“Michelle was amazing. It was only the second time that we have boarded our dog and he was so well taken care of. Michelle sent photos and updates twice a day and our boy was relaxed and happy. She has a welcoming home for dogs and a lovely back yard for outside time. We would definitely use again and highly recommend.”

“Abby went above and beyond in caring for our two golden retrievers, Barbara and Timothy. She embraced their chaos and high energy from the moment they walked in the door and we felt fully confident leaving them with her knowing they would have an amazing time. Abby loved them like her own and took exceptional care of them - she even bathed them when they played too hard in some mud! Our pups were happy, healthy, and tired from walks and playtime when we picked them up - we could not recommmend Abby enough and can't wait for our next visit with her!”

“Timothy watched my dog, Nylah, over the weekend on very short notice, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. He was incredibly accommodating and made the entire process easy and stress-free. Throughout her stay, he sent pictures and videos and kept me updated on how she was doing, which gave me great peace of mind. When I picked Nylah up, she seemed happy, comfortable, and well cared for. She even smelled better when I picked her up than she did when I dropped her off! It’s clear that Timothy genuinely cares about the dogs he watches. I would absolutely book with him again and highly recommend him to anyone looking for a reliable and caring sitter. 😊🐾”

“Angelo was great with Nash! Took lots of pictures during his stay and always quick to respond and give me updates. I know Nash had the best time! Highly recommend boarding with Angelo!”

“Sherri was so sweet with our pup Widget, and took great care with her. She was also great at communicating with us and sending updates with pics. We will definitely be booking with her again! 😊”
“First time boarding my recently adopted dog Turkey. I could not have gotten luckier than to have found Roki on the Rover website. Communicated well prior to my dropping off Turkey. Was extremely welcoming when we arrived. Beautiful fenced in back yard and very gentle golden retriever for Turkey to play with. Highly recommend Roki.”

“I recommend Ariel for your boarding care. I am not kidding! She is amazing and a caring person. She is a true a dog lover. my dogs felt at home at her place and they also had a huge backyard for them to enjoy.”
“Luna absolutely loved her stay with Mia. She had a great time and made new friends. Mia kept me updated all the time and made sure Luna felt comfortable. I know she was well taken care of. We will definitely be booking with Mia again.”

About: I have always had pets for the length of there lives. I've trained horses for the races to training hunting dogs for the hunt . The dogs and cats I've owned have all been kept inside safe and sound. No matter what pet it was you can be sure I spoiled them daily. I work from home and can take the proper breaks for play time and restroom breaks .1on 1 time will be no issue to give proper attention. I have a fenced yard to play in and romp around . A nice comfortable area in home to relax, enjoy a meal or sit on couch and watch tv.
“If you're looking for a sitter!! She is the one!! My fur babies loved it! She sent daily updates and pictures, and showed them soo much live!!! I will definitely be using her again. Thank you for taking such good care of my babies.”

“When we needed to board our dog, the decision was easy - Angela. Our dog is 15 years old and needs 3 daily meds. Angela handled this easily. If you want pictures of your dog, she is your sitter. There is no doubt that we will use Angela again.”

“Benji had another great stay with Thi and Jace! He’s so comfortable with them, and I know he’s in great hands when I go away. If you’re looking for thoughtful dog sitters who really care about your dog, they are the ones!”

“Amazing experience. I did not have any worries while I was away. I also think my dog’s experience here was way better and healthier than the big boarding facilities. Bella came home happy and tired from playing with all her new friends.”

“Thank you so much for taking great care of my floofster!! He has been knocked out since we got home 😂😂 Thank you for the photos and updates all weekend!!! I will definitely use you again in the future and recommend you to everyone!!!”

“Robin was amazing with my new puppy Teddy, He is only 9 weeks old, so I was really nervous leaving him. She made me feel so comfortable and took really good care of him while I was getting everything situated. I could tell he was getting a lot of love and attention, and it made me feel a lot better knowing he was in good hands. I’m really thankful for her and would definitely recommend as she treats each dog as her own. Me and Teddy will definitely see her again!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Bacliff
Our first time using Rover and leaving our Sadie for a long period of time! Michelle was AMAZING!!! She sent pictures of Sadie all week and updates to calm my nerves while we were away! Sadie had the best time and could tell she was well taken care of and loved while we were away! My heart was at ease while in Michelle’s home/care! Thank you for such a wonderful experience!!! You were a blessing!

Abby was fantastic! We were looking for someone who could take our pup at the last minute and Abby welcomed her with open arms. Abby was very laid back, spent quality time with our little one, and made sure we stayed up to date on everything. Our dog has a tendency to not eat unless bribed (and maybe not even then) when she is staying with other people. Abby tried so many options, even going out of her way to purchase and try out additional dog food. Our dog clearly had so much fun, made good friends with a cat buddy, and was sad to leave. We are definitely planning on booking with Abby again.

Many sitters in TX ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
