“We are so thankful for Jon! He did an INCREDIBLE job watching our pack of 4 poms over our wedding weekend! We have never used Rover before or left our dogs overnight and were pretty nervous. We even got on a call with Jon prior to booking and he was more than willing to answer our millions of questions. He was flexible with drop off and pick up times (we drove into NOLA from STL) and was so patient with my "helicopter parent" husband that wanted to set up their beds himself and was so anxious to leave them. Jon's house is also on a side street that made drop off really easy. We received multiple updates and the cutest photos the whole weekend! Our pack definitely had a great time. They loved the backyard! We have a senior dog with mobility issues that he was very careful with, and another pom with some hearing and vision loss and he was wonderful with both. It was very obvious that Jon loves dogs and took care of our fur babies like they were his own! When we picked the pups up he had everything packed up which was a huge time saver since we were driving back home. He had even ran one of our blankets through the dryer so they would have a warm spot to lay since the weather had gotten cold that morning! It is so difficult to trust someone else with your animals, and we were lucky to find such a caring and thoughtful Rover. About: I have loved and cared for dogs and cats for over 35 years. Although I've been away from Rover for a while, I'm eager to resume pet care. I have a passion for making sure your pet gets the best TLC possible in any given situation. I've had dogs, cats, and others in home and farm/ranch settings over the years. Your pets are family to you and will be treated like family by me. I can take excellent care of them and make sure they stay happy while in my care. I had over 20 adoptions of dogs alone, with two aggressive dogs changed to happy puppies. I currently own a dog who is absolutely great I’m a dog lover. About: I’ve worked in the pet industry for several years now. I am a manager at a doggy daycare/boarding facility/grooming salon. I am knowledgeable about doggy behavior and body language. I can administer medication, with the exception of epidermal/needle syringes. I love being around dogs and getting to know their quirks and personalities. I’d be honored to take care of your pups! I am currently working full time and am available usually betweem 11am and noon on my lunch break. I am usually off of work by 2pm. I am able to host pets at my home as long as they do not have extreme cat aggression. Regardless I will limit interactions between your pet and my cat. About: I’ve been around and learned to manage dogs since i was a kid. I grew up with 2 dogs and a cat and always had to separate the 2. After my childhood dog passed i had to train a new puppy and he’s now 6 years old. He knows how to sit and he can also speak. (Sometimes we hold little “conversations”) Before i go to class i feed my dog then whenever im done i feed again then before i go to sleep i feed her for a final time. I walk her 2 times a day in the evening and before going to sleep. I provide a safe, loving, and structured environment while following each pet’s normal routine. There is a 1 year old Shih Tzu/Yorkie mix now living here as well, under the care of someone else that’s not me, however she is very rambunctious with other dogs. I do not mind walking them around the neighborhood. In my family, we treat our dogs like they are humans and they are like our children!

“We are so thankful for Jon! He did an INCREDIBLE job watching our pack of 4 poms over our wedding weekend! We have never used Rover before or left our dogs overnight and were pretty nervous. We even got on a call with Jon prior to booking and he was more than willing to answer our millions of questions. He was flexible with drop off and pick up times (we drove into NOLA from STL) and was so patient with my "helicopter parent" husband that wanted to set up their beds himself and was so anxious to leave them. Jon's house is also on a side street that made drop off really easy. We received multiple updates and the cutest photos the whole weekend! Our pack definitely had a great time. They loved the backyard! We have a senior dog with mobility issues that he was very careful with, and another pom with some hearing and vision loss and he was wonderful with both. It was very obvious that Jon loves dogs and took care of our fur babies like they were his own! When we picked the pups up he had everything packed up which was a huge time saver since we were driving back home. He had even ran one of our blankets through the dryer so they would have a warm spot to lay since the weather had gotten cold that morning!
