I have cared for several aging pets to brand new puppies. I work from home. I occasionally have meetings, events outside of the home. My home has a dog door for access to my fenced in backyard. I do have a way to block this if necessary but my dog uses it all the time and have had no issues with the back yard. I have a fenced in back yard, my dog is not one that typically plays much with any toys or other dogs. She is very friendly just older now and has not as much energy or interest. We do take daily leash walks. Any dog would need to be leash trained in order to walk with us.
