“I was running behind picking up Nora. Silvia was accommodating and understanding. I'm planning on using her for a weekend trip. This was a good beginning/introduction to day boarding.”

About: I cared for my German Shepherd for three years, raising him from four months old with daily training, exercise, and affection. I also fostered a six-month-old cat for six months, providing patient, loving care and enjoying every moment. I’m a college student with a flexible schedule and full availability for the next month, ready to provide reliable, and great care every day of the week! I provide attentive, loving care by following each pet’s routine, ensuring proper feeding, exercise, playtime, and comfort—treating every pet like family whether in my home or theirs. 🐾
“Calli will be my go to for day care needs! I have a crazy work schedule and was in need of some rest and her services provided just that. She is well versed in pup behaviors and trainings. We did a meet and greet with my puppy Bianca and her 3 pups…I left with a sense of trust and surety that Bianca would be in great hands. She gave me a lot of knowledge on poodles and some great training tips as well. Her pups welcomed Bianca with open paws. They are the cutest. She provided lots of pictures and videos and it was evident, Bianca had a blast! A big thank you!!”

“Charley is very accommodating with my long work hours! My dog adores him and is always excited when we arrive for drop off!! He is reliable and provides great care for my dog!”

“Mathew and his fiancé provided the best day for my fur baby! From start to finish the experience was stress free with them. I was updated throughout the entire time. They sent pictures and a video so i knew she was comfortable and settled in well. They accommodated her troubles with other dogs, had no issues taking her out and even kept up with her feeding schedule! I was nervous to trust anyone with her breed and her boundaries, but they have absolutely changed my mind! They are truly so caring and understanding of what a dog truly needs to feel safe and be happy. Words cannot express how grateful i am for them. Definitely will be letting my fur baby stay with them again the next trip we take here!”

About: I bring genuine care and patience to every pet I watch. As a parent and experienced caregiver for both dogs and cats, I understand the importance of trust, routine, and making animals feel safe and comfortable in a loving environment—not just supervised. Because I spend most of my time at home, pet care naturally fits into my daily routine. I’m able to provide consistent attention, regular potty breaks, feeding schedules, playtime, and companionship throughout the day instead of pets being left alone for long periods. I enjoy creating a calm, comfortable environment where pets can feel safe, relaxed, and part of the family. I provide pets with a safe, trustworthy, and calm environment whether I’m caring for them in my home or in a client’s home. I follow each pet’s routine closely, including feeding schedules, potty breaks, playtime, medication instructions if needed, and giving them the attention and companionship they’re used to. Because I spend most of my time at home, pets receive consistent care, supervision, and comfort throughout the day. I understand how important trust is when leaving a pet in someone else’s care, so I treat every animal with patience, kindness, and the same level of care I would want for my own family pets.
About: A little about me and my love for dogs… I’m Christian and Love God first, my second Love is dogs, and how ironic is it that God spelled backwards is dog, I believe God has given us these fur angels as one of his most awesome gifts.♥️✝️ I was in the medical field for 20+years but decided i wanted to be around fur babies instead so I started dog sitting. I can administer insulin, I have experience as my previous fur baby was diabetic & I had to give her insulin shots. I don’t have any children or anyone else living with me. I was a foster mom in the rescue group Lonestar shi tzu & Lhasa apsa, and have experience with all types of dogs. I either have my worship music on or sleep music, and the babies seem to enjoy both. I don’t have a full time job outside of doggy daycare but I do a little uber from time to time. I always get asked how I manage several dogs at a time, and I just show the pack I’m the pack leader and they follow my instructions. I’ve watched a lot of Cesar Milan.😁I have a handicap ramp in the backyard for the elders or for any that have problems with steps, the backyard is covered with outdoor green carpets so no dirt or stepping in anything. I often bake fresh sweet potatoes for the babies and they Love it. I give Lots of Love and attention, it’s like going to Grandma’s house.😁❤️ I really enjoy having all the fur angels stay with me however I will NO longer be taking puppies/dogs not potty trained, and NOT on flea prevention. I also ask when booking, and corresponding with me that you let me know one way or the other and Please be PUNCTUAL, I need drop off and pick up times ahead. If you’re booking with me or not please provide shot records that the fur baby is up to date with their shots, flea prevention, and have been spayed or neutered. I have a fenced in backyard, I let the furbabies out often. There are lots of toys in the house, I also have many cameras (inside & out)that’s a two way audio in case I have to go somewhere, I can check on them. I live in a nice mobile home, moved in after hurricane Harvey & started with almost nothing, so I’ve made improvements throughout the years like a secure gate for the porch so assurance that the babies are completely safe when it’s a nice day and we want to enjoy bird watching from the porch & a handicap ramp for the backyard, my house is puppy proof and very clean, and the entire living room specifically dedicated to the fur babies, and playtime is pretty much all the time, unless it’s naptime. I want the fur babies to be happy and comfortable. Nothing but love in my home! I also take a lot of pictures/videos because I want to capture the cute things the babies do, I’ve got a lot of pictures here to look at so you can see all of the cuteness. Please make sure your fur baby is clean(recently bathed) so we can all snuggle in the bed, I don’t want anyone to feel left out, as I’m no longer giving baths. I’m pretty sure your baby will be wanting to visit again, it seems everyone says they’re babies aren’t going to want to go home because I spoil them so much. I’m older(55 and keep to myself), it’s just me and the fur babies ❤️ If you’re like me and super protective of your babies you want the best and make sure they’re safe then it’s definitely here!❤️ I devote most of my time to all the fur babies I have stay. I give them lots of love and attention. I treat the fur babies like my own, and as if they’re my kids🥰 I have a fence for the backyard, and I go outside with the babies when they need to go potty, I want them to feel safe.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Brookside Village
Silvia was amazing. My handsome, furry prince had a great time at her humble abode, hanging out with the other futballs she cares for. Lots of zoomies, herding, and closeness (lol). We will definitely reach out to her in the future. PS: Got home, fed him, and now... he is zocked out. That, ROVER peeps, is a good day at doggie day care. I HIGHLY recommend Silvia & Emaily & Jose H for your fur-kid(s). Kind regards, H&O

Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.

Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in TX ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
