I’ve had dogs my entire life, and caring for them has always been second nature to me. I’ve raised and trained puppies, cared for senior dogs with love and patience, and everything in between. I’m experienced in leash training, treat training, managing different energy levels and ensuring dogs feel safe, loved and engaged—whether it’s during a walk, playtime or while they’re relaxing at home. What sets me apart is my deep understanding of a dog’s emotional needs. I truly believe that dogs are healing animals and I approach each one with the same love and attention I give my own. I’m attentive to body language, responsive to their individual personalities and adaptable to their unique needs. Whether it’s a high-energy pup that needs an adventure or a senior dog that requires a slower pace and extra care, I’m here to provide the perfect balance of fun, comfort and love. It’s an honor for me to care for dogs and give them the affection and attention they deserve while their families are away.

Such a great family! I felt very comfortable leaving Gunner with Helen and her wonderful family- he had a great time and arrived back with me even cleaner than when I left him. It’s clear they are animal lovers! Would definitely book again
Helenita has been a pet lover her entire life. Mostly dogs but also cats, bunnies, turtles and lizards (but the chickens had to stay outside) have all been in her lifetime zoo. She's walked them, played with them, fed them and vet-ed them for years. She discipline them when needed but mostly just loves her pets. I'm sure she'll take just as great care of your pet as she does for her own.
Helen is a total natural with dogs! The dogs absolutely adore her, wagging their tails whenever she comes by. Her vibe is calm, confident, and playful (but doesn't rile them up too much). I fully trust my pups are in good hands.

Schedule
I work from home and have a very flexible schedule during the weekdays, which allows me to easily incorporate pet care into my daily routine. As a dog mom and a mom to three kids, I’m used to balancing care and attention for everyone in my home. I’m available for walks, playtime, and check-ins throughout the day, but evenings and weekends are typically dedicated to my family, making my availability a bit less flexible during those times. That said, I’m happy to plan ahead and do my best to accommodate any special requests!

Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or a client’s home, safety, trust and comfort are always my top priorities. I take the time to get to know each dog’s personality, routine and preferences to ensure they feel secure and at ease. I’m attentive to their body language and signals, always making sure they feel safe and loved. In a client’s home, I maintain their established routine as closely as possible—whether that means following feeding schedules, administering medication or keeping up with favorite walks and playtime. I’m respectful of the space and treat each home as if it were my own. When pets are in my care, they not only receive my full attention, but they also have a very loving and social dog to play with, providing them with companionship and fun. Plus, they’ll be surrounded by my warm and caring family, who will shower them with love, attention and plenty of tummy rubs. I create a calm, loving environment where dogs can relax, feel safe and truly be part of the family while their owners are away.

A typical day
I love going on walks, to dog parks, playing fetch and teaching them fun new tricks. I pretty much love doing anything your pet wants to do to have fun!
