“Joseph came and visited my dog twice one day while I was out of town. He offered to meet with me beforehand to understand my dog’s requirements and personality. He arrived for the visits at the time requested and was totally communicative the whole time. My dog loved her visits and Joseph somehow managed to get several good pictures of my high-energy dog while they were playing. Will definitely rebook with Joseph in the future.”

“Kira was very accommodating to my fur babies whom can be a bit of a hassle sometimes. Also was flexible for me as needed. Thank you Kira! I would definetly book again any time I’m away from home.”

About: I’ve had dogs my entire life, and caring for them has always been second nature to me. I’ve raised and trained puppies, cared for senior dogs with love and patience, and everything in between. I’m experienced in leash training, treat training, managing different energy levels and ensuring dogs feel safe, loved and engaged—whether it’s during a walk, playtime or while they’re relaxing at home. What sets me apart is my deep understanding of a dog’s emotional needs. I truly believe that dogs are healing animals and I approach each one with the same love and attention I give my own. I’m attentive to body language, responsive to their individual personalities and adaptable to their unique needs. Whether it’s a high-energy pup that needs an adventure or a senior dog that requires a slower pace and extra care, I’m here to provide the perfect balance of fun, comfort and love. It’s an honor for me to care for dogs and give them the affection and attention they deserve while their families are away. I work from home and have a very flexible schedule during the weekdays, which allows me to easily incorporate pet care into my daily routine. As a dog mom and a mom to three kids, I’m used to balancing care and attention for everyone in my home. I’m available for walks, playtime, and check-ins throughout the day, but evenings and weekends are typically dedicated to my family, making my availability a bit less flexible during those times. That said, I’m happy to plan ahead and do my best to accommodate any special requests! Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or a client’s home, safety, trust and comfort are always my top priorities. I take the time to get to know each dog’s personality, routine and preferences to ensure they feel secure and at ease. I’m attentive to their body language and signals, always making sure they feel safe and loved. In a client’s home, I maintain their established routine as closely as possible—whether that means following feeding schedules, administering medication or keeping up with favorite walks and playtime. I’m respectful of the space and treat each home as if it were my own. When pets are in my care, they not only receive my full attention, but they also have a very loving and social dog to play with, providing them with companionship and fun. Plus, they’ll be surrounded by my warm and caring family, who will shower them with love, attention and plenty of tummy rubs. I create a calm, loving environment where dogs can relax, feel safe and truly be part of the family while their owners are away.
“We booked with Sarah over 10 times now because she is awesome! We can tell she really cares about our pets and shows them lotsss of love! We have also given her complicated care/feeding instructions and she followed them perfectly. When we’ve had to suddenly change our booking she is always very understanding and does whatever she can to help. We recommend her highly and will continue to book her!”

“The best! So thankful for Traci, my work hours are crazy and she was always so amenable to helping me out whenever I was in a pinch! She is so caring and helpful with my girls! Was so helpful with my special needs girl and even with cleaning up after she destroyed her own diaper. Just the best!”

About: I’ve cared for animals since I was 6 years old when we got our first family dog. I’ve also worked in an exotic vet clinic where I was able to pick up a lot of helpful care information about a variety of animals and tips on training. I currently have 2 amazing, happy, and healthy fur babies of my own! I am home full-time and typically spend the day with my pets. I rarely leave them for more than a few hours at a time if I need to run errands. I have a fenced yard that I maintain daily to allow a pet-friendly space for playing and quick potty breaks. There is a spare medium-sized kennel in the doggy room if any separation is needed. I also have a wall-to-wall metal gate for the hallway to allow slow introductions or separated play areas for smaller and larger animals.
“Adrianna did a GREAT job with my pets while we were on vacation!!! She watched my three ferrets, cat, three lizards, and frogs and each of them were taken great care of! She had great communication which was so appreciated since I can be a bit of a worrisome pet parent😅! I was 1000% reassured that my pets were in great hands when any lizard parents worst nightmare happened! Our slightly chunky cat, Louie, jumped on top of our lizards enclosure and broke the top! Leaving the top exposed, causing our lizard, Gustavo, to escape. Adrianna texted me as soon as she arrived for the check in and noticed what had happened. She let me know that she found Gustavo basking on the windowsill and took a pic of her holding him and putting him back in <3. We had just moved into the home right before leaving on vacation so all of our tools were packed up in unknown locations in the garage - but Adrianna immediately offered that her father could drop off a staple gun so she could stay and keep an eye on our lizard to make sure he didn’t escape again! Before I knew it she texted me that it was all fixed! I was so happy and thankful that she was able to get the issue solved so easily and ensure my pet was safe :,) Next time I go out of town I 100% hope she is available for rebooking :) 10/10!!!!!”

