“Sirrine has become our regular dog walker and we couldn’t be more pleased with her! Our pup always gets a little extra time and attention from her during her visits and even gets trips to the dog park! Each week he also gets a ‘pawgress’ report which is adorable. We’ll be using her for as long as we can 👍”

About: I have 5 years of pet care experience and I’m also a dog owner myself, so I understand how important it is to have someone you can trust with your pets. I’m patient, loving, dependable, and comfortable caring for dogs with different personalities. I can help with feeding, walks, playtime, potty breaks, and giving your pets plenty of attention while you’re away. I have a flexible schedule and plenty of time to care for your pets. I’m available for house sitting, walks, feeding, playtime, and potty breaks throughout the week, including weekends when needed. I will treat your pets and your home with care and respect. I follow all feeding and care instructions closely, keep doors and gates secure, and make sure your pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away.
About: I’ve grown up caring for dogs and have experience looking after my own pets as well as helping care for dogs belonging to family and friends. I’m comfortable with dogs of different ages, including puppies, and I also enjoy caring for cats. I love spending time with animals and making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while their owners are away. I’m available for pet care around my school schedule, with the most flexibility on weekdays. I’m especially available for morning and daytime walks and drop-in visits on days when I don’t have classes. I’m dependable and will make sure each pet gets the attention, exercise, and care they need during my visit Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I’ll follow your instructions carefully, keep pets supervised and secure, and make sure they have everything they need during my visit. I’m comfortable caring for both dogs and cats, including puppies, and I’ll take the time to learn each pet’s routine, personality, and needs. I’ll also keep your home clean and treat it with the same care and respect I would my own.
“Kat is a very loving caretaker of our dog and cat. She makes herself available whenever we need her. She’s great with communication and checking in with us while we’re traveling. She’s respectful of our home and pets’ needs. Book her! She’ll treat your pets as if they were her own!”

About: I’m excited to welcome and care for your pup in our family home! I provide a loving, comfortable environment where your dog can feel safe, relaxed, and right at home. Before becoming a mom, I was a dog mom to two very different pups—a tiny 5-lb terrier and an 80-lb Great Pyrenees/Collie mix—for a little over five years. Having cared for dogs on both ends of the size spectrum, I understand that every pup has their own personality, needs, and comfort level. I’d love the opportunity to give your pup plenty of love, attention, and care while they’re with me. I will be the sole caretaker for all Rover bookings, and any interactions between pets and my children will always be supervised by me. I’m currently a stay-at-home mom, which gives me a fairly flexible schedule throughout the week. I’m available for dog walks and can also work pet care into my daily routine when caring for a pup in my home. I enjoy getting outside for walks and am happy to follow each dog’s usual walking, feeding, potty, and care routine as closely as possible. Safety and comfort are always a priority. For walks, I’ll follow your instructions and your dog’s usual routine, keeping their temperament, energy level, and surroundings in mind. When caring for a dog in my home, I have a securely fenced backyard for outdoor time and a nearby shaded trail for walks. I have a 10-year-old and a 3-year-old in the home, so it’s important that dogs staying with me are comfortable around children. I will always supervise any interactions between my children and pets in my care. We don’t currently have a dog of our own, and I will be the sole caretaker responsible for all Rover bookings.

“Madeline was prompt and courteous. She is also a great photographer. I kept all the pictures she took of my dog. We communicated by leaving notes for each other, and she was very kind when tending to my pet. I would recommend her to anyone on the Rover app and I will also book her, in the future, the next time I’m out of town.”

“Our dog adores Sara! He is attached to her more than I've seen him respond to anyone. She's always prompt and communicative, friendly, and gracious. We have her booked every weekend indefinitely.”

About: Welcome to C&A Pet Care Duo 🐾 We’re a mother-daughter pet-sitting team with a genuine love for animals and a passion for providing them with the care, attention, and love they deserve. We currently have two cats of our own, but over the years, we’ve been fortunate to share our lives with four wonderful dogs, ranging from a 95-pound Great Dane/Lab mix to an 11-pound Chihuahua. We’re comfortable caring for dogs of all sizes and personalities. **Please note that, due to insurance regulations, we are unable to care for Pit Bulls or Pit Bull mixes. Our love for animals extends beyond our own pets. We recently TNR’d (Trap-Neuter-Return) several neighborhood cats, including one who was pregnant and gave birth to seven beautiful kittens. We lovingly raised the kittens and worked with a local rescue organization to help each one find a safe and loving forever home. We’ve also fostered cats and continue to care for several TNR’d community cats. Throughout the years, we’ve also had experience caring for horses, hamsters, birds, and fish. We understand that every pet is unique, and we take pride in following their individual routines and making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. We would love the opportunity to care for your fur family and give them the same love and attention we give our own. And what’s better than two loving pet sitters for the price of one?! ❤️🐾 **A quick note about visits:** Depending on availability, your scheduled visits may include one or both of us. If you prefer that only one of us provide care, simply let us know when you inquire, and we’ll do our best to accommodate your request. Being a team provides us with tons of flexibility. “Vickie was great! We had another dog walker cancel on us when we were out of town and she stepped up for us. She went out of her way to accommodate when Layla didn't want to walk during fireworks by trying again the next day. Outstanding!”

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
