“All I can say is omg! Karina was so attentive, loving, and very sweet to our sweet girl. Our fur baby is basically our child and any anxiety I had immediately went away. Karina wasn’t late one time, she made sure to send pictures, and she followed instructions and even pointed out things to ensure we aware. I will recommend her to anyone that’s looking for in home care or even overnight care. I can guarantee your fur baby will be in great hands! Karina, again we truly thank you and look forward to utilizing you again for our Honey Bun!💕”

“Katie was so caring and professional. It was easy to work with her and she was understanding and flexible with our situation being we were traveling. Thank you for taking such good care of our girl.”

About: Hey there! I’ve loved animals my whole life and greatly enjoy caring for them. I grew up with dogs, cats and horses, and I currently have an adorable little dog named Kota. I always strive to create a safe and fun experience for your pet because I believe every animal deserves our very best. I am comfortable and experienced with both large and small dogs, having owned my own and having cared for other peoples’, as well as cats and most small animals. I also have experience handling dogs with moderate behavioral issues with care and gentleness. I have a very flexible schedule and am generally able to adjust my schedule with sufficient notice. At least two days’ notice is best, but I am sometimes able to accept same-day bookings. I walk my dog multiple times per day every day and it is the highlight of my day. In my home, my dog gets a lot of exercise and play. I have experience properly utilizing a crate (not over-using it) if that is a part of your dog’s routine. In a client’s home, I’d make sure the dogs get walked AT LEAST twice per day or more, with plenty of play and activity in between. I do not leave dogs alone in my home or anyone else’s for long periods of time. Important note: for overnight stays, I would have to bring my dog with me into your home, as I don’t have anyone else to care for her. For this reason, I do prefer drop-in visits. If you would prefer overnight care, my dog is very friendly and playful with all animals and I am happy to set up a meet and greet with our animals in a neutral place in advance. I crate her when I leave the house, so I will be bringing that and sufficient food with me. You will not have to provide any supplies for her. For drop-in visits and walks, I do not bring her with me.
“Hannah did so good with our GSDs, they can be a little intimidating at first but she had them warm up to her perfectly!! She refilled their water bowl for them and played and let them out while we were away for a few hours. Will definitely be rebooking!!”

“Kelsie was an amazing pet sitter for my cat, Squid. She absolutely went above and beyond. She checked in with me every day, took pictures and kept my home neat and tidy. I would definitely recommend her, and hire her again.”

“Kira was very accommodating to my fur babies whom can be a bit of a hassle sometimes. Also was flexible for me as needed. Thank you Kira! I would definetly book again any time I’m away from home.”

About: I've been around dogs my whole life and I'm currently in college so I have a lot of free time. I have 4 dogs(2 frenchies, a staffy, and a malinois) at the moment but they are extremely friendly and well trained. I'm in college but it's online so I have plenty of time to show attention and care for pets. I have a few appointments through the week, but my schedule is pretty clear otherwise! I am able to give dogs the care they need and I can follow detailed care instructions so please do not hold back on what your pet needs. My dogs run around in the backyard. I play fetch, tug of war, and give lots of treats. I give them mental enrichment toys such as a snoop as well as heavy duty chew toys(bully level).
About: I grew up helping take care of the family dog and got my own dog in 2020. I have been volunteering for local shelters for the past 9 years as well as pet sitting for family members! I love dogs and cats! I’m a teacher so I am always free during school breaks — perfect for family trips! As long as I know your plans, I can be very flexible. I have experience with fosters and shelter animals with varying levels of fear, anxiety, and aggression. I am very careful around new animals and give pets lots of space to build their trust. I have a soft spot for rescues!

“Laura is the best! After she watched our cats for four days, I think they were actually disappointed when we came home. She’s super attentive, thorough with her updates, and gave them tons of love and attention while we were gone. Highly recommend!”

“Alyssa was responsive and communicative. I am a first time rover user and she took the time to meet my dogs and I beforehand for a meet and greet which really meant a lot to me. Thank you!”

“Devon is the greatest! He is friendly, dependable, and has a very high level of care for my trio of pups! I had to alter the details (changed time slightly) and he was very accommodating. I trust him fully. A+++ we will look forward to the next visit in the future.”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since high school- ranging from my own pup who is an active Aussie mix to mini breeds, to larger breeds like boxers/German shepherds. I love to spend time outside and train with my pup- we even completed therapy dog training together! I have experience with all ages from 6 months to 13 years and would be happy to work with any pet family! I’m currently in medical residency. I typically take my dog for walks in the mornings and at night (& keep this schedule for other pet parents) and am available for late afternoon visits as well. Weekends tend to be more flexible! I have a fenced in yard available and one friendly pup in the home. I tend to feed pups separately, and they have free roam of the home.
“We used Rover for the first time and we were definitely skeptical at first. However, we got very lucky with Molly. She always kept us informed about everything and was asking questions so she could make sure she was doing everything as well as possible. It was very clear she truly cared about our cats and was willing to do whatever was needed. We would definitely choose her in the future and recommend her to others. (she also took great pictures)”

“For our first experience using Rover, Mia was absolutely spot on with how she handled drop-ins. From playing with our pets, feeding them and even cleaning up an accident. It’s easy to tell she is very comfortable with various types of sizes in dogs. We highly recommend her service!”

“Luke was amazing! He was super punctual, very communicative, and kept us updated every step of the way. He sent lots of photos, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. You can tell he genuinely cares our dogs were so comfortable and happy with him. Highly recommend and we’ll definitely be booking with him again”

Jessica was fantastic! We needed someone at the last minute to care for our three dogs with multiple visits each day during our Fourth of July weekend trip. She came by for a meet and greet beforehand, and from the very first visit, she was reliable, caring, and communicative. She took great care of all three of our dogs, always walked them, and sent regular updates with photos after each visit, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. Jessica is dependable, professional, and clearly loves animals. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy person!!!

It was my first time using Rover so I was bit hesitant but I can say Adrianna is the BEST! I had an upcoming cruise and she took care of my fur baby and home with no problem! She was very good with updates and arrived at a timely manner! She was very professional and has a wonderful personality! I will rebook with her again! Thank you Adrianna!👏👏😊

Karen and Mike were amazing!, they were the only people who accepted to take care of the kennel since my puppy still on potty training in there, they gave me tips for 1st timers with the key and I can tell they just love what they do, 10/10. I’m happy with them and definitely I’ll keep working with this amazing couple.

Etni went above and beyond taking care of my two pups while I was away. From the moment I met her I knew she was not only reliable but also invested in giving my girls the best care and attention. Not only did I receive some of the best photos of my pups, I also could tell how much they enjoyed being with her. This made being away so much easier for me. I would highly recommend Etni to anyone.

Sara was amazing with the boys. And so patient. My great Pyrenees can get pretty loud. She gave him his space and let him get used to her. She made multiple trips to meet them before the actual visits. This is my first trip leaving them. Sara sent pictures and kept me updated. Absolutely will use again.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
