The his makes accommodations for animals easy peasy! I also have A reliable car so popping in to feed cats/dogs and/or walking dogs multiple times a day is very fesiable I have a small fenced in back yard and live in a safe dog friendly neighborhood I have 2 cats, ones elderly and naps alot the other is young and curious but both tend to stay in their own space away from dogs when we board them! About: For as long as I can remember, I have loved being around and taking care of animals. I have always grown up with cats and as a teenager in high school, volunteered at a local cat clinic in my hometown taking care of the resident kitties, as well as any patients coming in. When I moved, I decided I no longer wanted to be a veterinarian but still loved animals with all my heart. I have a rabbit as well (rover only allows for me to input dogs and cats) as well as my two cats which is why I am unable to provide care in my own apartment. My rabbit is six years old and a whopping 2lbs, but don’t worry, she’s a mini holland lop and runs the house. As of now, I help my friends when they are out of town with their animals, as it requires me to go over twice a day and do separate feedings due to dietary needs. Included photos of my animals as well as an ex-roommates (who’s cat was essentially mine), as well as other cats I have taken care of and my landlords outdoor cats who I have befriended (they have brought me gifts before (while well intentioned, it was not fun seeing a 🐀 on my porch at 8am in the NOLA heat 😭). I am currently a student at Tulane University and I work a very casual part time job that allows me with a lot of flexibility. I am done with my day usually no later than 5pm and free most weekends, with the exception of Saturdays, typically from 10am-3pm. Not applicable at this time, unable to provide the service of hosting an animal at my apartment due to lease as well as my two cats.
About: I have always had dogs in my life. Currently I am home to 3 medium sized pups. I have owned, rescued, and fostered dogs. I have also volunteered time at the animal shelter walking the dogs, and have participated in several pet adoption days. I own three dogs. I work in outside sales. My office is my home. Except for occasional face to face meetings, I am home most of the day. I am also physically fit and enjoy dog walks around my neighborhood, levee, and park. I am home to three amazing pups. I have a fenced in yard with plenty of room for dogs to run. We also live by the levee which dogs really enjoy walking along. My dogs are my children and are kept indoors. They are allowed on our furniture, which is kept clean with covers and regular cleaning. They have a scheduled feeding time twice a day. I do have two kennels 3 & 4 feet high that can be placed indoors or outdoors, if need be. I also have small kennels for tiny furry friends that stay with us, or for transportation.
About: I have had cats for so many years of my life before we had a few dogs and then birds and hamster's added in to our life during the time of having multiple cats before we only just had cats once again since the year of October 2010 til now. I have had to clean up their mess from vomit to poop, pee, things they knocked over especially from playing or running too crazily around the house, etc. I have had to clip nails, give medication, help a cat survive by getting him through the "fading out" phase as a kitten and he and another kitten in the other litter were the only ones to survive from me trying to keep them alive. I work at a local arena that is right by the French Quarter area. I work in the Housekeeping Department, so my schedule can be pretty flexible because I don't work 5 or more days of the week by a rigid schedule of someone else telling me I have to come to work on. I schedule myself for when I am available to work. I usually only work around 1-4 days a week at best. Sometimes there is no event for one or two weeks because of a certain reason. • • • I am usually working early in the day by 9:00 AM til the afternoon like 3:00 / 4:00 PM. I work later events that have me showing up around 1:00 PM / 2:30 PM before the event starts til the end of the event around 9:00 PM from August during heavy amounts of events going on til April or May during slower amounts of events going on. • • • Between April / May til August, I am completely available to do anything you need for Boarding, House-Sitting, and Doggy Day Care because I don't really have anything going on except grocery / prescription runs for my mom and possibly me at another store, and with doctor's appointment for me and my mom. The only days I couldn't be available will be three days in usually July when I go out of town to Houma, LA for the days I will have blocked off on here as unavailable. • • • Once the basketball 🏀 season ends, I don't work again because it slows up very, very much until August once again. I use whatever little bit of money I saved during that time to focus on me and other things. Taking on taking care of other people's pets could be something I could consider doing on days and periods that I ain't working for my other job. I have cleaned up after my cats I currently have and dogs I used to have in the past by cleaning up their mess from vomit to poop, pee, things they knocked over from playing too crazily, etc. • • • I give them water that will last all day in case they want to drink during the day because of being in need of water or simply cooling themselves off from being hot. • • • If it's sweltering hot in the house I add ice to the water and possibly wipe them down with water on their body to lower their temperature outside. • • • I also feed them twice a day. • • • • I have had to clip nails, flea comb my cats and then place the fleas in soapy water to kill the fleas, give oral medication for dewormer and a medication to be added to food for a stool softener, and help two cats survive by getting them through the "fading out" phase as a kitten during their 1st week of life. He and another male kitten in a different litter were the only ones to survive from me trying to keep them alive. I fed them every 3 to 4 hours a day for hours on end until I went to sleep and then woke up and immediately did it all over again until they were getting to the point they didn't need me anymore. I washed the kittens down with Dawn Dish Detergent on a wet wash cloth and wiped them down when their mother wasn't taking care of them because they were getting tons of redness on their skin for their belly and legs. I also helped them to be able to start going to the bathroom in their own during the wash down with the soap and wash cloth time.