“Katarzyna was great! She was super friendly and communicated every step of the way! Our dogs definitely enjoyed her visiting with them. We would definitely rebook her again!”

About: I am a people pleaser. If your dog requires a special diet, bath, or activity I am happy to apply that focus. I want to care for for your fur-baby just like grandma- spoil them until they go back home with their parents, you! The love I provide them for a short experience will be well worth it. I work from home full time to meet your pet’s needs. My experience with animals include cats, dogs, and birds. I love to play fetch and award treats, to continue the training you have been working on. I work from home full time and take one hour lunch break. If your pet requires a daily outing to socialize i can accommodate daily outings. My girl Lexi is friendly with all dogs, unless they have manners she isn’t in tune with, she will just go on her own way. Pets are allowed to be a part of my family during their stay, if they have a bed or kennel do bring that as I don’t provide a kennel. It’s really only necessary if they get over excited, chew, or if it is their safe place.
About: Hey there! I’ve loved animals my whole life and greatly enjoy caring for them. I grew up with dogs, cats and horses, and I currently have an adorable little dog named Kota. I always strive to create a safe and fun experience for your pet because I believe every animal deserves our very best. I am comfortable and experienced with both large and small dogs, having owned my own and having cared for other peoples’, as well as cats and most small animals. I also have experience handling dogs with moderate behavioral issues with care and gentleness. I have a very flexible schedule and am generally able to adjust my schedule with sufficient notice. At least two days’ notice is best, but I am sometimes able to accept same-day bookings. I walk my dog multiple times per day every day and it is the highlight of my day. In my home, my dog gets a lot of exercise and play. I have experience properly utilizing a crate (not over-using it) if that is a part of your dog’s routine. In a client’s home, I’d make sure the dogs get walked AT LEAST twice per day or more, with plenty of play and activity in between. I do not leave dogs alone in my home or anyone else’s for long periods of time. Important note: for overnight stays, I would have to bring my dog with me into your home, as I don’t have anyone else to care for her. For this reason, I do prefer drop-in visits. If you would prefer overnight care, my dog is very friendly and playful with all animals and I am happy to set up a meet and greet with our animals in a neutral place in advance. I crate her when I leave the house, so I will be bringing that and sufficient food with me. You will not have to provide any supplies for her. For drop-in visits and walks, I do not bring her with me.
About: I love to make sure that any pets are cared for and loved on. I make sure they’re happy, safe, and healthy. I also play with them so they get the exercise they need. I am an online college student and I have a lot of free time on the side to care for animals. I have checked on neighbors dogs before making sure they are well taken care of. I make sure all pet have enough food and water. I also make sure to be by their side if they’re scared in any way and to also play with them to make them happy.
League City dog parents share their Rover experiences
Anisa is great and treats our puppy exactly the same as we do, which is the most important thing to me. She gives him her full attention and is always engaging, taking the time to truly bond with him during each visit. I will definitely continue to look for her when Dante needs walks or a midafternoon break!

Cooper was feeling extra anxious when I left for work the morning of Hannah's visit. I texted her a novel on what was going on with him and she took every precaution with him that I asked her to. The visit went really well. What a relief for me, as I was working!

Maddie is exceptional. She is attentive, compassionate, and truly cares about the dogs she works with. I had complete peace of mind knowing my dog was in such capable hands. I would absolutely trust her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring dog walker.

Delaney is a treasure! She is a lovely person who our little dog Benny just adores! She watched him for 10+ days and was prompt, clean and made him the most delicious meals! She took lots of pictures and videos which kept us from being as lonely for him. You're lucky if you can get her!!!

Etni went above and beyond taking care of my two pups while I was away. From the moment I met her I knew she was not only reliable but also invested in giving my girls the best care and attention. Not only did I receive some of the best photos of my pups, I also could tell how much they enjoyed being with her. This made being away so much easier for me. I would highly recommend Etni to anyone.

Joshua took such great care of our pup, Peanut, while we were away. He made sure to communicate with us every visit, and when our pup seemed as tho she could benefit from an extra visit than we originally booked, he made sure to make time in his schedule to make it to where we could book her a mid-day visit with him for the rest of our trip. He was very thorough on his rover cards with all of the information on our pups visits with him, and made sure to send lots of photos. We really appreciate Joshua and will definitely be booking with him on the future.

Sara was amazing with the boys. And so patient. My great Pyrenees can get pretty loud. She gave him his space and let him get used to her. She made multiple trips to meet them before the actual visits. This is my first trip leaving them. Sara sent pictures and kept me updated. Absolutely will use again.
