“I can't say enough great things about Alexis! She was incredibly patient, kind, and communicative throughout the entire experience. She kept me updated regularly with messages and photos, which gave me so much peace of mind while I was away. It was clear that she genuinely cared about my pups and took the time to make sure they were comfortable and happy. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, compassionate, and attentive sitter. My pups loved her, and we will most definitely be booking with her again!”

“Absolutely amazing. She did everything I asked, and then some. All of my crazy crew of my little dachshunds absolutely loved her. Definitely will be rehiring her again.”

“Erin has been absolutely AMAZING for us and our sweet boxer puppy! We have needed a pet sitter for the first 2 months having our puppy and Erin has gone above and beyond with her. She takes her on walks, plays with her, socializes her with others, makes sure she has plenty of food and water and is just everything we could have asked for in a pet sitter, we HIGHLY recommend!!!”

“Taylor took great care of Birdie. I moved from TX to OKC and had to leave for work the following week. This was my first time using the Rover service. Birdie was very stressed out from the move, being in a new place, and without dog door access for the first time. Taylor came by and met Birdie before I left; Birdie liked her right away. Birdie did great with Taylor, drop in visits during the day. Communication with each visit really eased my mind. I highly recommend Taylor. She is fantastic!”

“Lindsey did a great job loving on our baby while we were gone. She even brought in our packages which we were super grateful for. We will 100% use her the next time we are out of town!”

“Norma was able to help us out in a pinch when we made last minute plans to be out all day on a holiday weekend. She responded very quickly. Gave our 2 dogs a potty break and stayed with them for a 1/2 hr so we had no problems when we returned home. Would definitely use again!”
“Geneva is a very patient pet sitter! I had a bit of trouble with my booking and she helped me through it and never made me feel bad about it. Would definitely recommend her and use her services again.”

“Emma was able to care for my two cats with twice daily drop in visits while I was gone. Very communicative and gave lots of photo updates. No issues were had and she was very sweet to bring in a package at the door for us. Will use Emma again for our next trip out! Thanks again!”

About: I am a reliable & experienced sitter that has had dogs and cats as pets all my life. I have over 30 years of pet sitting experience but I am new to Rover as a sitter. I used Rover for my dog that I had for almost 15 years. I have experienced with administering oral medication & taking care of elderly pets. I love them big & small, young & old, hyper or chill. I love to get outside for walks or runs. I am a homebody who works remotely & takes online courses as well so I’ll be around to give them all the attention. I know what it is like to have a pet with separation anxiety so no need to worry them or you while you are away :) I work part time so I have plenty of time to love on your pets. I like to give them as much attention as I can while you are gone I like to keep their routine consistent to make it easier on everyone. If you want them crated, brushed, walked & fed at certain times, or allowed on or not on furniture, I will be sure to do the same!

“This was our first time using the Rover app and she made the experience very easy. Sandra was fantastic at keeping us updated and we were very comfortable with her help. We will definitely keep her in mind anytime we need assistance with the dogs!”

About: I’ve been caring for pets since I was a child. I use to pet-sit for my parents friends dog/cat. My current pets are treated like my kids, and I have an array of cats and dogs. All of my cats adapted me, and become part of my family. I always talk to them, as if they were a human child. I’m a Huge animal Lover! I will break for a turtle crossing or rescue animal left on a highway. I’m a full time Graduate student, studying Clinical Social work. I am an advocate for animal and human rights. My schedule is flexible and I can be available in times of emergencies. I feed my fur babies in order, cats first then my dogs. The dogs are in order. This prevents quarrels amongst each other. They are conditioned to go to their designated feeding are. I watch all of them eat. Cat boxes are always cleaned before feeding time. The dogs go to their rooms (aka kennel) and wait to go outside, one or two at a time to poop/pee. They can take a good while, but they always let me know when they are ready to come back, inside my home. I make sure to immediately pick up their poop, it prevents the others from stepping on it. I try to water the grass that they poop in. I figure the water hose can act like an outdoor flushing toilette. I have a cat that will pee in my sink. I now have a hospital tub for her to pee in, instead of my sink. She’s k e of the many ways I accommodate and at the same time I prevent her from peeing in my sink. My cats will let me know if I missed a day of cleaning their cat box, they will protest and pop/pee in my dirty laundry basket, bed sheets, or anywhere the. Feel they can reach my attention that the cat box is way too full. Now, I make it a point to clean their box twice a day. There have been a couple of ER visits. If I see they are not themselves, and it’s serious, I will waist no time to take them to the nearest ER. If it’s not major, I keep an animal first aid kit that has bandages, Neosporin and witch hazel.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
