Hello Everyone!

For those of you who do not know me, my name is Kelly and I am what people call "a true animal lover"!!! I am a Mom of 3 crazy, but loving, wonderful kiddos and a HUGE pet family, from dogs to cats, to an iguana and a turtle! I love my crazy, vibrant long hair and you never know what color (I have greys to cover these days! Haha!) that I have and I love my tattoos and always looking to add another piece to myself to help tell my story! They make me who I am, working on getting Kelly 100% again, and fun colored hair, tattoos, dogs, dogs, and dogs are what will be the medicine to bringing the Kelly everyone knows and loves back!!! So here I go....

As a child growing up I was not allowed to have a dog :(

I did have a gerbil that had babies one time and I did bring home a turtle from the ditch by the golf course another time, and we had a few outside cats that just weren't people cats.

Dogs and farm animals, horses in particular, have always been my passion and I have been one of the lucky ones to be able to pursue a career in the animal industry. I started working in the veterinary field when I was only 15 years old! I worked at Bay Area Animal Hospital for a veterinarian named Dr. Schulte (RIP sir) and held onto that job for a year, before I had to give that up because in high school I was very much involved in FFA and raised steers my junior and senior years so a job became to much with the added duties.

Back to that statement I said above, "I was not allowed to have a dog when I was growing up", I know so sad right?!?! Well I can remember as a "tween" walking over to a neighbors house one day and seeing my very first Siberian Husky with those crystal blue eyes! It was love at first site and I knew I wanted this sweet, happy boy to be a friend of mine so I offered my neighbors a whopping 50 cents to walk their dog around the block everyday they needed. I offered to pay them!! They laughed and allowed me to walk him when needed, let me keep my 50 cents and in return my friends, sister, and I were allowed to swim in their pool and most importantly more time to "doggie sit" with the husky that also swam!

I have been very fortunate to continue my career in the animal industry throughout my life with 18 years of working in the veterinary field, to now being a full time pet sitter/business owner. Those little lessons in life ya know, how I use to try and pay a neighbor to walk their dog because I LOVED him so much, to now I have a "Pet Sitting Family" that uses and TRUSTS me to watch their pet families? I help them and they help me, with any and all pet like situations. I do boarding, daily visits, medical cases, geriatric pets, rescue, and yes puppies and kittens, I help and provide for them ALL in anyway I can, that is who I am and this is what I am passionate and love to do!!! They call me and my business the ~ Home of the traveling "Veterinary Technician"! I am who I am, and I LOVE what I DO!!! Dog spelled backwards is ~GOD~ :)

****HOME ALL DAY ****

We want to say a special thank you to all our clients and furry friends for making this a great experience for us, this is our 7th year with Rover. We enjoy and love all that come into our home, and you all have a special place in our hearts, and we look forward to building relationships with each and every one of you.

My self proclaimed " gold badge" is that my new found friend Jim, AKA, Pa-Pa's Puppy Haven, entrusted his boy Sam and new addition, Susanna to me...again. Jim is the number 1 host in the Nation, I was very honored for this experience, you can read his latest review on my page and see sweet Sam and Susanna's pics, he is the beautiful lab and Suzanna is the Labradoodle. Jim passed away in October this year, I still can’t believe it, it was an honor to call him my friend.

Myself and my husband Angelo have been foster parents to so many rescues and enjoy all that come into our home.

You may encounter some of our short term emergency rescues we foster in our support to various Houston Rescue Group's that pull from high kill shelters. These rescues, move on to their forever homes with the socialization help of our own dogs and our wonderful guests that stay, we all contribute to saving these lost souls.

Your dog will have trips the secure doggie park on Bay Area to socialize and have fun with other dogs, there are also nice green walks in the area

We LOVE seniors, I am experienced with deaf and blind dogs. I also have a dog that requires insulin shots, so shots are no problem, he is now totally blind. I have senior guests that require multiple medications during their visits, that is something we can discuss during our meet and greet.

We treat all visitors as if they were our own. Prior to their stay, we do require that all pups have their flea meds, monthly heart worm treatment and are up-to-date on shots. I would like to get to know your dogs likes and dislikes, quirks, fear of storms, separation anxiety and anything else that would be important to know prior to their stay. All dogs are given the same attention as our own dogs. Our goal is to have you enjoy your free time with no worries or concerns and to know that your baby is being loved and cared for while you are gone. I will be sending you daily picture updates and videos so that you can see how much fun your fur ball is having.

All dogs are kept inside in the ac, they have access to a paddle pool to cool off on these hot Texas days. Dogs get 2 walks per day as well as visits to the dog park, all dogs get filtered water. A Meet n Greet is required prior to booking, its essential to us that you will be happy to leave your dog with us and more importantly, your dog is happy in our home, again, I'll update you throughout your dog's stay with pictures and videos.

I have completed 200 hours grooming training in Masters Grooming Academy and received my Certificate in Grooming and Pet Hygiene.

Thank you for taking the time to read our profile.

