“I am very happy with a Rebel’s stay at Synamon and Christopher’s home. We received regular updates and photos. They made him feel right at home! I would definitely use them again and recommend them for anyone looking for a place for their dog to stay!”

“Amanda was great! She was super communicative and took great care of our dog. We got pictures and updates daily. This was our first time using rover.com, and we will never go back to a boarding facility again! (Hopefully Amanda is free!)”

“Kolohe granted was happy to see her mama, but when I tell you on the way out of Becky and Joel's neighborhood she cried. I think we have found our new awesome pet sitters. Thank You guys she obviously enjoyed herself cause she's never cried leaving from anyone's house before. And since we now have a family I can trust with her bipolar self, she will be going back. Probably sooner than thought since we can now go on a honeymoon in Oct after our wedding.”

“Steven was great with lion. Took him for long walks, took for car rides and socialized lion with other dogs. Was concerned for my dogs health and safety which comforts me. Great lover of dogs”

“I can't say enough about this family and how they care for our Izzy. As long as they can care for her while we are away, I won't use anyone else. Izzy loves Terry and the family. They are good to her.”

“Dana took very good care of Buddy. She sent me pictures to show he was doing good. Buddy is diabetic, he is a very picky eater right now. Not only did Dana help with his shots but she even found food that he will eat. I will take Buddy to Dana for as long as she is dog sitting.”

About: With 25 years of experience raising four beloved dogs of my own, I have a working understanding of canine behavior, routines, and unique personalities. Over the years, I have also provided dedicated dog-sitting for multiple breeds, ensuring they receive the same level of care, playtime, and love I give my own 35-pound pup. Because our household schedule is fully synchronized, someone is always home at our house to provide constant supervision, companionship, and peace of mind for you. Your dog will never be left lonely and will safely step right into a warm, attentive, and reliable family environment. I currently work part-time so I have plenty of time to watch after your dog. When I am at work my husband is home to assist me. I have a fenced yard and my own dog to keep your dog company. I also have a crate to house either dog if preferred.
“My dog Henry doesn't like most people, but he likes Sherri! And when I came to pick the dogs up, my other dog Zora didn't seem to want to leave at all--I think she enjoyed playing with Sherri's dog so much that she would have been fine there for her whole life LOL”

“Martine was such a pleasure to work with. She has a beautiful home in a beautiful safe area with an enclosed backyard that my dog really appreciated. She had no problem administering medicine that my dog needs and they seem to have a great time together and enjoyed little walks around the neighborhood. I highly recommend Martine as a trusted pet sitter who has a warm heart for pets”

“Kristen was/is fantastic with my boys, especially when the thunder-boomers came. She actually slept on the couch with to calm them. I was sent pictures and at least one video every day. Thank you Kristen!! I will be a repeat customer!”

“As always Alexis and Sean are amazing!! They love our pup so much and send updates of him everyday! They are some of the sweetest most genuine people we have ever met and trust them with our fur baby every time we go out of town! <3”

“I was super nervous about finding a new sitter after our old sitter of 5 years moved away, but Ariel made the whole experience so easy. She was so sweet with my pups, communicated really well, and sent lots of pictures and updates throughout their stay. Every photo had them smiling and looking so happy. She completely eased my nerves for our first stay, and I already booked their next trip with her. Honestly, I don’t think they even wanted to leave her house when I picked them up 😂 Highly recommend!”

“If you're looking for a sitter!! She is the one!! My fur babies loved it! She sent daily updates and pictures, and showed them soo much live!!! I will definitely be using her again. Thank you for taking such good care of my babies.”

“Such a great family! I felt very comfortable leaving Gunner with Helen and her wonderful family- he had a great time and arrived back with me even cleaner than when I left him. It’s clear they are animal lovers! Would definitely book again”

Katarzyna always provides the best care for Jax! She goes the extra mile to ensure I’m comfortable by sending pics daily and makes sure to stay in touch while Jax is in her care. I never worry about him while we are away because she is awesome with him! Will definitely book again for our next vacation, 100% five stars!! ⭐️

We are extremely satisfied with the care and attention our dog Bailey received during her stay with Caitlyn and her family. Caitlyn easily handled her daily medications and a special diet. We appreciated that someone was in the house 24/7. Bailey was very energetic when we picked her up and seemed right at home with her Rover family and two dogs just her size. We would definitely recommend Caitlyn the next time you need someone to take care of your small dog.

She was amazing! My sweet boy warmed up to her instantly which rarely ever happens. She sent plenty of updates and pictures/videos through out the stay. My mind was completely at ease, couldn't be happier with her professionalism and communication!! I have family in Houston, so I will definitely be booking again sometime in the near future :)

Ashley was absolutely wonderful! She took incredible care of our dog and was so sweet and attentive. She provided timely, detailed updates throughout Nala’s stay, which gave me complete peace of mind. I knew Nala was in great hands the whole time. I highly recommend her and will definitely be booking her again!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in TX ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
