About: Hi! I’m Ayva, your pet’s future best friend! I’m a lover of all animals with years of experience caring for furry friends. I currently care for my own German Shepherd who has unique dietary requirements. This has taught me the importance of paying attention to feeding instructions, medication, exercise, and recognizing if something is not right. I am comfortable following detailed care instructions, maintaining routines, cleaning up after pets, and providing plenty of updates and photos so you have better peace of mind. I’m patient, dependable, and detail-oriented. Whether your pet loves long walks, playing with toys, or simply relaxing and cuddling, I’m more than pleased to match their energy and keep them as comfortable as possible while you are away. I understand how worrying it can be to leave your pet behind in the hands of someone else. My goals are to minimize your worry and stress by providing exceptional care and in-detail updates, and to provide your pet with a comfortable, safe environment while you are away. I’m currently employed part time, though I am more than willing to work around my schedule to fit your pet’s needs and timeline. My schedule tends to be flexible, especially on weekends. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I prioritize keeping their routine as consistent as possible to help them feel comfortable and safe. I carefully follow all feeding, walking, medication (if needed), and other care instructions, and I will make sure your home is left just as I found it. Your pet’s safety is always my top priority. I’ll ensure gates, doors, and leashes are secure before going outside, monitor your pet for any changes in their behavior or health, and provide plenty of exercise, attention, and affection based on their needs. I will also send you regular photo and video updates so you can be as stress-free as possible while you are away.
“Tori took such good care of my babies! When she discovered one of them had become sick she was so communicative and caring which made me feel secure in the safety of the babies. 10/10 would recommend!”

“Rachel was absolutely wonderful! I could not have asked for a better pet sitter for my sweet kitty while I was on vacation! She took excellent care of her and provided me with thorough updates on how she was doing! I’m beyond impressed with Rachel!”

“Madeline is very kind and attentive to the needs of our pups. She keeps open lines of communication throughout the rover visits. Will definitely be using her again!”

“Tatum is fantastic!! We have two yellow labs, one who is a puppy and one senior dog, Tatum checks on them multiple times a week and is always flexible if our schedules change. We are so thankful to have found Tatum and don’t know what we would do without her!!”

About: I'm a huge animal lover from my dog, Kyro, my cats, Mijo and Chicken to my parrot, Rico and bunny, Bean. Ive taken care of animals for as long as I can remember from all sizes and breeds, from Chihuahuas to Border Collies to Greats Danes and all their little puppies. As well as Tabby Cats and more maintenance longed haired cats like Maine Coones! I do well with exotic animal as well and a fast learning to your animal's needs. I am also able to help and care for more elderly or special animals from experience of my own animals. I have animal sat before, but looking to expand on Rover!! I have a lot of flexibility and availability for pet sitting I'm on summer break right now and have a good amount of time on my hands, and once school starts up in the fall only go Tuesdays and Thursdays until 12pm! All of my animals are free roam were slowly introduced to each other to keep to peace! I have my dog, 2 cats and a bunny who all live in the house together while the parrot chills in the house but likes to be garage with my dad.
About: I am a well experienced vet nurse now in undergrad with high hopes for med school! I've been a dog trainer all the way up to ICU nurse. I think I can handle most any situation so you can leave your home and your babies comfortably with me! I'm going to school online on a self paced basis so pet care is a perfect fit for me and my schedule. My 86 year old neighbor loves my 1 year old miniature poodle Boseman and loves her little farm so long stays away are okay with the both of us. My poodle Boseman has free range of my place but is also fully kennel trained if need be (used when I worked long hospital hours). He gets walks around our pond or goes next door with my neighbor's 50+ chickens, 2 cats, and 3 dogs. He gets fed twice a day and plenty of treats (super high metabolism lol).
“Thi was great! She kept us up to date with each of her check ins with how our babies were doing and any changes in mood or behavior. Her pictures were amazing and we got to see our kitty playing and enjoying herself during the check ins. Our kitty loved her!”

“Anne did a great job with our dogs! She came to do a meet and greet prior to us leaving which was so nice because it gave the dogs a chance to get familiar with her and for me to talk to her!… We also received pictures at every drop in and she stayed in contact with updates which we appreciated. We highly recommend Anne for your puppy needs!”
“Devon is the greatest! He is friendly, dependable, and has a very high level of care for my trio of pups! I had to alter the details (changed time slightly) and he was very accommodating. I trust him fully. A+++ we will look forward to the next visit in the future.”

“We had such a wonderful experience! ❤️ Lola and Hazel are English Bulldogs, and anyone familiar with the breed knows they require quite a bit of daily care. She handled everything beautifully, including cleaning their wrinkles every night and keeping up with their normal routine. Having her stay with them in our home made such a difference. They were able to stay where they were comfortable, follow their usual schedule, and never had to deal with the stress and anxiety of being somewhere unfamiliar. Her communication was excellent and always prompt. She sent us lots of pictures and updates throughout our trip, which gave us so much peace of mind knowing our girls were happy, comfortable, and being well cared for. 🐾❤️ We came home to two happy, relaxed bulldogs! I’m very particular about who I trust with Lola and Hazel, especially because of the extra care their breed requires, and I felt completely comfortable with her. We will absolutely use her again and would highly recommend her!”

“The best! So thankful for Traci, my work hours are crazy and she was always so amenable to helping me out whenever I was in a pinch! She is so caring and helpful with my girls! Was so helpful with my special needs girl and even with cleaning up after she destroyed her own diaper. Just the best!”

“Evan was fantastic! Super kind, detailed in her daily assessment of my cat, and left my place just as she found it. My cat really enjoyed his time with her as well!!! Super thankful for Evan!”

“This was the second time Rachel watched our senior kitty for us. It puts us at ease knowing she is in good hands while we are away! Thank you Rachel for taking such good care of Tinker!”

“Tessa thank you so much for always taking care of Benny. He loves you! We appreciate the updates and cutest pictures you send. For anyone reading this, 100% recommend Tessa. She is THE BEST.”

“Tracy is amazing!! She goes above and beyond on her visits. She’s so sweet and loving to the animals and sent me updates while I was at work on how the visit was going. She followed all instructions perfectly and made sure everything was perfect for us, her, and the animals! I recommend to everyone and anyone!”

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Dickinson. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
