About: I’ve always had animals in the home. I absolutely adore them and love spending time with them. I have experience giving medications to dogs and specific feeding routines. I do work 8-3:30 most days besides weekends so I can be with the animals a lot and work a consistent schedule that allows me to be with the animals on a certain routine. I have a fenced in yard, with lots of shade. Lots of space in the backyard and inside of the home for the animals to explore.
“Angie was amazing with both my cats and dogs! Super easy to communicate with, kept me updated, and sent the cutest photos while I was away. I felt totally at ease knowing they were in good hands. I’d definitely book with her again!”

“Victoria is the literal BEST! My dogs have trust issues and often refuse to go to the bathroom with anyone other than me. She was able to get them to go to the bathroom by showing such patience. When she sent me pictures of my fur babies it felt like they may actually like her more than me 😂 thanks Victoria for taking away the stress of trusting someone to take care of them when I was gone. 10:10 recommend!”

“Hannah was great! She would send us daily updates and photos. One of our dogs was not sure about having a stranger in his house, but Hannah handled it like a champ. Would definitely recommend ☺️”

About: I've met nearly any kind of dog and cat you can imagine, with personalities and needs of all sorts. My family has always relied on me to take care of and tend to many of their pets. What makes them so inclined to choose me comes from my extensive knowledge and expertise on animal health and body language. Every pet has something to say, and I always do my best to make an animal feel safe, seen, and understood. Animal behavior (more specifically dogs and cats) is one of my special interests, so I am always learning new ways to understand and bond with furry friends. You can always count on me to give your pet the absolute happiest and comforting experience that I can offer, no matter their circumstances—I've even tended to partially-paralyzed pets, so no matter the situation, I will always put your pet first and make sure they know I'm there to help. Pet care will fit into my weekly routine wherever possible! I've got all sorts of time on my hands, so I will always be available to tend to your fur baby! I currently have 2 cats that get along quite well. They are offered several scratching posts and cat trees, alongside many toys and exclusive playtime for enrichment. I've grown up with several dogs as well, so I'll always know exactly how to make your pet feel comfortable and at home!

About: I’ve been around dogs my whole life and I’m super comfortable with all kinds of personalities. I’m used to feeding, walking, playing, and keeping dogs calm and happy. I pay attention to what each dog needs and make sure they feel safe and relaxed while you’re away. For the safety and comfort of all pets any minors or children will be supervised by me during all rover bookings. Im currently a student in college, so I’ll only be doing this when I am home. However, I have no kob or anything occupying me so I can come home whenever I want on the weekends and I have a really long break coming up. So pretty much all my time is free to be available for your needs. I have a huge backyard and frontyard. They are unfenced but I have 2 dogs myself and they do fine with the area. The neighborhood is really friendly so I take the dogs on walks at least once a day and feed them 2-3 times a day depending on the dog. I have lots of toys the dog(s) can use and play with and I will be there watching the dogs at all times!
About: I will love your pets as my own & take good care of them & play with them. I am very energetic & will stay playing with your dogs for hours. I will take your dogs on walks to the lake or park. I will treat your dogs with care & love. Whatever will make your fur babies comfortable here I will do. If you are in the middle of training them, I can help with that. I have had a lot of dogs in my life that I have trained & my dogs are well trained & will help lol. I did work at a grooming place where I would bath dogs, if you would need me to bath your dog while there with me, I will. i also did some grooming as there nails & trimmed there paw pads & sani areas. i do groom my own dogs as i am currently practicing & hoping to become a dog groomer in the future. i have a Goldendoodle (Female/Spayed) & a Giant Schnauzer (Male/Spayed). I’m currently not working at the moment, I am tryin to save up for school. Drop offs/Pick up time is between 6am-7pm or it will be charged another day. If you would like me to pick up or drop off your dog I can, I do have a vehicle. I have a fenced yard & 2 friendly dogs who will keep your fur baby company. If your dog is crate trained then you are more welcome to bring there crate.
“Taylor was amazing! My dog was going through some health problems when we went on our trip and she was accommodating keeping up with his medication and taking careful care of him. Came back home to a happy and healthy dog!”

“Kelly is awesome!!! She is very prompt and takes excellent care of our fur babies. Two of the four are more timid. When she has those two on her lap, that's a wonderful person. I would recommend her to everyone!! Thanks for a wonderful job!!”

About: I’ve grown up with pets all my life, and I’ve always had a way with animals, they always seem to gravitate towards me. I love taking care of people and animals, I want to be a doctor. I’m good at comforting shy/anxious animals, and I can be a great playmate for the adventurous type. I’m currently on summer break, so I have almost everyday completely free. I’m going on a cruise in early July, and then I begin moving into college mid August. I can be very quiet and calm, I am able to sit with pets and/or crate them. I’m happy to play with pets and keep them entertained as well.

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - La Porte
Hannah was an absolute lifesaver! From the start, her communication was above and beyond—I always felt completely in the loop while I was away. Most importantly, my cats absolutely adored her. To top it off, when my cats decided to cause total chaos and completely mess up the house, Hannah went way beyond her duties and cleaned up after them without hesitation. I couldn't have asked for a better, more trustworthy sitter. I will definitely be booking her again and cannot recommend her highly enough!

Jessica was great for a first time drop in visit request. We did a meet and greet where we showed her the house and how to care for our dogs and she followed every step. She sent great updates and pictures while we were out for the holiday. She was very communicative and professional. I highly recommend her!

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in La Porte. On Rover:

- 97% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 96% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
