About: I’ve been around and learned to manage dogs since i was a kid. I grew up with 2 dogs and a cat and always had to separate the 2. After my childhood dog passed i had to train a new puppy and he’s now 6 years old. He knows how to sit and he can also speak. (Sometimes we hold little “conversations”) Before i go to class i feed my dog then whenever im done i feed again then before i go to sleep i feed her for a final time. I walk her 2 times a day in the evening and before going to sleep. I provide a safe, loving, and structured environment while following each pet’s normal routine. Whether in my home or a client’s home, I stick to feeding schedules, exercise needs, and any special instructions, and I keep owners updated for peace of mind.

About: Caring for pets since I was little, I have cared for many pets from cats to miniature dogs I am home often so I can take your baby out many times during the day. I’m available over night. I can take your dogs for unlimited walks. I’m close to many trail and areas with lots of grass. I am able to feed their normal schedule. Medium size apartment and I have 2 dog parks near my place within two to three feet I’m available for any type of pets hyper or chill.

About: I have had pets my whole life. Also, I prefer dogs but I have a couple years of experience helping out with my sister’s cats. I currently work remotely. So, I can be wherever you need me on any given day or time. I don’t normally work on weekends. I live with my girlfriend and her Boston Terrier ‘Haley’. I’m a full-time, stay-at-home writer, so I have plenty of time and flexibility to give your fur baby lots of attention, playtime, walks, and cuddles throughout the day. Pet care fits naturally into my routine, and I love having a furry companion join me for my morning and evening walks. Your pet’s comfort and safety are always my priority. I only board pets from one household at a time, so your fur baby gets plenty of individual attention and a calm, secure environment without unfamiliar pets coming and going. I have a large fenced-in yard for supervised outdoor time, and I’m also walking distance from a beautiful large park that’s perfect for longer walks and exploring. I have a dog crate available for crate-trained pups, and I’m happy to follow your usual feeding, walking, sleeping, and household routines so your pet feels as comfortable and at home as possible while you’re away.

