I like to follow routine and I think pets do too, including my cat Kurt. I clean his litter box daily and feed him twice a day, changing his water when I do. He’s a little fussy, so throughout the day I shake his remaining food to cover the bottom of the dish - he won’t eat if he can see the bottom. I brush Kurt regularly and make sure he’s getting love every day.

A typical day
I see my walking opportunities as my chance to explore different neighborhoods. I have only lived in New Orleans since June of 2023 so I am still learning the ideal places. So it’s walks and snacks and pets and as much sunshine as we can get.

Please call me Doc! I started caring for my first cat when I was six, my first dog when I was seven. I grew up with all kinds of animals, including chickens, ducks, and geese as well as pigs, reptiles, fish, and a series of dogs and cats. I work in fine dining and this job helps me to keep the kitties in their car nip.

Doc is just simply the best. Being able to truly enjoy a vacation knowing your babies are safe and well cared for is priceless. So thankful for this wonderful human!
Five stars for Doc! This was my first time using Rover, and Doc made it a wonderful experience. Sunpie and Domino (my kitties) give them two paws up! They were dependable, communicated beautifully, and sent photos every day so I always knew my babies were happy and well cared for. Great service and great value — we will definitely be booking Doc again!
Doc was wonderful! Pics were great. Very communicative. I felt at ease knowing she was checking in on my babies.
