“Tiffany was very friendly, flexible, and excellent with her communication! She sent updates and pictures - which I love! She was very attentive to our dogs and so grateful to have her watch our pups!”

“Ashley is amazing! Our dog has had some behavior problems and requires quite a bit of patience. During our meet and greet, I absolutely dumped information on Ashley about his behaviors and how to handle him and she just took it all in, remembering things I said that I didn't even emphasize! Our dog was in love with her the moment he met her and I was so pleasantly surprised! On our first drop-in visit, he was so excited to see her and gave her kisses and wanted to be pet and cuddled! He has so much energy and Ashley never let it bother her a bit! She sent us lots of texts and pictures to let us know how it was going. When she got ready to leave, he happily went back into his kennel for her, which absolutely stunned me, as he has recently started having a lot of kennel regression! Our pup LOVES Ashley and we do, too! She is so sweet to him and can see that he is a really good dog, once you get past his initial crazies! It is such a relief to have someone so sweet who we can trust with our big dog! Happy dog = happy dog momma! Ashley will be top of our list to help us with long workdays where our dog needs a break!”

“Madeline takes such good care of Laci! She gives us detailed updates and plenty of photos so I know she is very well taken care of and happy when Madeline takes care of her”

“We ask Desiree for a day of drop-ins fairly last minute as our usual sitter was unavailable & she happily obliged. She was punctual & took great care of our Cooper. Would & will likely ask for her again when needed.”

About: What makes me different is the care and experience I bring to pups at every stage of life. I’ve helped care for newborn puppies and their mom, making sure the little ones were safe, loved, and thriving. I’m comfortable giving oral medications to both big and small dogs, and I have training in caring for seniors who need a little extra patience and attention. Whether it’s a wiggly puppy or a sweet older pup, I treat every dog like they’re part of my own family. Pet care is something I truly enjoy working into my week. Right now, I’m in pharmacy tech clinicals during the day, but my afternoons and weekends are completely open for caring for pets. That means I can give plenty of attention, walks, playtime, and snuggles after my classes, and I’m available all day on weekends for longer stays or extra love. In my home, dogs are treated like family. My own pups (three small dogs and one big dog) are free roam, and I keep the environment safe, cozy, and supervised so everyone feels comfortable. I make sure there’s plenty of playtime, cuddles, and rest, and I always pay attention to each dog’s personality and needs.

“Katie took good care of our cat while we were away on a trip. Even though our cat is very shy, Katie was able to interact and play with our cat. Katie always sent pictures and wrote detailed notes about how our cat was doing, which we appreciate. Our cat is healthy and very well thanks to Katie!”

“Adrianna did an excellent job caring for our cats while we were away. She was always on time, very responsive, and incredibly kind. She made sure our cat received his medications on schedule and included photos during each visit, which gave us great peace of mind. When we arrived home, the house was clean and well cared for. Our cats tend to vomit frequently, and I didn’t find a single mess, so it was clear that Adriana did a wonderful job cleaning up after them. Overall, we had a great experience and would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring pet sitter.”

“Kathryn is so amazing. She has been watching KASH for many years now and it’s been a pleasure. She make sure he has food and water, and even cleans up after him, she sends me a picture daily with updates which helps me to be at ease while away. Will always book with her ❤️”

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Friendswood
Tiffany did an amazing job looking over my cats while I was out of town. I would definitely recommend her. She was on time, interacted with the cats, cleaned up when they made an accident even though I told her she didn’t need to and I’d get to it. She is fantastic.

Jackie did an amazing job caring for our cats, Artemis and Aphrodite, over New Year’s weekend. She was attentive, communicative, and clearly cared about them. The detailed Rover cards were great, she brought in packages for us, and she even emptied the litter on her last night—such a thoughtful touch. Aphrodite warmed up to her immediately, and we really appreciated her flexibility with short notice. We’ll definitely be booking her again and recommending her to others!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
