“Denetria was great🙂. She was punctual, followed all of our instructions, and took photos. She even stopped at the store to purchase a leash to walk out dog. I will be using her again.”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since high school- ranging from my own pup who is an active Aussie mix to mini breeds, to larger breeds like boxers/German shepherds. I love to spend time outside and train with my pup- we even completed therapy dog training together! I have experience with all ages from 6 months to 13 years and would be happy to work with any pet family! I’m currently in medical residency. I typically take my dog for walks in the mornings and at night (& keep this schedule for other pet parents) and am available for late afternoon visits as well. Weekends tend to be more flexible! I have a fenced in yard available and one friendly pup in the home. I tend to feed pups separately, and they have free roam of the home.
“LeChelle has been fantastic with my puppy Gia. Reliable, caring, and always on time, she ensures Gia gets the exercise and attention needed. The regular updates and photos are a great touch. Highly recommend!”

“I am handicapped and unable to take my dog on long walks like I used to. Tim has been walking my dog for two years now. He is great with my dog. My dog loves Tim and looks forward to seeing him. Tim is reliable and dependable. So glad we found Tim for our walker!”

About: Hi there! I’m Julia—a 27-year-old former elementary school teacher turned full-time remote professional. Working from home lets me do what I love most: spend my days with animals. Pets have been part of my life for as long as I can remember. My mom has worked in a veterinary clinic for over a decade, so I grew up learning how to keep dogs and cats happy, healthy, and safe. I have a dog named Asher, who is a playful 7-year-old Australian Shepherd. I offer reliable, loving care for your four-legged family members—whether it’s daily walks, drop-in visits, or overnight stays. Let’s set up a meet-and-greet so your pup or kitty can sniff me out and see if we’re a match. I can’t wait to meet them! I currently work from home in a remote setting so I am more free to walk your pet or let your pet outside and play with them. I care for the pets by playing with them, taking them outside and cuddling/ petting them whenever they come up to me to want some loving!

“She is great! We contacted her last minute, and informed her that our dig isn’t always friendly with new people. She was able to calm him down in the first minute or two, and took him on a mile long walk (which is amazing for our dog)! Thank Nova! My wife and I will definitely be reaching out in the future.”

“Brianna helped us out for several months walking our very high energy Great Dane. She was responsible, trustworthy and reliable. She helped our family so much and we wouldn’t hesitate using her services again if needed!”

“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Kendall was absolutely amazing! This was our first time using the Rover app—or leaving our dog with anyone other than family—so naturally we were a little nervous. Kendall immediately put our minds at ease. She is incredibly sweet, kind, and clearly loves animals. Her communication was excellent the entire time we were away. She kept us updated and really went above and beyond to make sure our babies were comfortable, happy, and well cared for. It meant so much to know they were in such good hands. I honestly couldn’t be happier or more impressed with her service. We will absolutely be using Kendall again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone trustworthy and caring! 🐾”

About: With over 20 years of experience caring for cats and 6 years with dogs, I bring both heart and expertise to every pet I meet. I’ve provided 24/7 care for neonatal kittens, worked closely with adult cats, and have hands-on experience with basic dog training. My deep understanding of canine and feline behavior helps me create a calm, safe, and happy environment—whether it’s for a walk, playtime, or overnight care. Your pets are treated like family! I currently go to school for full time, however I do have a lot of free time between classes. I’m a theatre technician student but most of my classes are online, which gives me flexibility. I have two cats who are on a strict feeding routine. They are alternated between dry and wet food which I add other things to like chicken hearts or salmon oil, just depending on what I have at that time for them. They both have a lot of energy so they get plenty of play. However, I still like to find different forms of enrichment for them just to keep things interesting. Regarding pet care for my clients, I love detailed information about the pet such as their feeding times, behaviors, and needs. It’s very important to be that every animal I care for be comfortable, safe, and happy.
About: I’ve grown up around dogs my entire life and currently have three of my own at home. My grandma breeds dogs, so I’ve had a lot of experience caring for dogs of all ages, including puppies and senior dogs. I also pet sat for many families throughout high school and cared for different breeds and personalities. I truly love being around animals and treat every dog like my own. As a college student, I’m looking for a fun and reliable way to spend time with dogs while helping owners feel confident their pets are in great hands. I am currently just a full time college student so I have plenty of time to care and spend time with pets. I often only have classes 2 times a week so my other days are perfect for spending time caring for your pets needs! I have 3 pets at home that I feed, walk, and play with, so I am very used to spending lots of times with dogs!

AJ is fantastic! Would give 10 stars if that was an option. Very experienced and confident with my larger size dogs who also have reactive tendencies. AJ is knowledgeable about dog training and has tremendous patience. AJ is very caring and creative - coming up with enrichment activities when its too hot or rainy for a walk. I'm so glad to have found AJ.
Kaylee is a breath of fresh air!! LITERALLY! After receiving more hours at work, she slid in and saved the day by getting my boy, Buster Brown (60lb pup) out of the house and moving while I’m away! Consistent client here, overly satisfied by Kaylee’s services and prompt professionalism. Can’t recommend enough. Just don’t take my time slots ;) THANK YOU KAYLEE! Buster Brown can’t wait to hang again, and I thank you for loving my pup and helping us out. <3

Etni had her work cut out for her- it rained every day I was away. She went above and beyond when she took them for an extra walk because the rain cut into their original walk. I’m very appreciative of Etni and the time and attention she gave to my pups while I was away. I would definitely recommend her to anyone.

Najwa, came in a time of need and at last minute to come take care of my border collie puppy, she was super respectful and made sure to give extra attention and care for my little doggo. Followed the instructions given and went beyond to make sure my lil pup was happy.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
