Stella is so happy when she stays with Susan!
We absolutely love Susan!! She is always on time to every one of her scheduled visits, sends all of the most important updates, and the fact that she always seems so happy to get to take care of our girls while we’re away is just the icing on the cake! Susan also gets the best pictures of our dogs and I appreciate every photo we get from her!!
Unsure of how my newly adopted senior YorkiePoo would handle being boarded; Susan and Dale were patient letting him warm up. Within 24 hours he was zooming around and by night three he was hopping in their bed. *Susan shared the sweetest pictures. Cannot say enough about the exceptional care King Archie received. Zoey was sweet to Archie giving him space to relax and feel safe.
Susan and Dale are absolutely amazing! They are such a wonderful and lovely couple who take exceptional care of our two goldens (New Year's Eve fireworks and all!). Our pups love going to their home and receive plenty of snuggles, pets, walks, and fetch sessions. We are always confident Susan and Dale are caring for our babies as their own - truly a blessing to have them and cannot recommend them enough!
Still so grateful we found Susan! Our pups seemed just as happy & content when we got home as they did when we left and Susan always provides the BEST pictures during her visits! Thank you again Susan :)
Susan and her husband Dale took exceptional care of our two young goldens who are high energy. They took them for long walks/to fetch each morning and allowed them to come in and outside for plenty of play throughout the day. Their home is very welcoming and inviting for both dogs and humans - they were unfazed by our pups jumping on their furniture and had plenty of comfortable places for our dogs to lounge and sleep. Susan was very responsive and sent beautiful photos. Most importantly, our dogs came home relaxed and happy - it was clear to us that Susan provided a stress-free, calm environment for them to thrive while we were away. We 100% recommend Susan and Dale to care for your pups!

Programa
I’m a retired teacher and am home most of the day. If I leave to run errands, Zoey has the run of the house, but I do have kennels if your pup is more comfortable being crated. My husband works from home 2-3 days a week, and he’s super playful and fun. *Please note: I do not board dogs over 60 pounds.

Your pup is welcome to spend most of the time inside, but I do have a safe, fenced yard with plenty of shade if that is his/her preference. Mine prefers in and out ALL DAY LONG 😄.

We go for morning and evening walks. Lots of good smells and a large open grassy area for off-leash time if dogs are obedient to return. In cooler weather we drive over to Burroughs Park (less than 2 miles) for running. We also nap inside a lot.
