Safety, trust & environment
I have no other pets (nor other time commitments besides school really) so I can dedicate all my time to your pup! I am also very diligent and remember to keep everything in check - i.e. having my checklist ready when visiting your home to pet sit and always making sure to lock up after me. Bottom line, open and easy communication with both pet and owner (as well as upholding mutual respect) can help my services be as safe as possible for everyone.
Information Sara R. would like to know about your pet
Let me know if your dog has any medications, allergies, triggers, or anything of the sort that I can keep in mind to ensure I provide your pup with the best and safest care possible.
A typical day
I love to stimulate dogs minds’. Besides releasing physical energy needs, I let them have what I call their ‘social media’ time and let them sniff around all they want (obviously making sure there’s nothing dangerous that the dog could ingest/touch). Sniffing engages their brain, reduces boredom and stress, and 10 mins of sniffing equates to 30 mins of walking! With permission, I’d take them to get pupcups at Starbucks as well. We’d also walk around the Audubon park loop (and yes we’ll stop and look at squirrels of course) among other fun things

Your pet’s new bestie!!
Pet care experience
Hi! I am a 22 year old pre veterinary student with a huge passion for animals (dogs and cats especially). I have accumulated extensive experience working and volunteering at vet clinics and shelters. I have had dogs of all kinds all throughout my childhood and care for my friend’s dogs when she’s away on break. I understand the patience and respect that is needed with animals, especially ones you’re newly meeting.
Reviews

Sara was so attentive and gave the absolute best care to our cat. I would 1000% recommend her to anyone looking for an incredibly kind and accommodating sitter.

Sara was very proactive with taking care of the pets and house during her daily check-ins. She provided great pictures and was very communicative. I would definitely hire her again.
I had a great experience Sara. She was punctual and communicated really well, so I always knew what was going on. Also, she took amazing photos like seriously, the pictures were so good I couldn’t believe it. My dog absolutely loved her and now she’s basically my dog’s new best friend. I’d definitely recommend her to anyone looking for someone reliable, friendly, and genuinely good with dogs.

Sara was awesome. Great communication the entire time and super reliable, especially on short notice. She took great care of my Luna, sent detailed updates, and clearly put a lot of attention into each walk. I felt completely at ease knowing Luna was in good hands. Would absolutely book with her again, highly recommend! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
