“Devin was great! He took great care of our girls (two young cats) and kept their boxes tidy, their bowls full, and their spirits high while we were gone for an extended vacation. He even was able to pop by last-minute when we realized our water fountain had stopped running. Definitely recommend!”

“Sydney did an amazing job taking care of our cats while we were away. She kept us updated, and went above and beyond on taking care of our cats and making sure everything went smoothly. 100% recommend Sydney, she’ll treat your pets like they’re her own!”

About: I've had cats and other small animals since I was 2! I had a dog for all of my childhood and I was her primary care taker. I've been pet sitting for friends and family for many years! And officially employed as a sitter for 3 years! I adore animals and I'll treat yours like my own! I live in a decent sized shop gun with a large fenced in back yard close to a levee and parks for walks I'm an independent esthetician who's studio is only 3 blocks away from home and I work for myself! The his makes accommodations for animals easy peasy! I also have A reliable car so popping in to feed cats/dogs and/or walking dogs multiple times a day is very fesiable I have a small fenced in back yard and live in a safe dog friendly neighborhood I have 2 cats, ones elderly and naps alot the other is young and curious but both tend to stay in their own space away from dogs when we board them! I am an independent esthetician so I set my own schedule making petsitting very easy to fit in as well as working within a 3 block radius of my home! Can put breaks in my day whenever needed! I care for pets in my home as they are my own and work close enough to pop in many times a day making it optimal for any type of pet needs
“Deana did a great job checking in on my cat over Christmas! She made sure to send “rover card” updates with pictures and a note of how it went each day. I would definitely recommend her!”

“Caitlin was super responsive and communicative, she befriended our two cats immediately and went beyond her duties as a sitter. I would highly recommend her.”
About: I have had cats for so many years of my life before we had a few dogs and then birds and hamster's added in to our life during the time of having multiple cats before we only just had cats once again since the year of October 2010 til now. I have had to clean up their mess from vomit to poop, pee, things they knocked over especially from playing or running too crazily around the house, etc. I have had to clip nails, give medication, help a cat survive by getting him through the "fading out" phase as a kitten and he and another kitten in the other litter were the only ones to survive from me trying to keep them alive. I work at a local arena that is right by the French Quarter area. I work in the Housekeeping Department, so my schedule can be pretty flexible because I don't work 5 or more days of the week by a rigid schedule of someone else telling me I have to come to work on. I schedule myself for when I am available to work. I usually only work around 1-4 days a week at best. Sometimes there is no event for one or two weeks because of a certain reason. • • • I am usually working early in the day by 9:00 AM til the afternoon like 3:00 / 4:00 PM. I work later events that have me showing up around 1:00 PM / 2:30 PM before the event starts til the end of the event around 9:00 PM from August during heavy amounts of events going on til April or May during slower amounts of events going on. • • • Between April / May til August, I am completely available to do anything you need for Boarding, House-Sitting, and Doggy Day Care because I don't really have anything going on except grocery / prescription runs for my mom and possibly me at another store, and with doctor's appointment for me and my mom. The only days I couldn't be available will be three days in usually July when I go out of town to Houma, LA for the days I will have blocked off on here as unavailable. • • • Once the basketball 🏀 season ends, I don't work again because it slows up very, very much until August once again. I use whatever little bit of money I saved during that time to focus on me and other things. Taking on taking care of other people's pets could be something I could consider doing on days and periods that I ain't working for my other job. I have cleaned up after my cats I currently have and dogs I used to have in the past by cleaning up their mess from vomit to poop, pee, things they knocked over from playing too crazily, etc. • • • I give them water that will last all day in case they want to drink during the day because of being in need of water or simply cooling themselves off from being hot. • • • If it's sweltering hot in the house I add ice to the water and possibly wipe them down with water on their body to lower their temperature outside. • • • I also feed them twice a day. • • • • I have had to clip nails, flea comb my cats and then place the fleas in soapy water to kill the fleas, give oral medication for dewormer and a medication to be added to food for a stool softener, and help two cats survive by getting them through the "fading out" phase as a kitten during their 1st week of life. He and another male kitten in a different litter were the only ones to survive from me trying to keep them alive. I fed them every 3 to 4 hours a day for hours on end until I went to sleep and then woke up and immediately did it all over again until they were getting to the point they didn't need me anymore. I washed the kittens down with Dawn Dish Detergent on a wet wash cloth and wiped them down when their mother wasn't taking care of them because they were getting tons of redness on their skin for their belly and legs. I also helped them to be able to start going to the bathroom in their own during the wash down with the soap and wash cloth time.
“I messed up and left the chain hooked on the door so Jasmin couldn't get in. Fortunately, my cats had enough food and water to last until I got home. Jasmin was very kind about my mess up and still came to visit and pet the kitten through the crack in the front door!”

“Keyona was great! She stayed with the cats for a good while, even when they wouldn't come out and visit. It was nice to get a vacation at home with my parents, knowing I didn't need to worry about anything.”
“Sarah is great, super friendly and nice. She took great care of my two cats. She is flexible with time and very easy to communicate with. Hope she will watch my boys next time too :)”

“Heather was an absolutely amazing sitter for our cat Lizzie. Lizzie has not had many sitters and she usually takes a while to warm up to new people but she was cuddling immediately because Heather has great energy and takes such good care of your pet. She's kind and caring, made sure to update us at every step along the way, took great pictures, and really showed our girl the kind of love and attention that all pets need when you're away! Everything was super easy and we would HIGHLY recommend Heather.”

“Hannah was great! My cats are a little rambunctious and like to spend the day outside and are sometimes a bit difficult to find when it comes time to come home. Hannah traversed blocks and bushes to track these little guys down to make sure they spent the night safe and sound at home! She sent lots of pictures and updates. I would definitely hire her again!”

“I had a great experience working with Russell. He was friendly, professional, and very accommodating, even agreeing to watch my cat while taking care of 4 other animals for the holiday. He clearly cares about pets, and did a great job with my cat (although my cat doesn't have any special needs). I would certainly ask him to help out again.”

“Addie is great with Willlow. Always keeping her entertained and getting any energy out of her. Also very attentive. Willow was licking her one paw and Addie let us know for us to keep watch of it.”

Sydney did an amazing job taking care of our cats while we were away. She kept us updated, and went above and beyond on taking care of our cats and making sure everything went smoothly. 100% recommend Sydney, she’ll treat your pets like they’re her own!

Enjoying our vacation was easy knowing our baby was in the very capable hands of Camille! She goes above and beyond to make sure our finicky kitty is comfortable, happy, & well taken care of. She’s incredibly professional & the communication is top tier, which is just what we look for in a pet sitter. Our baby boy isn’t always the sweetest to strangers, so we were elated to see how well he got along with Camille. She has a way with animals. We travel often and haven’t lived in the area for long, so we didn’t have any other option than Rover. Our first booking was scary, but we got sooo lucky with Camille. We still feel guilty having to leave behind our baby, but knowing he’s in more than capable hands takes away some of that stress. I would give you 10 stars if I could!

Sarah was so good with our cats. She jumped in to help us out last minute. We have three young cats, one of which is really shy but he came out for her during her visits which is always a relief. She’s very friendly and professional, and our cats liked her! We were very pleased with her service. ♥️
