I was a nervous wreck about the whole situation. But Lesly came through for me. I took my dog Sombrita over to meet her a couple days before I left; and then Lesly also came over to meet my cats before the trip. Sombrita was really scared and timid when I left. But Lesly and her family were gentle and sweet with her, and she warmed up quickly, and had fun while she was there. About: While I have not professionally taken care of animal, I have always had a dog (specifically pitbulls) in my household since I was a child. I've also house sat for reptiles (lizards and snakes), fish, and cats. ** I will be unavailable for services from August to December while I am on maternity leave** I work full time remotely, so my schedule is very flexible. I can stop in at any time to walk or let them out to use the bathroom, or I can bring my work laptops with me to work from your home if I am needed for extended periods of time. I am also part of the Texas National Guard so every month I will need to go to drills, so weekend availability will change each month. At my dad's house in New York, I always leash our dog when we go for our walks and make sure that we walk through a safe neighborhood or on a hiking trail that's near our house. When outside, I keep an eye on him and make sure that he does not get into anything he shouldn't. I also make sure that if other people are around that he feels comfortable and safe. With my own puppy at home, he has a leash that we use to walk around our complex (they require all dogs to be leashed), but he is naturally good without a leash as well.

I work a non-standard schedule, so there is someone in the house (myself or my partner) Saturday through Tuesday and pets are only solo between 11am-5pm Wednesday through Friday. I’m happy to provide everything you and your pet(s) need. My priority is making sure you have peace of mind while you’re away, knowing your babies are loved, safe, and cared for. I stay in close communication with owners for the duration of services. I love to send pictures, text updates, let you know when I arrive/leave, and I ALWAYS triple check locks/gates/etc.

About: growing up my family always had pets, I've watched family and friends dogs in my own home, I go to 2 peoples for quick visits, I was a kennel tech for about 3 years and love taking care of all sorts of pets. I've learned a lot from my previous job about medication, proper feeding, playtime and I've even learned how to properly bathe dogs and do nails along the way. my daily schedule as of right now is open, I enjoy spending time with dogs and cats all sizes. I am available Monday- Sunday anytime you need. I have a super friendly dog named Charlie and due to me not having a fenced in yard we normally just go on walks together on our quiet, peaceful street, he enjoys it as much as i do. If you don't have a very playful pup, I do have 2 boring cats who don't bother my dog or any of the other dogs I have watched.
