Our sweet old pup has diabetes (on insulin) and is blind with dry eyes (has eye ointment) and James takes such good care of him every time we are away -- THANK YOU James!!”

“Kimberly is great! She came over and met our dogs ahead of time - they loved her. She followed all of our directions, was on time, and made sure our girls had a good time. We’ll definitely be using her again. :)”

“Sirrine is just wonderful! Our dog Charlie doesn’t do well with boarding so we feel so happy knowing that if we need to leave him overnight Sirrine will take the best care of him!”

“Tatiana is great! She has watched my dog, fish, and plants several times now, with the most recent being 10 days long, and has been awesome every time! Highly recommend.”

“Kyndal was truly wonderful with our dogs. She was available with short notice and took the best care of them all with ease !! It was only their second time with a sitter while we went on a quick trip, and we came home to them very happy and fulfilled. It was comforting to know she was on top of everything and having fun too. We will definitely be reaching out in the future !”

“TLDR: Giselle is amazing with both immediately friendly dogs and reactive dogs who need longer to warm up. Giselle was amazing with both of our girls! We have a labradoodle who is a true velcro dog and a terrier mix who is not a fan of strangers. We went through rover because we wanted our dogs to start getting used to new people. I was extremely nervous about leaving our terrier mix with someone new. She's not a biter but she does bark and charge at strangers who go near her. We scheduled a meet and greet a few days early with Giselle and she stayed until the terrier settled. During the actual drop ins, at first the terrier did not want to go to Giselle at all but Giselle was patient and sat with her to show her she was safe. By the second or third drop in, the terrier was not just okay with Giselle but genuinely excited to see her! We were so relieved that our dogs were comfortable while we were away.”

“Crystal took excellent care of our four cats. She provided us with pictures every day, and even told us when an unusual car was parked in our driveway. We will definitely use her again!”

“Jennifer was nothing short of absolutely A-MAZING!!! We could NOT be more happy we found her! We are SO excited to have found this service and even MORE excited to know Jennifer is someone we can rely on in the future! WOW! We WILL call on her again!!”

“Madyson was so great checking in on my pup while I was out of town on business and my husband was at work. She was prompt and always took photos and let me know how Finley did. I would definitely use her again and recommend her to anyone!”

“I reached out to Stacy very last minute and she was not only very pleasant but she made arrangements very quickly to help me out. Her communication is great and of course my doggo loved her. 10/10 recommend.”

“Kendyll was absolutely wonderful. She was very accommodating and took great care of Lilly during an extended work trip. She even brought in a large box of dog food that got delivered earlier than expected. I would absolutely recommend Kendyll and will definitely request her again!”

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Huffman. On Rover:

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