About: What sets me apart is that I don’t simply “check in” on your fur babies; I genuinely enjoy spending time with them and getting to know their individual personalities, routines, and needs. I have years of experience caring for both dogs and cats, including regular and extended care while their families travel. For the past six years, I’ve been consistently trusted to care for pets when Dad and Mom go away on frequent trips, including stays of more than 30 days. I’m comfortable administering medications, staying at your residence, accommodating specific dietary needs and feeding schedules, maintaining established routines, regular walks and exercise, litter care, playtime, and, of course, plenty of companionship and affection. And please, give me ALL the instructions! You can leave me a legitimate PowerPoint presentation about your baby, and I will happily follow it to a T. 😂 I know every pet has their own routine, favorite things, quirks, boundaries, and very specific ways they like things done. (I’m a Virgo, so I know meticulous details. 😂) I’d much rather know every little detail so I can keep their world as familiar and comfortable as possible while you’re away. I will also send you pictures and updates to provide you with peace of mind. I’m patient with shy or cautious animals, attentive to changes in behavior, and happy to adapt to different personalities, ages, and energy levels. Whether your baby needs long walks and playtime, is a workout nut (to keep me in shape, too 😂), needs extra attention, wants a cuddle buddy, or needs someone who understands that affection happens strictly on THEIR terms, I’ll follow their lead. Most importantly, I understand that you’re trusting me with a member of your family and, often, your home as well. I take that responsibility seriously. We spend most of the day together, so they are not alone for long periods of time if I have to run off to check on another baby. I’m happy to stay overnight and spend quality time with your pets rather than simply popping in and out if you prefer. About: I have had cats for so many years of my life before having a few dogs and then birds and hamster's added in to our life during the time of having multiple cats. We only have cats now since the year of October 2010 til current times. I'm passionate about working with animals and providing attentive care. I have hands-on experience caring for animals in home settings, including feeding, cleaning, and monitoring their well-being. Skilled at safely handling dogs and cats of all sizes and temperaments, experienced in cleaning kennels, feeding animals, monitoring their health, able to follow instructions for animal care routines and respond quickly to any issues. I work at a local arena that is near the French Quarter area. I work in the Housekeeping Department, so my schedule can be pretty flexible because I don't work 5 or more days of the week by a rigid schedule of someone else telling me I have to come to work on. I schedule myself for when I am available to work. I usually only work around 1-4 days a week at best. Sometimes there is no event for one or two weeks because of a certain reason. • I am usually working early in the day by 9:00 AM til the afternoon like 3:00 / 4:00 PM. I work later events that have me showing up around 1:00 PM / 2:30 PM before the event starts til the end of the event around 9:00 PM from August during heavy amounts of events going on til April or May during slower amounts of events going on. • Between April / May til August, I am completely available to do anything you need for Boarding, House-Sitting, and Doggy Day Care because I don't really have anything going on except grocery / prescription runs for my mom and possibly me at another store, and with doctor's appointment for me and my mom. **Availability & Visit Times - Westbank** I offer midday drop-in visits usually between 12:00 PM - 3:00 PM daily. This window lets me give each pet full, unrushed attention for feeding, litter, play, and cuddles. If you need a specific time within that window, just ask! About: I’ve taken care of 2 Belgian Malinois for 5 years where I’ve had to administer medication, train, switch up diet planning, and do basic grooming. I currently own a betta fish and red eared slider turtle due to renting restrictions. I currently work part time at 2 different jobs, however I can make my own schedule at both. I’m also a full time RN student, but we do have summer breaks. My schedule does fluctuate, however I am usually available consistently early mornings and in the evening time every day. My schedule will reflect when I am available. About: Hi! I have had dogs and cats for as long as I can remember. My father has been an K-9 offices for years, so I have been around and handled powerful, athletic dogs all my life. I have always had big dogs, and have taken care of neighbor’s dogs as a side job when I was in high school. I am now in school to be a Veterinary Technician and own a pit bull and a tripod cat! I can give your pet a wonderful stay wether they are active or more of a couch potato. I can’t wait to meet your babies. I am currently working full time, but I do have a set schedule so it will be easy for me to keep a steady schedule with clients. I am available all day on Tuesdays and Saturdays, while being able to board on Wednesday and Friday. I have a fenced in yard and a pit bull who is very very friendly and loves all types of dogs, cats, and people. They will have tons of toys to play with and are allowed on furniture to relax with me if they choose.

About: I have have been caring of all types of animals since I was 7+ years old. I have taken care of new born puppies, kittens, raccoons and reptiles of all types throughout my life and I love it!! If I could cuddle a gator I would!!! I have also done whelping services for many family members. I have done a lot of fostering and bottle feeding both puppies and kittens. I’m currently working only for Rover. So I can dedicate all my time to your fur baby and his/her needs and the loving care and schedule you want for them. However I am instructed to. I am there to make you and your pet comfortable while away. It can be stressful for pet and pet parents when they are not together. I try to keep your pets schedule as similar to what they are used to with you. Feeding/ walking/ playing/ sleeping/ waking up will all be as close to their normal schedule as possible. About: Hello there! My name is Anika and I used to be a pet caregiver on Rover a while ago when I was going through college, but decided to reactivate my account to come back on board! A little bit about myself... I received my Master's Degree from LSU and have been working in my career field for a few years now, but I still very much enjoy spending time with animals and thought that continuing with Rover was a great way to be able to spend time with animals while making an extra income on the side! Therefore, although I am newly back on Rover, I have been with Rover in the past. I am also a go-to foster and volunteer for several local rescue groups, so I have experience with all types of animals (mainly cats and dogs) and welcome all. I have also grown up with animals my whole life and my sweet beloved senior dog recently passed away; my "soul dog" as some may say. I had him for a little over 13 amazing years. However, being able to work with and volunteer with animals has really been great, which is why I definitely wanted to continue with Rover again. I am also accepting new customers and now offering lower rates as well! You can rest assure that when you leave your beloved fur babies with me that they are in great hands. I am a Rover sitter and use Rover for sitters for my own pets when I’m out of town, so I personally understand the significance of trusting a sitter with your animals.
