About: Hi! I’ve had dogs of all sizes since I was a tiny tot. I have experience with crate training, potty training, and overall skills training. I’m currently in grad school, but the semester is coming to an end, so I’ll have plenty of time over the summer to care for your pup. I keep treats on deck and will make sure that your pup feels safe with me. Building trust is my number one priority and I want to make sure that not only you, but your beloved pup can trust me as well.
“Amazing care for my furry babies. Updates, photos, and genuine kindness gave me a piece of mind while I was away. I highly recommend Heather to anyone who truly loves their pets - your kitties will be in excellent hands!”

About: I am a horse girl (that should tell a lot! lol) I have had every animal under the sun. I am well versed in many dog breeds with all ages. My family raises and breeds Maine coon cats. I have birds as well! I’ve had cockatoos, turtles, flying squirrels, fish, possums, rats, hamsters and many more. Currently I am completely open. I will start online classes in July. Late August I will start going back to school at Texas A&M Galveston 5 days a week. Since I have birds and a large stud cat, responsibility is key. I have a large back yard, a Catio and 4 difffedent bird cages. My animals are love there food routines and walk routines.
About: I’ve had pets my entire life, from chickens to cats to dogs, with dogs being my specialty. Once a pet is in my care, they’re treated like family and loved as if they were my own. I believe in feeding quality food, providing plenty of walks, and making sure every pet stays happy, healthy, and comfortable. I currently have two large Border Collies and a small Norwich Terrier, each with their own unique personalities, so I’m very comfortable handling different sizes, energy levels, and attitudes. Your pet won’t just be watched—they’ll be genuinely cared for, loved, and included. My schedule is very flexible, as I’m a stay-at-home mom and also help care for my aging veteran father. I’m available throughout the day and happy to accommodate your pet’s specific needs. Feel free to text me with details about your pet, and let’s connect to see how I can help. I tailor walks and meals to each pet’s vibe, breed, size, energy, and attitude included. Walks are just the right length, and mealtime is always supervised with bowls spaced out (no food thieves on my watch). Lots of love, happy tails, and safe care always.
About: Hello! I love dogs and all things plants! I’ve cared for dogs most of my life, growing up with at least two in my home and spending my summers in high school pet and house sitting. I’ve worked with dogs of different sizes, ages, and temperaments, from high energy pets to older dogs needing extra patience and care. I also have experience caring for fish, lizards and other small animals. I’m organized, communicative, and able to handle unexpected situations calmly, so owners can feel confident their pets are in good hands! I work part-time and am preparing for grad school. This allows me to have more flexibility in my schedule to meet the needs of both pets and their owners. I care for pets by following their normal routine as closely as possible to keep them comfortable and stress free! In a client’s home, I make sure feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and any specific instructions are followed carefully. I also keep the home clean, secure, and provide regular updates so owners feel at ease.
“Diana has been very helpful taking care of my dogs while I am at work for long hours. She is responsive and always shows up on time. I would highly recommend her to anyone who need help!”
About: I can also care for bunnies, guinea pigs, bearded dragons, and small snakes (I do not feed live rats to the snake, not experienced there) I'm currently working full time, from morning to early evening. I can check-in on pets early morning and after work, and I can stay the night if you’re comfortable. I will always communicate if my day runs longer. I can bathe pets, feed, walk, take out and care for when needed. I can stay the night. Just give me instructions on what needs to be done and it will be done!
About: Your fur babies will be given the best love and care💞 I’ve done tons of dog walks, changed uncountable amounts of litter boxes, and played with many dogs and cats. Flexible schedule! Currently a full-time student and have plenty of time after classes to take care of your fur babies. I have availability Monday-Thursdays after 2pm, and all day Friday/Saturday. Your pets care and safety are very important to me. Instructions will be followed carefully and plenty of updates and pictures will be given for sitting/walks!
“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I can't recommend Jackie enough for her exceptional dog sitting services! She took care of my dogs as if they were her own, showering them with love, attention, and care during my time away. From daily walks to playtime, Jackie ensured they were happy and well-exercised. Her communication was fantastic; she provided regular updates and photos, which put my mind at ease. It's clear that she has a genuine passion for animals, and my dogs absolutely adored her! If you're looking for someone trustworthy and nurturing to care for your furry friends, Jackie is the one! Thank you, Jackie, for making my dogs feel so loved while I was away!”

