Availability
My entire schedule is based around the needs of my dogs and yours. I work for myself and modify my daily work as a special needs dog groomer to accommodate who is staying over. I also have a kind loving assistant who cares for our dogs when I need to be away. This allows us to be available for 24 hour care when necessary. Most of the time the animals are only alone for trips to school for pickup/drop off or quick errands around town. Please note there was a gap in care found by the dates of my reviews. This is because I sold my house in Northwest Houston and moved to Tomball to be closer to my daughters school and my parents.

Information Katherine C. would like to know about your pet
Most details can be provided during transition of care. The most helpful things to know before hand is if they have any trouble when their parents leave. We can make a plan to ease separation anxiety in attempt to make the transition of care less stressful.
A typical day
We love to spend time in the big backyard gardening or working on house projects. The dogs usually form a parade and follow me all around!

Experienced Special Needs Care
Pet care experience
Caring for pets through all stages of life is what I love. The past 20 years I have been involved in the lives of animals through working in pet services either full time or part time. I am especially fond of restoring a pet's faith in humans and help them to enjoy common dog tasks as positive experiences no matter what may have happened in the past. I am fortunate to develop connections with animals where others may have struggled; I meet them where they are both physically and figuratively. My handling skills are conditioned to care for the disabled pets, physically, emotionally, or mentally, without use of restraints. My home is located in Tomball close to many freeways. Fur babies are welcome to sleep with me and all needs are welcome. They will be met with love and kindness both by me and my permanent fur babies, Charlie and Joe.
Reviews

Kathrine did a great job of watching after our dog. Constantly sending pictures and videos. Definitely will use her services again

Katherine was absolutely amazing. This was our first time leaving our precious boy with anyone for a trip. So, this was our first time using Rover, also. After, much research, we felt Katherine would be a great fit. Thank God, we were right. She was super responsive from the very beginning. She kept us comfortable and reassured that our boy was doing well by sending several updates and pictures. We will definitely use Katherine for future trips! Highly recommend.

We enjoyed getting to see pics and videos and received updates every day about Rockie! We are so grateful the care Rockie was given while we were away. ☺️

Piper loved her stay at Katherine’s. She made new friends, played a ton, and got plenty of cuddles. My family so appreciated the daily Piper updates with photos. Thank you for the exceptional care and service.