“Deana was fantastic. She showed up on time, had a bubbly and friendly personality, was very communicative and efficient and warm with the pups. One of my dogs is really smart and judgmental and she immediately rolled on her back for pets and scratches and wagged her tail as soon as Deana walked up (and was a total stranger to her). I highly recommend her and we will use her again!”

About: Hi! I’ve had dogs my whole life and have loved working with Rover doing boarding, walking, and sitting. My fiancé and I live in a split-level home with a fenced backyard—plenty of space for playtime and lounging. We don’t have pets right now or kids, so your pup gets all the love and attention! One of us is always home (my fiancé works remotely), and we’re comfortable with dogs of all sizes and personalities. We live in a quiet, walk-friendly neighborhood, and we love staying active with our furry guests. Your dog will be treated like family—with lots of snuggles, playtime, and regular updates for you. Can’t wait to meet your pup! I'm a grad student who's home most of the time, and my fiancé works remotely, so your pet will always have company. I provide daily walks, plenty of attention, and bathroom breaks as often as needed. Caring for animals is a top priority in our routine, and your pet will be treated like family! I believe all living things deserve kindness and respect, and I’ll go above and beyond to make sure every pet in my care feels happy and comfortable. I’m committed to following all food, medication, and routine needs exactly as requested to keep your pet feeling safe and at home—whether they're staying with me or I’m coming to you.

About: I have had a family pet for 13 years that i’ve helped take care of. Around 2017 I got my own dog that i take care of, while both are small dogs I have also taken care of of big dogs. I have watched around 5 big dogs (3 are recurring). I am currently unemployed and available everyday of the week. I am also available anytime during the day/evening. I am a good last minute pet sitter. I will not watch any pets at my home because I have 2 cats and 1 dog that currently live there. I will gladly watch pets at their home. I also will NOT walk any pets unless they are on a leash, pet backpack, stroller, etc
About: I've had pets my entire life. I'm retired now and travel extensively for part of the year, so I'm unable to have pets of my own and thought this would be a great way to keep busy while I am in town. I have a doggy door and a large, gated backyard for games of fetch or hide and seek. I will provide a safe, loving home while you are away or drop-in if you so choose. When I'm in NOLA, I often work part-time from home. I'm retired so you could call me a homebody, and I'm often found working in my garden. In the fourth quarter of the year, I do travel until thanksgiving but will keep my calendar here updated. I am relatively flexible with scheduling. My son recently moved and took his Boston Terrier with him, so there are no longer any pets in my home. I have a large, fenced yard perfect for games of hide-and-seek or fetch, and I'm often in the back as well working on my garden. I do not have any plants that would present a danger. I love to take long, daily walks on the levee, which is only two blocks away...and would love to bring your pet along! I often have family visit, who also love pets.
“Devin was amazing! He watched my son’s two dogs for 3 days while he was out of town for a family event They are strong energetic dogs, a pit Bull and a pit/catahoula mix, and they loved Devin. He kept us informed, took great pictures, long walks and was extremely reliable and trustworthy. We would definitely use Devin again and highly recommend him. It’s obvious he loves dogs and knows how to handle them.”

“Darin is a great friend to animals and goes at their speed which is important for one of our girls who is unsure of everything. He is also communicative and reliable. Would absolutely recommend!”

Robin is caring and detail oriented. The dogs love her and so do we. And she always sends us the best pictures of their walks. We have used Robin to House sit as well as occasional walks when we are out of town for the day. I would happily recommend Robin to take care of your dogs!