“Mikaila checked on Pete everyday, played with him, and always sent cute photos and videos with a little summary of their meet. Happy to know Pete has a new friend when I go out of town:)”

“Kierstan was consistent and patient with my shy cat! She checked in every day, sent pictures to help me connect with the cat even while I was gone, and did the sweep I asked to check for any signs of unwellness or any issues that might not have been obvious otherwise. Thank you Kierstan!!!”

About: I think what sets me apart is how much I genuinely care. I had my own dog for 9 years and he was like my child, so I know how hard it is to trust someone else with your pet. I treat every animal like they’re my own and make sure they feel safe and comfortable. I’m really patient, which helps with puppies still learning or older dogs that need a little extra care and a slower pace. I pay attention to their behavior and stick closely to whatever routine is required, and I’ll keep you updated so you don’t have to worry. I’m a nursing student and my schedule is pretty light this semester, so I have a good amount of free time. Taking care of pets fits in really easily with my routine and honestly gives me a nice break from studying. I enjoy it and it helps me stay active, so it works out really well for me. I had my dog for about 9 years and I treated him like my child. I treat every pet like I treated him, with a lot of love and attention. I keep up with their normal routine, make sure they’re fed, exercised, and comfortable, and give them lots of affection. I also fully respect your home and will keep you updated. I care for pets the same way I’d want someone to care for mine.
“Mallory was wonderful!!! She was so communicative about how our fur baby did, sent photos, and was going above and beyond to make sure our dog was at comfortable and safe as possible. Will absolutely trust her again with our pets!!”

“Alyssa was responsive and communicative. I am a first time rover user and she took the time to meet my dogs and I beforehand for a meet and greet which really meant a lot to me. Thank you!”

“Tatiana took good care of my senior cat Sushi for a few days who required oral medication. Went above and beyond to let her have patio time with my plants and gave her brushes too. Appreciate the good care!”

“We had such a wonderful experience with Alexis. She took such great care of our babies while we were away and gave us so much peace of mind. She made sure they were well loved, kept active with walks, and stayed on their normal routine. One of our favorite things was the pictures she sent! We absolutely loved getting updates and seeing how happy and comfortable our pups were. It meant so much to know they were in such good hands. We truly appreciate the care and attention she gave them and would definitely trust her again in the future. Highly recommend! 🐾💛”

Really amazing ! Could tell she truly loves taking care of animals. Followed instructions precisely. Great communication before and during, and plenty of pictures. I have an older pet, so it especially made my vacation stress free, knowing she was in good hands. Will definitely use Jacqueline again !
I can't say enough wonderful things about Ashley! She has done so well with Cooper. He can be quite a challenging dog, but he loves when she visits him and he behaves better for her than he does for us! She is so knowledgeable and experienced with dogs and we call her The Cooper Whisperer! She is excellent with communication, also, providing real time pictures, as well as status updates!

Such a blessing to have Jacqueline hang out and take care of our pups. She was the best communicator and went above and beyond for us. You can tell she loves animals and immediately gave so much love and attention to ours. She followed our instructions perfectly and even did extra when we had unexpected packages. So grateful for her time and help.

Jason was quick to respond when we needed a last minute drop in for our pups. He was so great and attentive to our dog’s needs. He was also very respective to our home. Our yard was muddy and he made sure to clean our pups up before taking them back in. Will definitely use Jason again

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
To find sitters in Friendswood with recurring or weekly availability, select "Repeat Weekly" and which days you’d like them to care for your pet.
