I work during the week as an elementary school librarian, but my schedule is very pet-friendly. During the school year, I’m available in the mornings for walks, playtime, and care, and I have my afternoons and evenings completely free to spend with your pet. I’m off on weekends and all major holidays and school breaks. Many pets are already used to relaxing at home while their parents work, so we simply follow the same routine your pet is comfortable with. I also have cameras throughout my home to keep an eye on your baby during the day, and I have the flexibility to return home quickly if any kind of emergency ever comes up.

Your pet will love our animal friendly home! We have a large, safely fenced backyard with concrete entryways and many gated rooms/spaces for your pet to feel cozy in. We have lots of toys and comfy pet beds and pups are always welcome on the furniture here. If your pup prefers a quieter, more secluded area, they can have their own room all to themselves.

A typical day
We love to take the dogs on walks and play in the backyard. When everyone is tired out we like to watch movies together as a family in the living room with the pups!

I have owned and loved animals my whole life and I have years of experience caring for animals of all kinds! I have worked in a veterinary clinic and am comfortable administering medications and caring for senior pets. My daughter and I LOVE dogs and cats and volunteer/foster at a local animal shelter. I would love the opportunity to care for your fur baby too!

Mariah did a great job taking care of my dog, Chief. We had to extend our stay twice and she was very accommodating. She sent us regular updates and photos. Chief now has a new home away from home.
Mariah is the best! Ruby always has the best time and comes home so spoiled! We never have to worry when Ruby is with Mariah.
I highly recommend Mariah to care for your pets while you are away! She was amazing with Ellie, and Ellie seemed happy and at ease as soon as she met Mariah! I greatly appreciated Mariah’s daily updates and pictures! Ellie always looked so happy in the pictures. She even gave Ellie a cute goodbye gift (a stuffy with a squeaker) that Ellie loves! Thank you, Mariah and family, for taking such great care of Ellie! 🤗🥰😘. We will definitely reach out to you next time we go out if town.
If you need a place for your dog to stay, Mariah is absolutely amazing! My pup Freya stayed the week with her and she had a blast. Mariah was very timely on her updates and pictures, and I could Freya had great time (lots of doggy smiles in her pictures).
