About: I’ve been dog sitting and house sitting on and off my whole life but have been doing it a lot the last 4 years! I absolutely adore all kinds of dogs from puppies to my senior citizens and have no difficulty with strict schedule or with go with the flow ones as well! I will make sure to keep your baby’s safe while giving them all the attention they could ever ask for! I’m currently work a part time job. So I can do most early mornings and afternoons. I also am free most weekends to dogs walk, dog sit, or swing by if you need me. I always make sure to watch dogs closely making sure they don’t eat or smell anything hazardous. I always like to walk fences and check for holes in yards as well ask for any allergy’s a dog may have. I also like to be prepared and know your vet and there phone number in the case of an emergency. I am a detailed oriented as well as alert person so I will always make sure your dogs safety comes first.
“She is great! We contacted her last minute, and informed her that our dig isn’t always friendly with new people. I also pet sat for many families throughout high school and cared for different breeds and personalities. I truly love being around animals and treat every dog like my own. As a college student, I’m looking for a fun and reliable way to spend time with dogs while helping owners feel confident their pets are in great hands. About: I have loved and cared for a wide range of pets and personalities, understanding that each one has their own unique needs and routines. I take the time to ensure pets feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for by carefully following instructions and maintaining consistency in their routine. I also provide regular communication, updates, and photos so owners can feel confident and connected while they’re away, unless requested otherwise. Caring for pets is something I genuinely enjoy incorporating into my routine. While I work full-time Monday through Friday from 9 to 5, I am able to stay overnight in clients home so pets can stay comfortable and in their familiar space and routine. Depending on the location, I can also stop by during lunch breaks for walks, potty breaks, feedings, medications, and extra attention. I prioritize making pets feel safe, loved, and cared for while their owners are away. I am very attentive when it comes to following all instructions, routines, and rules provided by pet owners to ensure pets remain comfortable and stress-free while in my care. I understand every pet has different personalities, boundaries, and needs, and I take the time to learn their mannerisms and routine so I can provide care that feels familiar and safe to them. Whether in my client’s home or during visits, my priority is always creating a calm, comfortable, and happy environment where pets feel secure and well cared for.
About: With over 20 years of experience caring for cats and 6 years with dogs, I bring both heart and expertise to every pet I meet. I’ve provided 24/7 care for neonatal kittens, worked closely with adult cats, and have hands-on experience with basic dog training. My deep understanding of canine and feline behavior helps me create a calm, safe, and happy environment—whether it’s for a walk, playtime, or overnight care. Your pets are treated like family! I currently go to school for full time, however I do have a lot of free time between classes. I’m a theatre technician student but most of my classes are online, which gives me flexibility. I have two cats who are on a strict feeding routine. They are alternated between dry and wet food which I add other things to like chicken hearts or salmon oil, just depending on what I have at that time for them. They both have a lot of energy so they get plenty of play. However, I still like to find different forms of enrichment for them just to keep things interesting. Regarding pet care for my clients, I love detailed information about the pet such as their feeding times, behaviors, and needs. It’s very important to be that every animal I care for be comfortable, safe, and happy.

“I was seeking a last minute dog walker for a weekend getaway. Lily was quick to respond and came to meet me and my dog the very next day. She is very sweet and my dog immediately loved her and loaded her with kisses the moment they met. She showed up on time for each dog walk, sent pictures and the walk information. She sent me messages with updates and eased my mind with her communication. Even brought in a package that was delivered. Definitely will use her again!!! 10/10 recommend!!!!”

Faith was a great sitter and a huge help over the holidays! We needed a new sitter last minute and she took the time to come meet us beforehand and was very kind and communicative. She went above and beyond to follow our picky pup’s feeding schedule and sent us lots of photos every day!

Najwa, came in a time of need and at last minute to come take care of my border collie puppy, she was super respectful and made sure to give extra attention and care for my little doggo. Followed the instructions given and went beyond to make sure my lil pup was happy.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
