“Kate went above and beyond with our two cats that we had to leave for an extended amount of time. We received multiple updates and fun photos each visit. It gave us such peace of mind to know they were safe and being well taken care of. She even updated us on weather conditions and helped prepare our home for an upcoming storm when we couldn’t return home in time. We will definitely be rebooking Kate in the future and know our two boys will be very excited to see us go!”

About: I love dogs, and have taken good care of friends and family's dogs as well as my own, including bathing feeding and walking them. I also have experience caring for cats, proper litterbox cleaning as well as feeding and social attention. Caring for animals is a great joy to me. My work schedule currently is very flexible and I have a lot of open time, so I will have plenty of time any day of the week to come and walk/feed/play with your pets! I do not offer boarding services at this time but if I chose to do so I have a friendly girl dog (mimi) and a large fenced back yard for running and playing and would be able to crate your pet if needed.

About: My current pooch, Chester, is a Norfolk terrier. He had intervertebral disc desease when he was 5 and luckily we caught it early enough that he was able to regain feeling in his legs. I've had cats since I was 9, and delivered and care for kittens. I've fostered dogs and cats as well as kittens. 2 kittens had panleukopenia virus and I had to save them from euthanasia by giving them subcutaneous fluids. So I'm comfortable caring for dogs and cats with special medical needs. I'd love to care for your cats or dogs as well! I have a senior dog at home so his daily and weekly care is my routine. I'd love to fit your pets in as well! I first want to make sure that your pets trust me. At first that means allowing them to smell me, taking it slow, giving the right body cues, etc. But it also means consistency and routine. Once they trust me we can have a great time all the time!

About: Hello, my name is Maya and I would be happy to help you with any pet needs you may have. I’ve pet sat in a wide range of settings as well as looked after many different breeds. I enjoy spending time with animals and being out in nature and I consider this arrangement to be less work and more fun. That being said, I understand the responsibility it takes to look after someone else’s pet and take great care in keeping you pets safe and happy. Looking forward to meeting you and your pets! :) I’m a self employed creative and have a very flexible schedule. I do work many side jobs so it is best to let me know a couple days to a week ahead of time. I cannot provide home services at this time unfortunately. My landlord won’t permit pets at my place. I would happily dog or cat sit at your home.

About: I've had a dog since my teens and have dog sat for various friends and family over the years. We've owned along basically the whole size spectrum, from literally chiuahua to great dane. I have a split work from home schedule so I can watch your pups from Wednesday evening to Sunday. Those days I would be able to stay full time and provide whatever level of attention your dog needs We have a ~600 sqft fenced in yard and dog door, but we would lock and supervise outings for potential diggers and hurdlers (fence is 4 ft).

“Mimi’s the best pet sitter on the Westbank! Had my cat Aries feeling like he was on vacation while I was gone! Thanks so much for taking good care of Aries for me!”
