I have a fenced yard for my dog. I keep dogs on a leash when walking. I pay attention to their behavior to get an idea of how I should approach them or the situation and let them take the lead when they are nervous to meet.

A typical day
I love to meet and greet to get an idea of the dogs energy and behavior and to also give them the opportunity to get the idea of my behavior as well. I talk to them to let them know I am a friend and am there to help them. Then we walk or take care of instructed business while at the same time showing them the same respect as I show my dog and how I perceive the owner would like me to show.

I’ve had dogs in my life my whole life. Since becoming 18 I’ve owned my own dogs and cats. Recently I have started walking and caring for others pets as well, in times the pet parents are unavailable, I.e. work, trips, emergencies, etc. I am a new elementary school teacher so I have the summer, weekends, and many holidays off and can occasionally work in the evenings on weekdays. I can’t promise consistent routine visits, but I can certainly make visits that are randomly scheduled. I have a fenced yard and a crate for my dog. When I care for my clients I follow the pet parents instructions and treat the pets with the love, affection, and respect that I treat my own pets.

Wonderful! Kari did drop-ins for my two big, needy dogs. She sat with them and gave them attention, played LOTS of fetch, gave overall great care. They warmed up to her right away. Will definitely hire again - I'm very grateful for the high quality care!