Home full time, love dogsSeabrook, TX

I’ve had dogs of varying sizes all my life. My dog Ranger passed away last year at the age of 12. I’m not ready to adopt another but really miss having a dog at home so being a walker/caretaker is a perfect fit for me. Dogs require an abundance of attention to keep them happy & healthy. To help entertain and provide necessary exercise, I give long walks twice a day and potty walks every 2 hours. I feed and offer treats strictly according to owners instructions. I was never comfortable boarding my dogs at a kennel, not knowing if they were left alone in a cage all day. Finding a person to care for such an important member of your family is difficult, I care for for others dogs as if they were my own. I absolutely love what I do and I appreciate the pup parents who allow me to care for their precious pups.

Since I was a little girl my family has always had a pet. Taking care of them is fun and stress relieving. I have a huge backyard for outside play, four girls who love animals, and a very understanding husband! We love being outside so walking with them will never be a problem. Our family has plenty of hugs and playtime to offer any size dog. I am a stay at home mom so I am available all day. My home is large enough to host any size dog and a private room with a queen size bed. I can also keep you updated with photos, messages, or phone calls. When staying with me you can rest assured your furry family will be well taken care of!

Spacious, loving dog getawayPASADENA, TX

My husband and I have 4 dogs, all pugs and one-two foster pugs, depending on their adoption status. We have worked with a local rescue (Pughearts) for several years and I have volunteered at our local animal shelter. I also used to work for the Houston Humane Society. I love dogs, and we have a kennel free attitude (they can also get on the furniture), but we do have kennels available (I do kennel if I leave the house at all for their safety). We have a 1/2 acre and lots of comfy spots to rest. I am a teacher, so I am off all summer but do work through the month of May & return mid August. I can still pet sit, because my mom, who lives on our property, is available to let the pups out for potty breaks and play with them until I get home. I'm also available on most weekends. Also, I am first-aid trained. I look forward to taking great care of your fur baby!

Vet Tech, love is a 4 legged word :)Dickinson, TX

I am a Veterinary Technician and have worked with animals for over 10 yrs. Growing up I've always loved animals. I've worked in a boarding facility and in my eyes I would rather have my own babies be watched In my home so I figured others probably feel the same way. Working with animals always makes my days better, each dog or cat deserves to feel loved and get the attention they deserve in any way possible. My

Husband and I love animals and we will do anything to make them feel at home. I don't mind special request at all! I have a lot of

Owners especially pups with food allergies ask to make oatmeal or even white rice for them. I always respond with " it's there world I just cater to them!" Lol

I don't mind picking up and dropping off if that's a option for anyone, I know how tiring traveling can be!

I'll treat your pet like family!Dickinson, TX

ABOUT ME:

I am privately insured and pet first aid/CPR trained.

I love animals of all kinds! I have had dogs and cats for most of my life, and have been caring for others' pets since 2009. I have also owned birds, fish, tortoises, and turtles, and am very experienced administering medication (including injections) to many types of animals.

We are a family of animal lovers. Our GSD/Siberian Husky, Quill, loves other dogs (and cats), and has earned the Canine Good Citizen title. We continue to attend training classes so we can learn new skills and stay sharp on the old ones. We also have two cats, one is 6 months old and the other is 5 years old, and both get along with dogs. I would love to care for your pet like it was another member of my family!

Please check out and LIKE my Facebook page, Emo's Pet Sitting, for more day-to-day pictures and general information about my pet sitting.

ABOUT MY HOME:

In addition to giving your dog(s) lots of play time and affection, I use security cameras to keep an eye on them when I am out of the house. Because our dog used to be an avid chewer, our house is also thoroughly dog proof. We keep our toy supply stocked with durable indoor and outdoor toys including balls, Frisbees, Kongs, and Nylabones. All food, medication, and cleaners are put away, trash and (most) toys stay out of reach, and we work hard to keep only dog-appropriate things on the floor. We use gates to separate dogs when needed, and all dogs are fed in separate areas to prevent unexpected problems with food aggression.

We have a spacious, shady back yard with a patio, umbrella, dog house, and kiddie (doggie) pool. The dogs have lots of room to run and play, and are never left outside unattended. Our first priority is the well-being and safety of all animals in our home.

The very best care for your pet!League City, TX

Welcome to our home! We're a couple of teachers who adopted a timid Australian Shepherd and have been hooked on dog care ever since. Stella (our first dog) was afraid of people and dogs alike, but over time we were able to show her there was so much to enjoy in the world. Thanks to our experiences rehabilitating Stella, we are especially well equipped to care for timid dogs and those for whom a kennel/boarding facility might be overwhelming.

Over the past 8 years we have been boarding in our home consistently, and we’ve cared for hundreds of dogs with unique personalities and varying energy levels. Additionally, we are privately insured through Pet Care Insurance for your pet’s wellbeing. We’d love to schedule a meet and greet to find out if we’re your dog’s perfect fit!

First time booking with Rover? Ask about our coupon code and save $20!

Please note: We have a four-year-old son at home and two cats. The cats generally keep away from guest dogs, but if your dog has a high prey drive we can enclose the cats in our guest bedroom.

Chelsey has been GREAT with my yellow lab, Chester. He perks up whenever we turn onto her street, and he's always exhausted from playing when I pick him up.
