âSirena took wonderful care of our cats while we were away on vacation. She was reliable, communicative, and kept us updated with thoughtful messages and plenty of photos, which gave us great peace of mind. She truly went above and beyond by even vacuuming the areas where litter had been tracked around the houseâsuch an unexpected and appreciated touch. It was clear she genuinely cared for both our pets and our home. We couldnât be happier with the experience and would absolutely recommend Sirena to anyone looking for a dependable and caring pet sitter!â

âKaitlyn was awesome. She was attentive to my babies pickiness and was great in providing updates during each visit. She was able to get the kitties to get over a little of their shyness with strangers.â

About: Iâve taken care of mine and my familyâs pets since I was 14 years old. Iâve had multiple pets myself. I have reptiles as well! I do work at a frozen daiquiri company as a manager. I rarely ever go in to the actual stores. I make sure they all have everything they need to run. I just need a little something on the side I do know how to somewhat train, I personally trained both of my dogs since they were puppies. If any accidents happen inside they will be promptly cleaned and sanitized.
âThank you Lesley B for taking such great care of my fur family I will be requesting you over again! You made me feel at ease with my choice to leave them with you and I can see they were all cared for!â

ââââââ Highly Recommend Vickie! Vickie has been wonderful with our two Golden Retrievers! Before her first official visit, she came over just to meet our girls, which immediately put both them and us at ease. By the time she left that day, the pups were already in love with her. Her warmth, professionalism, and genuine love for animals really shine through. We came home to two happy, relaxed girls and couldn't be more pleased. We've already planned to book her again â look no further for a dog sitter you can truly trust!â

âCatherine was great! She had a small issue with getting into my house and she was so communicative about it. She definitely made me feel at ease. I have a picky cat who doesnât enjoy playing or being pet my strangers, so I was so happy to see that he absolutely loved her! Iâll definitely be using her again and I 10/10 recommend.â

âNathan is such a nice guy! :) He came in and loved on our animals (4 cats and 1 dog) for 2 days and we really enjoyed his services. Each animal has a different feeding method and Nathan took care of them no problem. Our high strung dog took to Nathan immediately which was awesome to see when he came over to meet them. We will definitely be using Nathanâs services when weâre away next!â

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in New Caney. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
