About: Hi! I’m Kaylee, a student at Loyola University New Orleans, and caring for animals has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I’ve had a variety of pets throughout my life, including dogs and cats. I have over 4 years of experience caring for animals and officially began offering pet-sitting services through Rover this summer. As a college student, my availability is based around my class schedule, and I’m available to pet sit whenever I don’t have classes. I’m happy to work with you to find a schedule that gives your pet the attention and care they need while you’re away! I offer drop-in visits, dog walking, and house sitting throughout the New Orleans area. I care for pets of all personalities and make sure their individual routines, feeding instructions, walks, playtime, and other needs are followed closely! As a student at Loyola University New Orleans, I structure my daily routine around pet care visits, walks, and house sitting. My flexible schedule allows me to dedicate specific times throughout the morning, midday, afternoon, and evening for drop-ins and walks. For house sitting, I base myself directly at your home to ensure consistent supervision, evening companionship, and adherence to your pet’s exact routine. When caring for pets in a client's home, my top priority is maintaining their normal environment and daily habits to keep them relaxed and stress-free. I strictly follow all owner instructions, including meal portioning, fresh water refills, walking routes, and medication schedules. I keep living areas clean, secure the home upon entry and exit, and send clear photo and text updates during every visit so you always have full peace of mind.

About: I have volunteered for Zeus's Rescues walking dogs for three years. I previously owned two shetland sheepdogs for several years! There is nothing, absolutely nothing, in this world that is better than spoiling a dog or having extended playtime with a dog or pet. I am always reachable, overly communicative, and reliable in an emergency. My schedule is very open right now and I expect to be working part time soon. I look forward to communicating with you and your pet about your schedule and your needs. I can comfortably handle any breed or any size pet! I am offering dog walking, drop in visits for your pet, and house sitting. I am comfortable with and proficient at: measuring and feeding the proper amount of food, making sure your pets stay hydrated, administering the right amount of medication, taking care of your home while you're away, (I'm a homeowner myself,) playing with your pet, tiring out your pet, reducing your pet's stress, giving love and affection to your pet, and taking your pet to the vet in the event of an emergency.

About: I've had dogs my entire life. My last pup, Pooka, died a few years ago after living around the world with me for 16 happy years. So I'm an empty nester looking to love on your pets until I'm ready to get one of my own again. I've cared for dogs of all sizes and personalities and even some special needs. I work from home in a sizable house on a flat topped mountain. I already take 1-2 walks during my workday to stretch my legs. Other than that, I'm a huge homebody. I’m currently living up on a mesa in the middle of nowhere. Plenty of room to run and chill. The space is not fenced so I can keep pups on leash, if needed.

About: My family rescued our first dog, April from the local dive bar when I was six years old. According to the vet, April was just two weeks. She had been separated from her mother at birth and hadn’t even opened her eyes yet. My parents worried she'd be too much trouble. I begged to keep her and promised I'd take care of her. April became my sister, my best friend, and my greatest teacher. I fed April from a bottle, taught her how to walk up the stairs, and took her to puppy training classes. April taught me the practice of presence, and the value of unconditional love. Our time spent together makes up some of my most cherished childhood memories. At the age of 13, pet-sitting became my first job. I loved it so much, I didn’t even understand how it could be considered a job. I took care of the animals, and the animals took care of me. In my decade+ of pet-sitting, I’ve worked with a range of breeds, ages, and temperaments. Walking 100lb. pitbulls with fear aggression. Administering medication to seniors. Feeding finicky rescued stray cats. I even fostered and re-homed an abandoned puppy that found me on the beaches of Costa Rica. I can confidently claim that I’ve never once had an animal “reject” me as their caretaker, and I think that says a lot. In the last 6 years, I’ve been living and traveling as a digital nomad. My lifestyle doesn’t currently allow for a pet of my own, so pet-sitting is a blessing that allows me the opportunity to care for pets as if they were my own. I work part-time as a meditation & yoga teacher, and part-time remote as an event organizer. This lifestyle allows me to be very flexible in taking on pet-sitting and house-sitting opportunities. I can build most of my work day around your pets schedule (and I'm more than happy to do so!) I offer long-term and short-term visits and overnight stays to take care of your pets in their own home. I've found that, for most pets, being in the security and routine of their own environment is the best way for them to cope with their owners temporary absence. I make sure to upkeep your pet's sense of "normalcy" to the best of my ability by feeding and walking them at regular intervals, being an active participant in play time (when desired), giving them snuggles (when desired), and just keeping them company! I make sure to upkeep YOUR sense of "normalcy" by respecting your space, keeping it as clean and organized as when I arrive (if not even more so), and following any & all house rules. In addition to overnights, I LOVE to take on daily walks and wellness checks when you're at work or just too busy to do it all on your own!

About: I’ve taken care of animals since I was almost old enough to walk. I majored in Biology at Loyola and also work with a local animal rescue! I’ve always had animals in the house, and have three cats. I help bathe, feed, and walk my parent’s dogs almost every day when I go visit them. During the summer, I take them to the dog park and they absolutely love it. I am a local teacher at an elementary school! I am available every single day, mostly afternoons and nights. During the school day is the only time I’m unavailable! I love playing with dogs and making sure they feel well loved. Crate training and potty training are specialties of mine! I love to go on long walks too.

About: I have had horses and dogs for most of my life. I love being around animals and developing a bond with them. I am an Air Force Veteran and small business owner. I am very reliable and trustworthy to take care of the special dog in your life. I have availability in the evenings after my classes at UC Davis Monday, Wednesday and Friday after 3pm and Tuesdays from 7-9am. I can also help on some weekends by appointment! I am a gym owner and I would primarily have your pet there unless I were to watch your pet in your home. I have a fully vaccinated, friendly 2 year old Doberman mix that will keep your pet playful and busy at my gym or I can leave her home and come for a visit to your residence.

