About: I have been around and taken care of family dogs since I was younger. I have always been an animal lover! My whole family has at least one dog and I have an 11 year old yorkie myself! I am good with all types of dogs from big dogs to little dogs! I am currently unemployed so I have a lot of free time to take care and play with your fur babies at any time on any day. I do live in an apartment that is gated around and has a very nice and big dog park. I also have a yorkie who is 11 years old and just loves to sleep and cuddle.
“We booked with Sarah over 10 times now because she is awesome! We can tell she really cares about our pets and shows them lotsss of love! We have also given her complicated care/feeding instructions and she followed them perfectly. When we’ve had to suddenly change our booking she is always very understanding and does whatever she can to help. We recommend her highly and will continue to book her!”

About: I’ve grown up with pets all my life, and I’ve always had a way with animals, they always seem to gravitate towards me. I love taking care of people and animals, I want to be a doctor. I’m good at comforting shy/anxious animals, and I can be a great playmate for the adventurous type. I’m currently on summer break, so I have almost everyday completely free. I’m going on a cruise in early July, and then I begin moving into college mid August. I can be very quiet and calm, I am able to sit with pets and/or crate them. I’m happy to play with pets and keep them entertained as well.
“Hannah was great! She would send us daily updates and photos. One of our dogs was not sure about having a stranger in his house, but Hannah handled it like a champ. Would definitely recommend ☺️”

About: I’ve had a variety of pets from dogs to chameleons to hedgehogs. I would love to care for your pets on my free time and treat them as my own! I am a full-time stay at home mom so I am completely free to attend to your fur baby at all hours of the day. I will be sure to treat every pet as my own and care for them with the same standards you, the owner, cares for them.
“I can’t say enough good things about Talia and Andrew! They took such wonderful care of our dogs, Piper and Bailey, while we were out of town. When we did the meet and greet, it was clear our pups would be in loving hands. Talia and Andrew have a warm and welcoming home, and their two dogs, Gigi and Kya, were the perfect playmates for Piper and Bailey. It was heartwarming to see them all get along so well! They even picked up and dropped Piper and Bailey off at our house, which made the whole process incredibly convenient. We use Talia and Andrew for drop-in visits four days a week while we’re at work, and they are our regular sitters. We truly love them! They always make sure the dogs have plenty of exercise and playtime, and they send us regular updates and photos, which eases our minds while we’re away. They also have two cats, Binx and Sophie. Binx has no problem with dogs, and since I have a cat at home, it was great to know that Piper, who loves to play with cats, felt comfortable around them. The whole household feels like a happy, loving environment, and it’s clear that Talia and Andrew genuinely care for all their animals. When we returned from our trip, Piper and Bailey were happy and relaxed, which spoke volumes about their experience. I highly recommend Talia and Andrew for anyone looking for a caring and responsible dog sitter. We will definitely continue booking with them! Thank you, Talia and Andrew, for being such amazing caretakers for our furry family!”

About: We have all types of toys from plush toys to Kong toys and treats. I have experience with senior dogs and puppies. Our 2 year old dog is KCG trained so we’re patient and we can even help with continuing training. From sit, down, stay, and shake. I love taking our dogs on a walk and giving them lots of attention. From them sitting next to us to playing. We believe in fun, while training. Giving them a fun and encouraging way to keep their mind stimulated while also playing and giving them love that dogs need. We have a ton of toys as well as mind stimulating toys to keep them busy and entertained until you come pick them back up. 15+ years experience I currently work full time but it is work from home. So I’m pretty flexible with taking care of your fur babies by taking them on walks. I give them attention they want but also am cool with giving them alone time. We have a pretty decent size home with many different rooms so they can be alone if they want.
“Fantastic experience! Zoe was communicative, reliable, and took excellent care of Stella,Copper, & Millie. Our dogs were happy and relaxed during the visit. We greatly appreciated her time! I highly recommend booking with her!☺️”

I am highly responsible, energetic, and dedicated to making sure your dog feels safe, happy, and loved while you are away. Whether they need a long walk or some cozy couch cuddles, I’ve got it covered! I am currently a student with classes only on Mondays and Wednesdays. I specialize in caring for pets directly in the comfort of your own home, where they feel most safe and secure. While I do have a fully fenced backyard and can crate dogs if absolutely necessary, I prefer traveling to your house to maintain your dog's regular routine, environment, and peace of mind.

Jessica was great for a first time drop in visit request. We did a meet and greet where we showed her the house and how to care for our dogs and she followed every step. She sent great updates and pictures while we were out for the holiday. She was very communicative and professional. I highly recommend her!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
To find sitters in La Porte with recurring or weekly availability, select "Repeat Weekly" and which days you’d like them to care for your pet.
