“We booked with Sarah over 10 times now because she is awesome! We can tell she really cares about our pets and shows them lotsss of love! We have also given her complicated care/feeding instructions and she followed them perfectly. When we’ve had to suddenly change our booking she is always very understanding and does whatever she can to help. We recommend her highly and will continue to book her!”

“Brianna is very dependable and thorough. She took very good care of our cats (fed them and scooped their litter daily exactly according to our instructions). She brought in our mail and watered a couple of our plants. She also sent us photos of our pet every day. I highly recommend Brianna!”

“All I can say is omg! Karina was so attentive, loving, and very sweet to our sweet girl. Our fur baby is basically our child and any anxiety I had immediately went away. Karina wasn’t late one time, she made sure to send pictures, and she followed instructions and even pointed out things to ensure we aware. I will recommend her to anyone that’s looking for in home care or even overnight care. I can guarantee your fur baby will be in great hands! Karina, again we truly thank you and look forward to utilizing you again for our Honey Bun!💕”

Caring for your pet inside there home will allow not only allow you to be less stress but also your pet as there stay in the normal environment.

“Adrianna did a GREAT job with my pets while we were on vacation!!! She watched my three ferrets, cat, three lizards, and frogs and each of them were taken great care of! She had great communication which was so appreciated since I can be a bit of a worrisome pet parent😅! I was 1000% reassured that my pets were in great hands when any lizard parents worst nightmare happened! Our slightly chunky cat, Louie, jumped on top of our lizards enclosure and broke the top! Leaving the top exposed, causing our lizard, Gustavo, to escape. Adrianna texted me as soon as she arrived for the check in and noticed what had happened. She let me know that she found Gustavo basking on the windowsill and took a pic of her holding him and putting him back in <3. We had just moved into the home right before leaving on vacation so all of our tools were packed up in unknown locations in the garage - but Adrianna immediately offered that her father could drop off a staple gun so she could stay and keep an eye on our lizard to make sure he didn’t escape again! Before I knew it she texted me that it was all fixed! I was so happy and thankful that she was able to get the issue solved so easily and ensure my pet was safe :,) Next time I go out of town I 100% hope she is available for rebooking :) 10/10!!!!!”

“Tiffany did an amazing job looking over my cats while I was out of town. I would definitely recommend her. She was on time, interacted with the cats, cleaned up when they made an accident even though I told her she didn’t need to and I’d get to it. She is fantastic.”

“Laura is the best! After she watched our cats for four days, I think they were actually disappointed when we came home. She’s super attentive, thorough with her updates, and gave them tons of love and attention while we were gone. Highly recommend!”

“Lily is great with my cat, making sure she has food, water and a clean litter box when I travel. In addition, Lily is very reliable, and I enjoy the photos and updates she sends with each drop in visit.”

About: I currently have a toddler, a senior cat and a giant puppy. I am a full-time teacher, and am interested in giving your fur babies love while showing my baby care and responsibility. Due to my teaching schedule, I am only available after 4pm Monday-Friday*. I am free all day on weekends. *This is subject to change on holidays/summer. I would feel uneasy about a stranger coming into my home. Knowing this, I would treat your home with the utmost of care while providing love and care to your pets while you’re away.

About: Hi! I'm Brizza, a 24-year-old Animal Science student at Sam Houston State University with 9 years of experience in veterinary medicine. I'm currently based in League City for the summer and look forward to caring for pets in the surrounding area. I've worked as both a veterinary assistant and technician. My experience allows me to recognize abnormal behavior early, administer oral medications and injections, monitor pets for signs of illness or discomfort, and provide compassionate, attentive care. Whether your pet needs medication, extra patience, lots of playtime, or simply someone who understands their unique personality, I'm happy to help. I currently volunteer with a wildlife rehabilitator to continue expanding my knowledge while building experience for veterinary school. I'm comfortable caring dogs, cats, and other small mammals, including seniors and pets with medical needs. Animals have always been my passion, and I treat every pet as if they were my own—with patience, kindness, and respect. I'm dependable, responsible, and committed to keeping both you and your pet comfortable through regular updates, photos, and communication while you're away. Whether your pet is energetic, shy, senior, or has special medical needs, I'd be honored to provide the same level of care and attention I would give my own pets. I can't wait to meet you and your furry family members! As a full-time Animal Science student, I have a flexible schedule this summer and am available for drop-in visits, dog walks, and house sitting throughout the week in the League City area. Caring for animals is something I truly enjoy, so I make it a priority to give every pet plenty of attention, exercise, enrichment, and affection. I'll happily follow your pet's normal routine—including feeding schedules, medications, potty breaks, and bedtime routines—to help them feel comfortable and stress-free while you're away. Your pet's safety, comfort, and well-being are always my top priorities. With nearly a decade of veterinary experience, I'm trained to recognize subtle changes in behavior that may indicate illness, pain, or stress and can administer oral medications and injections when needed. I practice calm, low-stress handling and tailor my approach to each pet's personality, whether they're energetic, anxious, shy, or senior. I will treat your home with the same respect I would my own, carefully follow all care instructions, keep your pet's environment clean and secure, and provide regular updates with photos so you can have peace of mind while you're away.

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Nassau Bay
Kayla was amazing to work with. She dropped in daily to take care of our two cats while we were on vacation. She fed, cleaned litter box, and played with them for a bit and provided us with updates and great pics/videos. Will definitely be booking her again in the future and highly recommend her to everyone!

Spectacular service! I just moved here but had to go back to California for a funeral. Was beginning to despair about finding someone to feed and give insulin to the cats. So so grateful Madeline cheerfully agreed on such short notice to drive from out of my area and then kept in touch with me by phone while I was gone and concerned about the feedings. Furthermore the code did not work at the auto gate to the complex so she parked outside and used the pedestrian one both times. She was very patient to make sure Tyson got fed even though he was hiding both times. I can't thank her enough for her service and will use her again!

Najwa was our first experience using the Rover app and we couldn’t be happier! She dropped in to look after our fur babies while we were traveling with so much love and care, going well above and beyond what was expected. She was quick and easy to communicate with and provided us with great photos and updates during each visit which helped assure me that they were in the best of hands. Definitely will be using Najwa again in the future!

Etni dropped in on our cat several times while were on travel. She sent photos and videos and our cat was very happy when we got home. The food water and litter were all tended to and she was respectful of the house. We will be happy to have Etni care for our cat again.
First, Kaylee was fantastic! She is personable and passionate about animals. My kitties were happy with her. Will definitely use again. Second, loved rover app. First time user, app easy to use, scheduling was easy and lots of options. Absolutely recommend and will use again.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