About: I have had pets my whole life. Also, I prefer dogs but I have a couple years of experience helping out with my sister’s cats. I currently work remotely. So, I can be wherever you need me on any given day or time. I don’t normally work on weekends. I live with my girlfriend and her Boston Terrier ‘Haley’. She has a fenced in backyard to run around in and gets to chase around the ball a lot.

About: I have over 5 years of experience working at a doggy daycare, caring for dogs of all breeds, sizes, and personalities—including puppies, senior dogs, and anxious pets. I also have experience caring for cats and am the proud owner of a 7-year-old Sphynx, so I understand the unique care and attention cats need. Your pet will be treated like family while they’re with me. Whether it’s playtime, walks, cuddles, or simply keeping their routine consistent, I’ll make sure they feel safe, loved, and well cared for. I’m dependable, attentive, and committed to giving you peace of mind while you’re away.

About: I’ve taken care of 2 Belgian Malinois for 5 years where I’ve had to administer medication, train, switch up diet planning, and do basic grooming. I currently own a betta fish and red eared slider turtle due to renting restrictions. I currently work part time at 2 different jobs, however I can make my own schedule at both. I’m also a full time RN student, but we do have summer breaks. My schedule does fluctuate, however I am usually available consistently early mornings and in the evening time every day. My schedule will reflect when I am available. I’ve worked with multiple high maintenance that require lots of activity throughout the day, so my check ins are more in depth with feeding, potty time, and play time. I also understand boundaries, and rituals, as I’ve spent lots of time with pets of different ages and activity levels.

About: I’ve lived with and taken care of dogs since my early childhood. I currently operate a small dog walking business servicing the new orleans area. I currently plan on Pet walking and sitting on weekends and after 4pm on weekdays. I work full time and get off at 4pm which is right on time for walks, food and enrichment activities. I care for pets by making sure that they are consistently stimulated, whether that be music, petting, walks, conversation, play or mental enrichment. About: When your pets stay with me, they get my full attention. I'm currently freelancing and work mostly from home, besides the occasional meeting, in-person project, or event. I prefer to host one pet family at a time, so that I can give each client and crew my utmost effort, compassion, and care. I want to make sure your family members are thriving and living their best lives while you're away! I've cared for cats, dogs, and even turtles since I was a kid. I'm an avid foster with the Louisiana SPCA and have volunteered with animal welfare organizations across the state since I was a teenager. I've cared for almost every kind of dog: the chill seniors, the anxious rescues, and the gregarious goofballs. I enjoy exploring the colorful neighborhoods of New Orleans with a companion by my side. I also love teaching and learning new tricks, and I'm always down for an impromptu playtime. In my free time, I'm a passionate circus artist, so I'm usually juggling tennis balls when I'm not throwing them for fetch. I'm a lifelong New Orleanian, so I know all the coolest (literally) spots in town. Whether that's a long sniffy and shaded walk in City Park, or a breezy stroll along the lakefront, I make sure all of our adventures are catered to your pet's comfort and schedule. I'm currently freelancing, so I have ample free time to care for pets of all kinds. With enough notice, I can generally be available any day of the week at any time. I'm able to work mostly remotely, and I try to structure my days around hanging with your pets at your house or at mine. When I do have to leave pets alone, I make sure they're cozy with fresh food and water, toys, and plenty of napping space. I ask lots of questions during our meet-and-greets and our communications to ensure we're aligned on your family's needs schedule-wise, and so that I understand your pet's normal daily routine. I try to keep my calendar current, so you can see when I'm available and when I'm not, but reach out anytime! Your pet stays with me whether in your home or at my own. My flexible schedule allows me to hang out and check in often. I have reliable transportation that allows me to fetch the essentials and the luxuries, like treats. My home has a fenced yard, so there's plenty of space for secure outdoor activities. I also have a pool, so when it's hot, there's a place to cool off. If I'm boarding your pet, I'll follow your lead when it comes to swimming. If your dog loves water, we can swim together, and if they're not a swimmer, I'll make sure we stay dry. I'm always happy to share more details about our yard during our conversations or a meet-and-greet. On walks, we use the leashes and gear you provide and that your pet is familiar with. Alternatively, I can also bring my own leashes if you'd like. I follow your instructions around feeding, routine, and medications (I appreciate having your instructions written down). I refer to your preferred vet and pet hospital information. As a local New Orleanian, I'm resourceful and knowledgeable about the multitude of pet resources in town that help your pet stay healthy and happy, from clinics that offer free vaccines to local restaurants that are pup-friendly.

About: I’ve had a pet my whole life! Growing up, we always had a dog (from a rat terrier to a boxer to a black lab)! I also have a cat of my own that I got a few years ago my little baby!! I love all animals and hope I can take care of them while you are away! I am currently in graduate school to be a speech pathologist and am looking for a part time job pet sitting! I love animals so much and would love to help out pet owners in any way I can bc I know how hard it can be to have time to take care of your little fur babies! I have clinic and classes throughout the week at various times but I am available most weekdays after 3-4pm and anytime on weekends! I make sure I have the best things for my pets at home! I live with my parents and our family dog and my cat! We have plenty of toys that we play with them with, I just bought my cat a new stainless steel water bowl bc I found that it’s better for their skin health, treats of course!, and a fenced back yard with plenty of space for our pitbull to get her zoomies out!

About: Hi! My name is emma and i absolutly adore animals. Ever since i was very young ive always had a pet. I feel like our animals can really help us when we are emotional unstable. They have a way of healing us. Letting me watching your fur baby is a great choice. We can go swimming, go on long fun runs, go tobthe park, play fetch, relax and watch a movie, maybe even get a bath if need be.
