About: Since I was 7 years old, my family has loved two golden retrievers in our home in a town of Los Angeles. Rocky, our hyper and enthusiastic 1st one, was with us since I was 5 years old, and Spencer, the 2nd one I took care of, was a sweet senior dog who stayed in my family home until 2022 when he passed. My close friends and neighbors have relied on our family as the designated pet sitters for them because we love and respect dogs so much! We always think of our house as a mini dog-hotel during those times. With these experiences growing up, Rover has become the perfect place for me to help others with caring for their dogs in New Orleans. I am happy to walk/feed/bathe your pets whenever you request it too! I am currently studying for an exam for medical school. I would be happy to take study breaks as an opportunity for myself AND your pup to get some sunshine. I will be present with the dogs and take care of them to make sure your pups are happy. I like to keep my eye on dogs I’ve dogsat before, and I will be in contact if there’s anything unusual going on. I’ve let my dogs roam about the house, but if you prefer to keep them in an enclosed area, please let me know! Taking them for frequent walks or to the park is always nice too!

About: I’ve been around and learned to manage dogs since i was a kid. I grew up with 2 dogs and a cat and always had to separate the 2. After my childhood dog passed i had to train a new puppy and he’s now 6 years old. He knows how to sit and he can also speak. (Sometimes we hold little “conversations”) Before i go to class i feed my dog then whenever im done i feed again then before i go to sleep i feed her for a final time. I walk her 2 times a day in the evening and before going to sleep. I provide a safe, loving, and structured environment while following each pet’s normal routine. Whether in my home or a client’s home, I stick to feeding schedules, exercise needs, and any special instructions, and I keep owners updated for peace of mind.

About: I love caring for cats and keeping them company. I have house/cat sitted in New York, San Juan, Santo Domingo, Rome, Copenhagen and Los Angeles. I am a freelance musician and I currently work part time doing deliveries mostly at night so my schedule is flexible to accommodate any needs. About: Hello, I’m so excited to have you stumble upon my account!! My name is Montanna and I’ve lived in Louisiana my whole life. From Gonzales, to Denham Springs, to Baton Rouge, and now in Uptown. I’m 27 years old and graduated from LSU back in 2021 with a degree in Nutrition. My family has ALWAYS had animals whether it be 14 kittens at once! A couple bunnies, or just a classic family dog. From a very young age I've always felt like animals were my friends just as people were. I love to make a strong connection with pets where I know they know they can trust me. I go on long walks everyday anyway (10-15k steps) and love getting sunshine. I also spend most of my other time in the house watching movies and sewing on my sewing machine and have plenty of time to give care and attention to someone’s sweet fur baby. I spend most of my time at home or out on a walk and would love to help out pet lovers with their busy schedules while mine is rather free. Hanging with a furry friend would be just as beneficial for me while I’m home needing company just as much as them. I am only busy Tuesday evening to Thursday evening so Thursday night to Tuesday afternoon I am free and open for bookings! Me and my cat Charlie are ready to provide a safe space to hangout. For dogs, I love right next to parks and have plenty of walking areas right around my home. I will ask many questions and follow your exact pets needs in my home as well as yours. About: I have taken care of many kinds of dogs. Mostly muts but some Australian shepherds, mini poodles, several senior dogs. I’m used to intense walks with hyperactive dogs, but I do prefer a leisurely stroll. I frequently volunteer at ARNO, so I'm not afraid of the messy stuff! I work full time so I am unable to care for animals for around 8 hours of Sunday-Thursday and sometimes Friday. But I usually have mornings off and can spend time with animals then. I'm retired now and travel extensively for part of the year, so I'm unable to have pets of my own and thought this would be a great way to keep busy while I am in town. I have a doggy door and a large, gated backyard for games of fetch or hide and seek. I will provide a safe, loving home while you are away or drop-in if you so choose. My son recently moved and took his Boston Terrier with him, so there are no longer any pets in my home. I have a large, fenced yard perfect for games of hide-and-seek or fetch, and I'm often in the back as well working on my garden. I do not have any plants that would present a danger. I love to take long, daily walks on the levee, which is only two blocks away...and would love to bring your pet along! I often have family visit, who also love pets.

They are allowed on our furniture, which is kept clean with covers and regular cleaning. They have a scheduled feeding time twice a day. I do have two kennels 3 & 4 feet high that can be placed indoors or outdoors, if need be. I also have small kennels for tiny furry friends that stay with us, or for transportation.

About: Hello there! My name is Anika and I used to be a pet caregiver on Rover a while ago when I was going through college, but decided to reactivate my account to come back on board! A little bit about myself... I received my Master's Degree from LSU and have been working in my career field for a few years now, but I still very much enjoy spending time with animals and thought that continuing with Rover was a great way to be able to spend time with animals while making an extra income on the side! I am currently working at a local hospital. Therefore, although I am newly back on Rover, I have been with Rover in the past. I am also a go-to foster and volunteer for several local rescue groups, so I have experience with all types of animals (mainly cats and dogs) and welcome all. I also often help train dogs for animal rescue organizations to get them ready for their new loving forever homes. I have also grown up with animals my whole life and my sweet beloved senior dog recently passed away; my "soul dog" as some may say. I had him for a little over 13 amazing years. However, being able to work with and volunteer with animals has really been great, which is why I definitely wanted to continue with Rover again. You can rest assure that when you leave your beloved fur babies with me that they are in great hands. I am a safe and responsible person. I am and always have been an all-around animal-lover. If your dog is a couch potato, that's fine... we can curl up and watch a movie on the couch together with some belly rubs! If your dog is more high-energy, that's fine... we can go for walks, jogs, play fetch in the yard, play with toys and more! The same goes for cats, bunnies and other types of animals; I can meet the pet client where they are at based on their personality.
