About: I'll try to keep this brief or I risk sounding like Dr. Suess . I LOVE animals, even the ones who don't love me. Dogs of all sizes, cats of all colors, anything creepy or crawley or scaley is right up my alley. I grew up with dogs and cats but also rats and mice as well as scorpions, snakes, and lizards. I have experience with every stage of life for these animals as well as a variety of temperaments and medical needs. I have experience with hand rearing kittens and in handling rambunctious puppies. Every animal is unique and I enjoy getting to know each one individually and tailoring their care to their needs! I will say I do not have much experience with birds but I am happy to learn! I have a wonderful job that I love but there are gaps in my work schedule that I would love to fill with animals ! My mornings through the afternoon completely free , I work in the evening and I am available overnight. I will always care for your pets as instructed and to the best of my ability! Feeding, walks, and potty breaks will be consistent with lots of play and attention for the animals who want it!

About: I’ve been around dogs my whole life and I’m super comfortable with all kinds of personalities. I’m used to feeding, walking, playing, and keeping dogs calm and happy. I pay attention to what each dog needs and make sure they feel safe and relaxed while you’re away. For the safety and comfort of all pets any minors or children will be supervised by me during all rover bookings. Im currently a student in college, so I’ll only be doing this when I am home. However, I have no kob or anything occupying me so I can come home whenever I want on the weekends and I have a really long break coming up. So pretty much all my time is free to be available for your needs. I have a huge backyard and frontyard. They are unfenced but I have 2 dogs myself and they do fine with the area. The neighborhood is really friendly so I take the dogs on walks at least once a day and feed them 2-3 times a day depending on the dog. I have lots of toys the dog(s) can use and play with and I will be there watching the dogs at all times!

About: I am an animal control officer and looking to get more time in with the animals. I enjoy my job and the animals that I have at home. I am passionate about what I do and how the animals are cared for, regardless of owner. I am offering house visits if I am able to work those in on my days off or during the night. I also am willing to walk dogs as well during those times or even house sit. With loving animals so much, I am even willing to bring them into my home. I hope that you see my love for animals as I do and trust me enough and are willing to leave your fur babies in my hands to be cared for while you are away.

About: Hi! I grew up in a big family that always had cats and dogs around, so caring for animals has been a natural part of my life from the start. I’m responsible and truly enjoy getting to know each pet’s personality! From the bubbly ones to those who take longer to open up, I believe every animal deserves empathy, patience, and a loving environment. I’d love to be a fill-in to help make your pet feel comfortable and cared for when you’re unable to be there. I’m working part-time, so I have a conveniently flexible schedule and would love to work with you to accommodate your needs. I’d love to meet you in the way that works best for you. I understand pets are precious to those who love them, and it’s an honor to watch yours! Safety is a number one priority, and all communicated concerns will be closely monitored. About: I’ve helped my best friend with her two cats. I would feed and clean the litter. They were both two different cats with very strict diet plans Working non traditional hours has allowed me to be a bit flexible, but communication is key in order for me to schedule out my pet care. I treat every pet differently depending on their needs and comfort. If an owner gives me specific instructions on an animal and how they interact, I will always go the extra mile and make them comfortable

About: I am a part time flight attendant but full time dog mom and have a very flexible schedule. I’m looking to make some extra cash as we have a baby coming soon and boy are they expensive hah ! I have a huge love for dogs and animals in general. I figured this would be a great opportunity to combine my passion for animals and also get to work. I am also very active and love to jog and walk around on a nice day with my dog! My love for dogs is unparallel! Their love and forgiveness is amazing and they just make me so happy when I get to be around them. I am on call with work so I can drop in throughout the day if needed ! My schedule is super flexible and I’m usually doing nothing but errands most days ! I follow each individuals specific rules as I would want my own dogs to be taken care of the same way I prefer them to . Everyone’s different !

About: My respect and love for animals was introduced early. I'm the daughter of a veterinarian and have cared for animals most of my life. Our animals are family. I look forward to becoming an extension of care and friend to your pups. I currently work from home which provides me freedom to flex my time. I adore animals and so spending time with them does not feel like work. Let me know your pet needs and we will get the ball rolling. I look forward to meeting your fur baby! I look forward to meeting you and your pets to establish familiarity and trust. I ask questions and listen to better serve the needs of your pet on the daily and long term. Whether your dog is carefree, requires lots of exercise, emotional reassurance, or requires daily medical needs - I am fully capable to take care of your fur baby. Each home and pet are unique so communication and updates with pictures mean a lot to me. I care and it shows. • 96% can help with daily exercise

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
