About: We have experience caring for dogs, cats, reptiles, fish, birds, and hampsters. We have successfully house and crate trained every dog we have adopted into the family. I work remotely, so am home all day every day. My youngest teenage son homeschools, so he is home all day as well and loves animals. My oldest teenage son is in college, but still lives at home. He is home several afternoons each week and is also a huge animal lover. I have a fenced yard and one dog that lives in the home. Lucy loves to have company, is crate and house trained. We currently have no other pets, but would love to have visitors to love on and send home at the end of the day. Please note that we will not accept dogs that are not crate trained. Since we care for a few dogs at a time, we do require they all be kenneled if we leave the home. We are not away from the home often, or long when we are gone. However, in order to ensure the safety of all dogs while we are away, they must be kenneled when we leave. I do understand kennels can be traumatic for some dogs, especially those that have experienced trauma in their life. I am sympathetic to this and know that we would not be a good fit to care for those pups who are not/cannot be kenneled.
