“My pup enjoyed her time with William so much that she was reluctant to leave. William regularly sent me photos and texts to keep me apprised of my pup's activities. I was happy to see her enjoying her stay.”

“Our boys had the absolute best time with Thi. They were spoiled beyond belief I didn’t think they’d want to come home. Thank you for being amazing with our boys!”

“Mia was very flexible and took care of my two animals, treating them as royalty. I had to extend my request a bit longer and she was able to accommodate. Received multiple updates during their stay as well as pictures, so I could definitely tell they were in great hands. Hands down, one of the best pet sitters I have dealt with since using this platform. THANK YOU, Mia B!!!”

“Zee was the absolute BEST! My boys Frank & Beans stayed with her for a few days and she was so wonderful and I know they had such a good time. She took the best pictures of them, was super thorough and attentive, and it gave me so much relief and peace knowing they were in such good hands. Her home is beautiful and I know my pup loved the yard and getting great outside time. I can’t recommend Zee enough - I will definitely be requesting her again in the future!”

“Martine was such a pleasure to work with. She has a beautiful home in a beautiful safe area with an enclosed backyard that my dog really appreciated. She had no problem administering medicine that my dog needs and they seem to have a great time together and enjoyed little walks around the neighborhood. I highly recommend Martine as a trusted pet sitter who has a warm heart for pets”

“My Bella was very happy and healthy when I picked her up from her stay. She seemed to really like Lori and her two dogs. Lori sent me a message and photo during her stay. I will use Lori again.”
“Amy and her family were great, sending pictures and videos twice a day to show how much fun the dogs were having! She was very flexible with drop off and pick up times when our schedules had unexpected changes. Our dogs loved their stay at her house she will be our first call the next time we need to go out of town.”

“Pixel had so much fun with Grace and her family! This was my first time using Rover and Grace was very friendly and made the experience go very smoothly. She was super responsive to messages, drop-off and pick-up were easy, and I loved all the updates and action shots of Pixel playing with the other dogs! I will definitely choose Grace again when I need a sitter in the Deer Park area.”

About: With 25 years of experience raising four beloved dogs of my own, I have a working understanding of canine behavior, routines, and unique personalities. Over the years, I have also provided dedicated dog-sitting for multiple breeds, ensuring they receive the same level of care, playtime, and love I give my own 35-pound pup. Because our household schedule is fully synchronized, someone is always home at our house to provide constant supervision, companionship, and peace of mind for you. Your dog will never be left lonely and will safely step right into a warm, attentive, and reliable family environment. I currently work part-time so I have plenty of time to watch after your dog. When I am at work my husband is home to assist me. I have a fenced yard and my own dog to keep your dog company. I also have a crate to house either dog if preferred.

“They took such great care of Bali. They sent pictures every day along with updates on how he's doing. He looked very happy with his tail wagging in the pictures. I missed him a lot but felt good knowing he was well taken care of. I'm glad they don't have crates and love the big fenced in backyard for him to run around.”

About: What sets me apart from other sitters is my genuine love and personalized attention for each pet, making sure they feel comfortable, safe, and cared for like part of my own family. I also focus on clear communication with pet owners to keep them updated and at ease. I am currently a senior in highschool and the thing i enjoy most is animals! I have two maltipoos in my home and i am their main care taker but just meeting new dogs brightens up my day. It’s not about the money when it comes to pet care, it’s getting to spread my love to other animals! I make sure to keep pets comfortable and calm by sticking to their usual routine, giving them lots of love, playtime, and exercise. Whether they’re at my place or yours, I follow any special care instructions closely and keep the environment safe and clean. I also update you regularly so you know your pets are happy and well cared for.
“Steven was great! I could tell he really loves dogs and huskies! I was apprehensive about boarding my dog Han because I was going out of town for almost two weeks, but my worry quickly melted away and I think Han had a great time.”

“Our senior dog Chewie loved staying with Floyd and his furry buddies. Chewie came home so calm and happy. Floyd is very organized and sent us pictures and updates every day.”

“They made sure my dog was part of the family for her stay! Marnier was so spoiled and happy. I could tell she loved them and will be happy to go back soon! Becky was great about communication before the stay and sent me lots of updates and pictures while I was gone. I couldn't have found a better family to love my baby when I travel!”
“Great experience for us and pup Alexis and Sean were very friendly, responds to messages promptly. We got pics of Flynn too I highly recommend their care and we’ll go with them again when we’re back in Houston.”

About: I’ve been pet sitting since I was 16. I have experience watching dogs and cats as well as rabbits and chickens. I have watched young puppies all the way up to dogs that are 15. I have experience taking care of pets that need medications or medical attention from surgery. I work full time, but have a very flexible schedule. I am able to take your furry friend on walks, car rides, and to the park. I am available all days of the week to pet sitting as long as I have about a week’s notice of the days I am needed. I do live at an apartment, but we have a dog park and a ton of trails near me to walk. If you choose to have me come drop in at your house, I am very trustworthy and reliable. I have references from not only past pet sitting but also from clients whose houses I clean. I am okay with pets on my furniture and bed, but if they prefer to be in a crate I can make sure to accommodate.
“It all went very smoothly, and great communication. Although I didn't need it, he does offer drop-off/pick-up as well! They came back (ready to be home, obviously), cared for and exhausted after playing with his pup for a few days! I will use him again!”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Seabrook
We had a wonderful experience! Rebel was so well cared for and seemed completely comfortable the entire time. We received frequent photo updates, which gave us so much peace of mind, and every picture looked like she was right at home with us. It was clear she was happy, relaxed, and getting lots of love and attention. We would absolutely book again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a caring and reliable dog sitter!

Katarzyna always provides the best care for Jax! She goes the extra mile to ensure I’m comfortable by sending pics daily and makes sure to stay in touch while Jax is in her care. I never worry about him while we are away because she is awesome with him! Will definitely book again for our next vacation, 100% five stars!! ⭐️

Ari is one of the best Rover sitters I’ve ever experienced! I genuinely don’t think I’ll book with anyone else from now on. I have a very high-energy German Shepherd who can get a little mischievous without enough stimulation, and Ari took that need for playtime and activity so seriously. It was honestly the calmest my dog has ever been after staying with a Rover sitter. I booked with her for back-to-back weekends, and seeing how excited my dog was to see her again gave me so much comfort and reassurance. Ari truly cared for and loved my dog like she was her own baby, and you could tell by how comfortable and happy my dog was with her. It honestly felt like she had a second mom. I cannot recommend Ari enough!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in TX ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
