“Angelo was very responsive and caring. Loved seeing the updates given from him, the dogs looked so happy in every photo received. Angelo also took his time in the beginning to ask questions about the dogs which I highly appreciated.”

“Theo was in great hands. His family treated him like part of the family. He even got to sleep with the youngest daughter and I’m sure he loved that. I’ll definitely be booking again, if they will have him. They sent photos and answered all my questions when asked. Definitely recommend them.”

“When we needed to board our dog, the decision was easy - Angela. Our dog is 15 years old and needs 3 daily meds. Angela handled this easily. If you want pictures of your dog, she is your sitter. There is no doubt that we will use Angela again.”

“Michelle was perfect to watch my puppy all week! She was so kind and sweet to my dog. She would even send photos of her everyday while we were gone and is very communicative. 10/10!”

“Thank you Susan for taking care of our dogs! The dogs always come back tired and and relaxed! Rush and especially Chloe! Thanks for looking after them!”

“Great dog sitter! She kept me updated daily, sent lots of pictures, and took very good care of my dogs. I really appreciated the communication and felt comfortable knowing they were in good hands. Highly recommend!”

“My second booking with Leon was great- shorter trip this time (long weekend) but he still sent pictures and is always great communication with text. I plan to book again in a few weeks!”

“She took care of our puppy on such short notice (literally within minutes at 8am). Had him all day and night and we just scheduled for him to stay another night. Roki is so nice, keeps you updated, and makes us very comfortable while she watches our “son” lol highly recommend”

“Benji LOVED staying with Thi and Jace! From the meet and greet, my pup felt comfortable with the two of them (and he usually takes a while to warm up). He seemed to get a lot of love and attention throughout his stay - cuddling and playing inside and outside walking/playing at the park. They sent me tons of quality photos/videos at 3 times throughout the day, which I made me feel good and confirmed how great of a time Benji was having. They are also very responsible - Thi thoroughly reviewed instructions and asked my permission to take Benji to her dad's house so he could enjoy a large backyard. Their home is a nice, clean, cozy apartment, and they have a few very fuzzy large dog beds that Benji liked. I would recommend 100%! Thank you!”

“I was really nervous to leave my new puppy with someone while I went out of town. However, from the first few conversations my mind was put at ease. The whole family treated my furbaby as one of their own. I got updates and pictures throughout the day. I will be using them again.”

“Joel & Becky took great care of our dogs. It was our dogs first overnight away from home and they were well cared for and comforted by Joel & Becky. We will definitely ask for them if we need someone to watch them again.”

“Liz is a good sitter for our girls. We've taking them twice so far and have been very pleased. She sends cute pictures of their walks and activities and they come back happy. What more can you ask for? Thanks again, Liz! See you next time we are in town.”

“Very good caregiver. My dog was well taken care of and calm. There was good communication, and responsibility was evident at all times. I would definitely trust them with my dog again. Thank you!”

“Emily was great! She is super responsive and took great care of Ahsoka. I got sent updates and pictures; Ahsoka was having a great time! We will definitely board with Emily again!”

“I'm a regular customer at this point coz of the service is always above and beyond for me. Thank you Zee for taking care of my baby and as always Chunky had a blast with you. See you again in a few weeks.”

“Steven is a great caretaker! He will love your dog so much and make sure you are receiving pictures and updates from him! Can’t recommend him enough! He loves dogs and would be a great caretaker for any dog!!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - League City
I was apprehensive about leaving my dogs but they relaxed around Angelo and trusted him right away. It's summer so there were other dogs so they had lots of fun and some socialization. Angelo sent me pictures of them having fun in the yard and sent them home with home made treats. It's a huge relief to have a person that I can trust with my pups.

Katarzyna always provides the best care for Jax! She goes the extra mile to ensure I’m comfortable by sending pics daily and makes sure to stay in touch while Jax is in her care. I never worry about him while we are away because she is awesome with him! Will definitely book again for our next vacation, 100% five stars!! ⭐️

Ashley was absolutely wonderful! She took incredible care of our dog and was so sweet and attentive. She provided timely, detailed updates throughout Nala’s stay, which gave me complete peace of mind. I knew Nala was in great hands the whole time. I highly recommend her and will definitely be booking her again!

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in TX ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
