About: I got my first pet when I was 14, I had adopted him from a humane society when he was 3 years old! In the time I had him I had to learn what unconditional love was, what patience really means, and what responsibility is. He was an amazing dog and I learned so much from the time I was able to care for him. For four years I got to learn what taking care of a dog entailed and was always taking the opportunity to learn what I could always do better. I had to rehome my best bud in September of 2022, but I will forever hold that unconditional love and time I got to spend with him in my heart. I currently have 2 animals as of 2025! One is a handsome pitbull mix named Max and the other is my handsome cat named Ozzy. They are my pride and joy! I’ve learned so much since moving to Texas and adopting both from a Humane Shelter in Houston. I work full time at a hospital in the Woodlands area so 4/7 days of the week I am typically free! On days I do have blocked off on my schedule I can be available for a drop in or walk after 7pm! We found Mark and our pups are much happier to go on walks around the neighborhood. Mark is always on time and is very communicative regarding when he arrives as well as checking in on the next walk. About: I usually walk my neighbors and brothers dogs, check on the cats and have a dog of my own! I love spending time with animals!! I have a very open schedule and I wake up and take my dogs outside and fed them and check on them throughout the day I make sure there water and food bowls are always full and clean and then take them out to the bathroom for some Vitamin C

About: I trained my dog my self, and I have been dog sitting for friends since the end of 2020. I can go on long walks and always bring water and treats for the pups. While being part time in college and at work, I have found some time to walk, check in, and dog/house sit your little fur baby. My dog, Nina, is a little spoiled. She has multiple beds around the house, sleeps in my bed, toys and treats whenever she wants. When I dog sit for my friends, I follow their house rules. I always make sure to leave the house better then when I arrived. -

“Nicki is the ABSOLUTE BEST!! I ended up with an unplanned, high-energy foster pitbull puppy & I was at my wits end trying to figure out how to keep him entertained, release his energy, & get him some training while we searched for his forever home (in the middle of having 4 pets already, 2 kids, & planning my wedding!) Nicki is the only reason I was able to stay sane for the 2 months we had him. She was so available, very flexible, & communicated with me constantly. She did dog walking, sitting, & training for us at a great price when the daycare wouldn't take him because he was still getting shots & regular trainers wanted to charge hundreds of dollars for the same thing. She even took my dog for walks & doubled up for us! Nicki is great with dogs, she knows so much about their behavior & really helped us take care of him post-neuter surgery. My 70 lb dog usually barks at strangers, but Nicki walked in & the dogs immediately loved her I think because they can tell she's not afraid of big dogs from raising her cane corsos! She was able to handle both dogs who like to compete & pull on walks without any trouble. I will definitely keep using her as needed for my own girl! 10 stars!!”

About: My name is Maria and I live in a dog friendly apartment complex close to the University of Texas at San Antonio. My apartment is on the 3rd floor with a fully gated porch. My apartment has one bedroom and they can sleep with me if they prefer. Due to the size of my apartment I am only available to host small and medium sized dogs. I grew up with dogs and have had a beagle, Maltese, poodle, and retriever over my lifetime, all of which were family dogs. I currently do not have a dog, and prefer to only host one at a time (unless you have two, I'd be happy to host them together to avoid separation). I am currently a senior at UTSA and I'm studying Early Childhood Education and work within 5 minutes of my apartment. As I usually go home for lunches, I would be happy to give your dog a mid afternoon walk during that time in addition to an evening or morning walk- or all of the above!
