Hello! We’re so happy you’re here and excited to become your fur baby’s new favorite friends! 🐾 About Rain Hi, I’m Rain! I’m a mommy during the day and work at an emergency animal hospital at night! I have hands-on experience as a veterinary assistant, student, galveston marine mammal stranding network volunteer, and lifelong pet owner. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working in a variety of settings including animal shelters, veterinary hospitals, career camps, and daycare/boarding facilities. My passion is providing attentive, loving care to every animal I meet!!🩷 I have experience with with dogs, cats, small pocket pets like hamsters + guinea pigs, fish, and horses. About Damon Hi, I’m Damon! After graduating high school, I attended the Vet Tech Institute in Houston, Texas. I have over 7 years of experience as a veterinary assistant and training veterinary technician, working in both animal medical centers and rescue organizations throughout the Houston area. I love spending time outdoors with our toddlers, grilling, or tossing the football!

I can not recommend Damon and Rain enough. They have watch our golden doodle twice, as she is still a puppy and on the active side they have been amazing with her. She loves staying with them, it’s like her home away from home.They have great communication in regards to scheduling and staying updates.

Schedule
Pet care is a natural part of our daily routine and family lifestyle. Damon works full-time during the day, while Rain stays home with our two boys! This allows for constant coverage and attention — there is always someone home to care for your fur baby. Throughout the day, Rain handles walks, feeding, playtime, and any special care your pet may need. With her experience in emergency and clinical settings, she’s comfortable administering medication, monitoring behavior, and providing one-on-one attention. In the evenings, let’s settle down for the night whether that means cuddles on the couch, backyard fetch, or keeping up with feeding and bedtime routines. Having two sets of helping hands and a pet-friendly home means we’re fully equipped to provide round-the-clock care, structure, and love — just like your pet would get at home.

We have a fully fenced backyard — perfect for pups who love to run, play fetch, or cool off in a kiddie pool filled with water or ice on a hot day! Our spacious two-story home is pet-friendly and equipped with baby gates for added safety and peace of mind. We happily allow furry guests on the couch and bed after a nice bubbly bath — because snuggles are part of the stay! During your pet’s visit, we also provide delicious, high-quality treats from a local small dog treat business — because your fur baby deserves the best!
A typical day
We love to stay active and keep your pup engaged throughout the day! We always start with breakfast and a fresh bowl of water, followed by some outdoor playtime to shake off those morning wiggles. Potty breaks are offered consistently throughout the day — your pup will have plenty of chances to stretch their legs and sniff around. We enjoy family walks and love exploring our neighborhood parks when the weather allows. And on extra special days, we might even load up for a car ride and treat your fur baby to a pup cup from Starbucks — because every good dog deserves a little adventure (and whipped cream!) From playtime to cuddle time, your pup will be treated like family here.
