“This is the second time we have used Tiffany for a long weekend, three visits a day. She is always prompt, dogs are happy in the photos and she is very responsive. Will book her again!”

“Meghan was great! She came in clutch last minute when my normal sitter was out of town and responded within minutes of my request. She followed all of my instructions perfectly, sent great updates with plenty of pictures and notes, and took wonderful care of my babies. I’ll definitely use her services again in the future if my normal sitter is unavailable ❤️”

“We’ve had LeChelle watch our pet twice now during our trips and she is wonderful! She always sends so many photos and really pays attention to the needs of the animal. I feel comfortable leaving our Astro in her care!”

“Norma was wonderful. I needed a drop in visit with short notice and Norma was willing to meet the day before the scheduled appointment to get familiar with my puppy. She left a detailed report of her visit and treated my puppy with love and care.”

“We used Rover for the first time and we were definitely skeptical at first. However, we got very lucky with Molly. She always kept us informed about everything and was asking questions so she could make sure she was doing everything as well as possible. It was very clear she truly cared about our cats and was willing to do whatever was needed. We would definitely choose her in the future and recommend her to others. (she also took great pictures)”

About: I've casually babysat dogs and cats for family and friends for over 30 years. We joined Rover in 2016. Met some lifelong friends and pets throughout this process. We offer our services to the Friendswood community and surrounding areas. We're Texas raised girls with a good southern hospitality attitude and big hearts for all animals. I work from home and my daughter is home with me during the day to help care for Millie and friends. My work is very flexible. I usually work Sun - Thur from 7am - 3:30pm. We have a reliable fenced in yard to protect pets from getting out. If needed, we can easily crate your pet inside. Please note: we do have a swimming pool but are with pets at all time while playing out back. We provide plenty of walks in our pet friendly - gated neighborhood.

“Desiree did an outstanding job taking care of my (3) babies. She made me feel very comfortable knowing that they were being taken out to use the bathroom and played with my Apollo till he got tired and wanted to go inside. She was very punctual arriving the (3) times a day to make sure that they were feed, use the bathroom and played with. She took pictures of them as well. I highly recommend her if you travel and need someone to stop by and care for your babies. I will be using her in the future.”

“Really appreciate her attention to the details. She was in contact with us by text each time she went. She also sent pictures every day. We were able to get very comfortable with her during this time. It was such a great time to be able to know that our fur babies were very well taken care of.”

About: What makes me different is the care and experience I bring to pups at every stage of life. I’ve helped care for newborn puppies and their mom, making sure the little ones were safe, loved, and thriving. I’m comfortable giving oral medications to both big and small dogs, and I have training in caring for seniors who need a little extra patience and attention. Whether it’s a wiggly puppy or a sweet older pup, I treat every dog like they’re part of my own family. Pet care is something I truly enjoy working into my week. Right now, I’m in pharmacy tech clinicals during the day, but my afternoons and weekends are completely open for caring for pets. That means I can give plenty of attention, walks, playtime, and snuggles after my classes, and I’m available all day on weekends for longer stays or extra love. In my home, dogs are treated like family. My own pups (three small dogs and one big dog) are free roam, and I keep the environment safe, cozy, and supervised so everyone feels comfortable. I make sure there’s plenty of playtime, cuddles, and rest, and I always pay attention to each dog’s personality and needs.
“I can't say enough wonderful things about Ashley! She has done so well with Cooper. He can be quite a challenging dog, but he loves when she visits him and he behaves better for her than he does for us! She is so knowledgeable and experienced with dogs and we call her The Cooper Whisperer! She is excellent with communication, also, providing real time pictures, as well as status updates!”

“Adrianna did an excellent job caring for our cats while we were away. She was always on time, very responsive, and incredibly kind. She made sure our cat received his medications on schedule and included photos during each visit, which gave us great peace of mind. When we arrived home, the house was clean and well cared for. Our cats tend to vomit frequently, and I didn’t find a single mess, so it was clear that Adriana did a wonderful job cleaning up after them. Overall, we had a great experience and would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring pet sitter.”

“Katie took good care of our cat while we were away on a trip. Even though our cat is very shy, Katie was able to interact and play with our cat. Katie always sent pictures and wrote detailed notes about how our cat was doing, which we appreciate. Our cat is healthy and very well thanks to Katie!”

“Kind and loving care is what I wanted for my fur babies and Madeline delivered in abundance! I will not hesitate to seek services from Madeline in the future. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️”

“Adriana is always so thoughtful! Made sure to ask how my pups were with fireworks and gave them calming treats to help with their walks. Thankful for her help while we took a weekend trip out of town. We appreciate you taking good care of our pups!”

About: Hi! I’m a lifelong animal lover who has grown up around all kinds of animals, from dogs and cats to small pets, and everything in between. Being surrounded by animals in my childhood forever bonded me to the creatures that others can dismiss as just "pets", and has given me a deep understanding of their needs, personalities, and the special care they deserve. I have over 15 years of experience training and caring for dogs of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments. Whether it’s basic obedience, walk training, reinforcing good behavior, or simply providing a safe and loving environment, I’m patient, consistent, and attentive to each dog’s unique personality. I truly love all animals and treat every pet as if they were my own. My goal is to make sure your furry family member feels comfortable, happy, and well cared for while you’re away. You can count on me for dependable care, lots of affection, and a calm, positive approach. I can’t wait to meet you and your pet! 🐾 I have a very flexible schedule. I am able to consistently be available pretty much any time during the day or night. I work from home, so your pet would always have me around if at my home, or me at theirs. I have a fenced in property, and your pet would have a whole section of yard to themselves. My home is very pet friendly with many access points to the yard, for any bathroom needs. I strongly believe that pets are family, and I love having their company in whatever room I am in. At your home, I would follow whatever rules and boundaries you have already established. I know that when it comes to our furry friends, consistency is key, so I would take my cues from you. If they're not allowed on the bed, I won't let them on the bed. If they have to watch Real Housewives of Beverly Hills at precisely 9:07 every night in order to sleep, then I'll make popcorn (For me only of course). Most importantly, I treat every pet like I would my own. Whether it’s playtime, quiet companionship, or one-on-one attention, your pet will get plenty of care, affection, and tail-wagging fun while you’re away. 🐾
“Amazing care for my furry babies. Updates, photos, and genuine kindness gave me a piece of mind while I was away. I highly recommend Heather to anyone who truly loves their pets - your kitties will be in excellent hands!”

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Friendswood
Jackie did an amazing job caring for our cats, Artemis and Aphrodite, over New Year’s weekend. She was attentive, communicative, and clearly cared about them. The detailed Rover cards were great, she brought in packages for us, and she even emptied the litter on her last night—such a thoughtful touch. Aphrodite warmed up to her immediately, and we really appreciated her flexibility with short notice. We’ll definitely be booking her again and recommending her to others!

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Friendswood. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
