I’m currently working part-time, and I already pet sit for a few friends, family, and neighbors, but I have a pretty flexible schedule to accommodate more clients!

The way I care for each pet is different based on each client’s needs. I just try to do exactly what the owner normally would do for their pet, plus I make sure to give everyone lots of attention and play time. I also can take your pups on walks if they like that. I have a Husky, so multiple, long, daily walks are just a way of life for us! I’m also great with dogs who are nervous around new people or just always have anxiety. I promise I’ll become one of their new favorite friends! As far as pet sitting at my home… I have a clean, smoke-free home, and my apartment complex has two enclosed dog areas for them to be able to freely run around in outside. There’s also a huge loop, which is where I take my sweet boy on his walks.

Please let me know about any of your pet’s special needs. Any medications I would need to give them. Certain ways or toys they like to play with. I’ve even cared for a dog with anxiety who like to have her blanky on her whole body and head while she was sitting or laying. Everyone’s babies are different! Just let me know what I can do to make them the most comfortable while you’re away!

I love giving ear and belly rubs! I also enjoy taking dogs on walks on different trails… there’s nothing more adorable than the excitement a dog shows when you say the “W” word. Most dogs love going new places and smelling new things while they are getting exercise! There are also a few different fenced in dog parks I like bringing them to so that they can run free without their leash! However, I rarely do that with my client’s pups (unless specifically asked) because of safety reasons. Typically, I try to just do what my pet’s parents would normally do, plus I add in lots of attention and affection!! Same thing goes for if I’m watching a pet in my home. My apartment complex has two fenced in dog areas where they cab run around without a leash during potty break. This is a great area to throw them ball with them! I take my dog on short walks throughout the day just because he loves it, but I do his long walks in the morning and evening. Cats are different because they typically don’t go outside and just like to do their own thing on their own terms. I normally just let them come to me when they want some affection :).

Hey there! My name is Kendall, and I’ve been told my whole life that animals seem to have a special affection for me—and that feeling is absolutely mutual :) I’ve been caring for and loving animals for as long as I can remember. I grew up primarily with dogs, mostly Border Collies, until the time I went to college, where I gained my first cat roommates, and became a mom to my Siberian Husky! Over time, I’ve become the go-to pet sitter for my entire family, extended family, friends, and neighbors—something I truly love doing! People consistently entrust me with their babies (human and fur), and I take that responsibility seriously. I have experience with a wide range of breeds, including Huskies, Collies, Dachshunds, Boxers, Aussies, Spaniels, Yorkies, Dalmatians, German Shepherds, Pit Bulls, Golden Retrievers, Frenchies… you name it! I’ve cared for pets of all ages—from young puppies and kittens to senior dogs and cats—and I’m comfortable accommodating different needs, routines, and medications. I understand that every pet is unique. Some need extra encouragement to eat, special meal routines, or just a little extra patience and attention. I’m very used to working with those individual quirks (I even have a Husky who insists on a “taste tester” bowl before eating—true Husky fashion haha). Above all, I make sure every pet feels safe, comfortable, and loved. If you want the peace of mind of knowing that someone is truly treating your pet like their own and giving them plenty of attention, playtime, and affection while you’re gone, then look no further!

Grateful for Kendall for taking care of my puppy in a last minute notice. She provided me with great communication throughout the whole time, sending me updates and pictures ensuring me that my puppy was happy and taken care of.

We had a great experience with Kendall! She came twice a day, was reliable, communicative, and took such good care of our dog while we were away. You can tell she genuinely loves animals. Her dog Knox is absolutely adorable and so sweet, too. It gave us a lot of peace of mind knowing our dog was in good hands. We would definitely use her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy sitter.
