About: Hi! I’m Ayva, your pet’s future best friend! I’m a lover of all animals with years of experience caring for furry friends. I currently care for my own German Shepherd who has unique dietary requirements. This has taught me the importance of paying attention to feeding instructions, medication, exercise, and recognizing if something is not right. I am comfortable following detailed care instructions, maintaining routines, cleaning up after pets, and providing plenty of updates and photos so you have better peace of mind. I’m patient, dependable, and detail-oriented. Whether your pet loves long walks, playing with toys, or simply relaxing and cuddling, I’m more than pleased to match their energy and keep them as comfortable as possible while you are away. I understand how worrying it can be to leave your pet behind in the hands of someone else. My goals are to minimize your worry and stress by providing exceptional care and in-detail updates, and to provide your pet with a comfortable, safe environment while you are away. I’m currently a college student, though I am more than willing to work around my schedule to fit your pet’s needs and timeline. My schedule tends to be flexible, especially on weekends. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I prioritize keeping their routine as consistent as possible to help them feel comfortable and safe. I carefully follow all feeding, walking, medication (if needed), and other care instructions, and I will make sure your home is left just as I found it. Your pet’s safety is always my top priority. I’ll ensure gates, doors, and leashes are secure before going outside, monitor your pet for any changes in their behavior or health, and provide plenty of exercise, attention, and affection based on their needs. I will also send you regular photo and video updates so you can be as stress-free as possible while you are away.
“Naomi was so wonderful with my senior Great Dane who had a lot of accidents while I was away. She never complained- just got the job done and was very caring for my sweet gal. Thank you!!”

“Rachel took such great care of our sweet Mac. She send pictures every day and he looked so happy in all of them! We had to extend our trip by an extra day due to travel issues and she took care of him no problem. It took so much worry off our plates. She even took care of my plants while we were gone. It feels great to know we can travel and have confidence that our sweet guy is taken care of! We’ll definitely be booking with Rachel again soon! Thank you so much, Rachel!”

“Emily was wonderful! She was quick to respond, reliable, and always on time. Our dogs loved her and we were able to truly enjoy our weekend away knowing they were being well taken care of. We will definitely book with her again!”

“Maddie was amazing with my cats. Even with my shy one that would hide under the bed during the visits, Maddie made sure to check on her. My cats are simple to care for but it means a lot to know that Maddie keep up on the litter box and full communication with text and photos while me and my husband were away.”

“Eva was fantastic with our three dogs and one cat! Everyone was cheerful and healthy throughout her stay and we came back to a clean house and happy fur babies. Its so nice to be able to have peace of mind when traveling.”

“All I can say is omg! Karina was so attentive, loving, and very sweet to our sweet girl. Our fur baby is basically our child and any anxiety I had immediately went away. Karina wasn’t late one time, she made sure to send pictures, and she followed instructions and even pointed out things to ensure we aware. I will recommend her to anyone that’s looking for in home care or even overnight care. I can guarantee your fur baby will be in great hands! Karina, again we truly thank you and look forward to utilizing you again for our Honey Bun!💕”

“Tiffany did an amazing job looking over my cats while I was out of town. I would definitely recommend her. She was on time, interacted with the cats, cleaned up when they made an accident even though I told her she didn’t need to and I’d get to it. She is fantastic.”

“Adrianna was great with our pups! She took the time to come meet them before her scheduled drop ins and they warmed up to her immediately. She was prompt and responsive and we would have no hesitation to book with her again!”

“Kira was very accommodating to my fur babies whom can be a bit of a hassle sometimes. Also was flexible for me as needed. Thank you Kira! I would definetly book again any time I’m away from home.”

“We booked with Sarah over 10 times now because she is awesome! We can tell she really cares about our pets and shows them lotsss of love! We have also given her complicated care/feeding instructions and she followed them perfectly. When we’ve had to suddenly change our booking she is always very understanding and does whatever she can to help. We recommend her highly and will continue to book her!”

Three litter boxes, water bowls and fountain as well as two patios with plants! Not to mention all the pictures of them as well as Belle and O’Henry the outside kitties. It’s always reassuring that when I’m away you are there to take such great care of my cats. Thank you and have a Happy 4th of July! 😻😸🇺🇸”

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Nassau Bay
Kyle has been our go-to pet caregiver for many years. Our current dog and cat adore him, as did our many previous pets throughout the years. He has a very calming influence on them and he is even able to bathe them and groom their nails easily. For extra $, he does an outstanding job of sanitizing the automated cat litter box as well! We’ve even had Kyle house sit many times and meet and manage contractors and workers at the house. He and his fiance also did an exceptional job of organizing cabinets and drawers, as well as whole rooms, as we were working through some major home renovations. You will not be disappointed if you hire Kyle for pet care or anything else you need done in your home!
Sarah was proactive in taking care of my two girls’ litter boxes and sent cute pictures of them during her stops! Communication was great as I always like when people feel comfortable to ask questions when they’re unsure about anything. The cats both seemed happy when I got home, so I definitely think they appreciated her company!

Kayla was amazing to work with. She dropped in daily to take care of our two cats while we were on vacation. She fed, cleaned litter box, and played with them for a bit and provided us with updates and great pics/videos. Will definitely be booking her again in the future and highly recommend her to everyone!

Najwa was our first experience using the Rover app and we couldn’t be happier! She dropped in to look after our fur babies while we were traveling with so much love and care, going well above and beyond what was expected. She was quick and easy to communicate with and provided us with great photos and updates during each visit which helped assure me that they were in the best of hands. Definitely will be using Najwa again in the future!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy.
