7. Sage D.
“Sage is a great pet sitter. He is very active, organized, and responsible. He comes from a family of animal lovers, and loves the outdoors. Leaving your pet with Sage would be a good option because he will make sure that they get the exercise and attention that they need.”
8. Camille G.
“Such a great dog walker! She’s very communicative, responds quickly, and took great care of our dogs, including taking lots of pictures and thorough notes. We really appreciated her, especially as she took care of our dogs on short notice, and will definitely hire again.”
9. Lindsey T.
“Lindsey is awesome. First off, she responded to my request late at night while I was out of town and having a dog emergency. And second, she knows dog behavior. She recognized my dogs were having stranger danger immediately upon arrival. They had never had a walker they hadn't met. She sat with them and calmed them down and when my puppy fell over on a walk, which is behavior I had observed a few days before, she actually researched it. Third, she is very flexible with her schedule which is great at this time of year in New Orleans since you never know if there will be a storm, flood or heat advisory at your scheduled walk time. She even rescheduled a whole day with me due to flooding. hands down the best!”
10. Devin V.
“Devin was amazing! He watched my son’s two dogs for 3 days while he was out of town for a family event They are strong energetic dogs, a pit Bull and a pit/catahoula mix, and they loved Devin. He kept us informed, took great pictures, long walks and was extremely reliable and trustworthy. We would definitely use Devin again and highly recommend him. It’s obvious he loves dogs and knows how to handle them.”
11. Laura B.
“Laura was amazing with my anxious boy! She was patient, gentle, encouraging and flexible. She adjusts her approach entirely based on the personality and mood of the dog she works with, and consequently my dog is in love with her!”

About: I’ve loved animals for as long as I can remember. Growing up, my home was always full of life with cats, dogs, turtles, crabs, and even a cockatiel, which taught me how to care for all kinds of pets. Now, I have my own Standard Poodle who’s my world, and I also foster kittens from time to time, so I know how to handle pets with different needs and personalities. I regularly watch my grandmother’s three dogs when she’s out of town and have cared for larger breeds like Rottweilers, so I’m comfortable with pets of all sizes and temperaments. I’ll treat your pet like they’re part of my own family—making sure they’re happy, loved, and well cared for while you’re away. work from home with a very flexible schedule, which means I can give your pets the attention and care they deserve, whether it’s cuddles, playtime, or sticking to a specific routine. At my home, your pet will enjoy a cozy environment and a fully fenced yard for safe outdoor play. I follow their routines to help them feel comfortable and at ease. In your home, I stick to your pet’s schedule, provide lots of love and attention, and keep your space tidy.
13. Brittany M.
“Brittany came and met me and Midnight and I was very impressed with her knowledge of dogs . She was very easy to talk to and did great with Midnight!”
14. Zia M.
“I trusted Zia with my pups Jax and Coco when I went on vacation to Walt Disney World. Jax and Coco each have their own schedules and intermittent medications. Though, no easy task, Zia became familiar with the schedules and exceeded my wishes for any dogsitter. What truly completed my happiest place on earth experience were the periodic selfies I received from Zia and joyful pair of pups.”
15. Kristin D.
“Kristin has been caring for my dogs for almost two years. My Pitt gets too anxious when she's put in at the Kennel, so having her be able to stay in her own home with an attentive sitter is a game changer for her. Kristin is professional, responsible, and from the photos I get, it seems my dogs are having fun! Would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable pet sitter! ”
16. Ross B.
“I cannot begin to describe how incredible Ross is. Last year my wife and I took a vacation and hurricane Ida unexpectedly hit during our time out of New Orleans. Ross was watching our Golden Retriever during our vacation and not only stayed with him but he took care our house, removed a tree that fell in our backyard, and on top of all of it, drove our dog to Dallas from New Orleans just so we could be reunited with him after a few stressful days worrying about both of their safety. Every time ross watches our dog, the dog gets so excited to see him. You will not have a better dog lover than ross. Phenomenal at his job and an even better human being. Thanks, Ross!”

About: I understand that your pets are more than pets—they are your furbabies and integral members of your family. I grew up with dogs and appreciate the love and laughter they bring to a home. I have two dogs of my own and will care for your pups as if they were mine. Regarding my experience as a pet parent, I have taken dogs to training with Ann Becnel Companion Dogs, learning about positive reinforcement methods and reading body language. I also have experience caring for senior dogs, as last year I lost my heart dog to kidney disease. During his last months, I learned how to administer subcutaneous fluids at home, a special skill that I can bring to the table if needed. I can also give medications by mouth and change bandages for pups that may have an injury. As a recent Ph.D graduate from Tulane University, I am currently looking for jobs within my field and, in the meantime, other ways to earn extra income. That being said, my schedule is highly flexible. As a dog walker or daytime sitter, I will always be sure to follow your instructions. On walks, your pet will be kept on a leash, and I recommend that I be allowed to carry pepper spray in case of aggressive, off-leash dogs. Providing in-home daycare, I will ensure your pet gets all the cuddles they want and personal space if that's more of what your pet needs. Just know that I will do my best to make your pet feel as comfortable as possible in my presence and put your mind at ease; I'm happy to give frequent updates and send pictures.

“Allington is my dog's favorite person. Talullah gets more excited to see them after one day than me after i've been gone for a week. I used to worry about taking flights and long trips, but with Allington's diligent caretaking and the amount of love that they bring to my home, I have complete peace of mind. I can't recommend Allington highly enough; they're helpful, loving, communicative, and responsible. everything a pawrent could ask for!”
