“June had an awesome time. Daniela’s two fur babies really made June feel at home. Played all day and had no issues sleeping in her kennel during her over night stays. We received multiple pictures and videos of them playing and cuddling together. I can honestly tell you we had zero concerns during our vacation, only that she might not want to come home, lol. Thank you!!”

About: I have about seven years of hands-on experience caring for dogs and have raised and cared for multiple dogs from puppyhood. My experience includes feeding, daily walks, potty training and routines, playtime, basic grooming, and providing plenty of attention and companionship. Having raised puppies, I’m also familiar with the extra patience, supervision, and consistency younger dogs need. I’m comfortable caring for both puppies and adult dogs and will follow your dog’s normal routine and care instructions closely so they feel safe and comfortable while you’re away! I’m currently a law student with a flexible weekly schedule. I’m fully available Mondays, Wednesdays, Saturdays, and Sundays, with additional availability throughout the day on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays. My schedule gives me plenty of time for walks, drop-in visits, playtime, and boarding. I’m also happy to work with your pet’s usual schedule whenever possible to help keep their routine consistent. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my priority. For boarding, I live in a house with a fully fenced backyard and currently have one cat and no dogs in the home. I only board pets from one family at a time so I can provide plenty of individual attention. Dogs staying in my home must be comfortable around cats. For walks and drop-in visits, I’ll carefully follow your instructions and your pet’s normal routine, including feeding, walks, potty breaks, medications, and any other care needs. I’m also happy to provide regular photos and updates while your pet is in my care!
“We had an amazing experience with Katie (and her sweet kiddos/helpers) as our sitter. 😊 She was great with communication, super sweet, has an amazing yard, and we are hopeful that she liked our girl enough to agree to watch her again soon. Highly recommend!”

“First time boarding my recently adopted dog Turkey. I could not have gotten luckier than to have found Roki on the Rover website. Communicated well prior to my dropping off Turkey. Was extremely welcoming when we arrived. Beautiful fenced in back yard and very gentle golden retriever for Turkey to play with. Highly recommend Roki.”

“Thank you for the last minute help taking in our pups, Ashley did an awesome job our dogs seemed to get along with her dog and family, and looked happy and relaxed. We appreciated the consistent and open communication! Thanks again!”

“It all went very smoothly, and great communication. Although I didn't need it, he does offer drop-off/pick-up as well! They came back (ready to be home, obviously), cared for and exhausted after playing with his pup for a few days! I will use him again!”

“Our dog, Daisy stayed with Zee for 5 days and Zee ensured she got all details about Daisy's schedule and habits. She kept us posted every day with photos and videos. Daisy got a lot of attention and was quite happy during her stay.”

“Amy and her family welcomed my furbabies with open arms. My dogs had a great experience at Amy's and they really enjoyed hanging with the children. I got updates 2-3x daily with their activities, potty time, chilling time, fun time with the kids, and/or walks. Amy's family love my dogs and I couldn't have ask for more caring and fun experiences.”

“Hector is so wonderful with Ollie. Hector makes Ollie feel very calm and welcomed when staying with him. Hector is attentive and makes sure Ollie is always ok. Thank you Hector!”

“Laura is wonderful! She made my dog (Penny) and I feel comfortable from the moment we met her! Penny only stayed 1 night but Laura did send me a pic and my girl looked happy. We will be using her from now on!”

“Vanessa was amazing with taking care of my dog. She showed me her home and where he will be sleeping and playing with her adorable dogs. Also sent cute pics and updates through his stay. Very nice lady as well. I highly recommend Vanessa and unless she's not available I don't need to look anywhere else to take care of Bear. ❤️”

“Our senior dog Chewie loved staying with Floyd and his furry buddies. Chewie came home so calm and happy. Floyd is very organized and sent us pictures and updates every day.”

“We couldn't have been happier with Abby's care for our dog. As other reviews have mentioned, she was not only incredibly loving and attentive to our dog, she also did an amazing job of keeping us informed of how our dog was doing. We have an older Doberman that has lived with us her entire life, in the same house, and sometimes requires a little more attention and care (meds, e.g.) so we were a little nervous about leaving her somewhere else for a few days but that nervousness was completely unwarranted. She really did treat our dog as if she was her own. We couldn't imagine leaving our dog with anyone other than Abby going forward and obviously we highly recommend using her to anyone else looking for a a reliable, loving pet sitter.”

“Atiana was amazing with Chip! She was very attentive, caring, and kept me updated with great communication throughout the entire stay. I always felt like Chip was in good hands, and it gave me so much peace of mind. I would absolutely book with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and trustworthy pet sitter. Thank you, Atiana, for taking such great care of Chip!”

Jenni A. Was excellent, I've never used a sitter and I was very nervous. Jenni made me feel very comfortable when we met. She sent me multiple photos of my fur baby daily and occasionally a video. Maizie stayed with her for 3 weeks and I'm sure she will be staying again. Jenni A. Is highly recommended!

Highly recommend Jessica . She was very caring with our puppy she kept us up to date with pictures showing us that our puppy had a great time away from home . We were worried about leaving our puppy behind but Jessica from the moment we left our puppy till the time we picked her up made us fill at ease We definitely thank her for making our puppy Pebbles fill at home.

Krystal always takes amazing care of our 9yo mini schnauzer. We left her for 9 days this time around and never had to worry. Zoey doesn’t always “dog” well with other dogs, so Krystal always makes sure she’s comfy in her own little “apartment” baby gate where she watch but not be touched. I haven’t trusted anyone else with our girl but Krystal for a few years now and won’t go anywhere else. She even gave our girl a little Christmas gift with treats and a homemade Christmas ornament!! So thoughtful!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in TX ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
