I’d love to care for your fur baby!
I’ve been an animal lover and caregiver since I could crawl to Bob, our family cat. It’s such a gift to create a bond with an animal and it takes time, patience and trust. Prices are always flexible especially with multiple fur babies! We can work together! I learned early on that the root of my job as a house sitter is well being and safety for both puppies and cats alike. I’ve found that house sitting is the best way to maintain your fur babies daily routine, this consistency is invaluable when caring for animals especially while their human is away. I take great pride that I know the service I’m providing is peace of mind for the humans of the house while caring for all four legged family members. My goal is to allow you to truly be away and without worry only smiles with the cute photos and anecdotes. And I can’t wait to provide this service for you! Did you know there are farms near Detroit? Well you betcha! Some of my early memories are caring for my pond friends and barn cats and I still in diapers, lol. My background in nursing and twenty years in the New Orleans service Industry has given me the best training for all Rover work. It allows me to provide critical care for your fluffy friends all while ensuring all of your needs are met while away. Nothing is too big or small, I enjoy expanding my realm of care and tasks. Quite honestly, I live to care, care for ALL beings and I feel so grateful to do this full time. This means I’m available for whatever your fur baby may need. I have experience administering meds, providing palliative care, I’m able to quickly assess what is needed and provide the appropriate care. This dynamic approach has lead me to walking on all fours while trying to gain the trust of a nervous pup, hand feeding more than one sick pup and riding out hurricanes and even a couple evacuations. Honesty, whatever is needed, I’m honored and happy to help in anyway possible all with love, respect and ‘’joie de vivre’ success for me starts with a good attitude always! I’ve found that with pure joy from within, a lot of preparedness and adaptability one can do anything! Long story long, my life experience in medicine, the service industry and business degree from Loyola makes me uniquely qualified and so beyond happy to care for your fur babies at any stage and No matter what natural disaster is around the corner! Pups, cats, birds, literally what have you, I promise I will care for each and every fur being as if they are my own. Whether it be administering medication or the full attention to any special needs of your fur baby and intuitively understanding who and what all parties involved need to find peace and feel loved until you return 💜💕💜 I can’t wait to meet your loved ones!

goal is to allow you to remove any stress involved with leaving a loved furball at home. I’ve heard this a lot recently and it’s a source of pride for me. Be where you are and we’ll be happy and ready at your home, whenever you return. Or if something should happen I will make sure they are given care until you return. an seemless transition while y’all are away. I just want you and your fur babies to be happy and comfortable at all times. This means careful (but not invasive) study of daily routines, personalized quirks and mirroring schedules all found to be vital to a successful bond and stay! I may have to walk or check-in on other fur babies but I’m rarely gone for more than two hours at a time. I believe in the power of walks! They are obligatory for well being, mindset and energy level. I could also walk your cat as well! I’m currently walking a two dogs and a cat each morning and it’s my favorite thing! Not fast and just around the block but now this cat sleeps on my head. Sooo you must always respect cats. I believe in tending to the unique quirks that really create a happy stay. As with any job, I take theresponsibility for caring for your fur baby very seriously. This means cleaning, playing, walking, adoring 😻Overall, a general assessment of good health at all times. My favorite thing to hear from an owner is that their fur-ball looks so happy and loved upon their return! Also, that the house looks amazing! Yay!

Just amazing!! Laura was so great I felt so at ease knowing my baby was with her!! Daisy pooped for her multiple times which a big deal in our household! Loved how sweet she was with her and that she didn’t mind Daisy’s little quirks. Will use her again in a heart beat ! My approval but most importantly Daisy’s approval! Great communication as well! Loved how close she was to my house too! Could not have asked for anything better !
Laura took amazing care of Roxy and went above and beyond to make sure she was happy and comfortable. I got great updates with photos, and I could tell Roxy was loved like family. I’ll definitely book with her again!
Laura knows how important it is to care for our 20 year old dog. We love her love and affection for our elderly pup. Cookie is in fantastic care whilst we are away, and we can rest assure when Laura is with her.
Laura is a shining star from above that has graced us with her lovely presence to tend to our 20 year old pup’s needs. We breathe a serene sigh of relief knowing Laura will be in our home attending to our dogs wants/needs. She is very delicate towards our pup and treats our home with the utmost care. After getting to know her, we feel like she is a dear friend. We rely on her to take care of our number one dog in our lives. She is just stellar.

Schedule
As I mentioned above, I am so grateful to be able to do this full time! This means I’m available for all of your household’s needs. I am always by my phone so communication is rapid and just helps to create peace of mind which is my goal whenever I care for fur families. Why I prefer to house sit, a memoir, just kidding but this could use an edit or five. My apologies. Initially, I started Rover boarding in my home but quickly realized the unfamiliarity of quite literally everything was causing more stress for all the precious furballs and the best approach is to provide care in their environment. And hey! Traveling can be stressful, why not control what you can? I have found it instantly helps put your loved ones at ease and better maintains the unique daily routine which maintaining is so vital to their mental health. There are intrinsic benefits to this approach as well! Your home is safe and also being cared for! House sitting allows for other areas of care needed as well. I’m happy to water plants, maintain pools, manage any service visits that may happen needed. Recently worked through the hurricane and was happy to prep the house, move cars to safer ground. I’m really providing three services and my ultimate goal is to cultivate a space where ALL parties are happy and relaxed and the only worry is what is for dinner!
