“Karlin was amazing. She was able to do a last minute meet and greet with our dogs. Thank you Karlin for taking Tank on nice long walk and verifying their water levels at the house. Hopefully Tank and your dog get to meet one day for play dates. He has so much energy and needed that walk. We will be using you in the future!”

“Chloe is dedicated to walking my pup who loves her. She braves all weather conditions and schedule changes with a good attitude. My dog Sophie gets the zoomies after every walk.”

About: Hi! I’ve had dogs my whole life and have loved working with Rover doing boarding, walking, and sitting. My fiancé and I live in a split-level home with a fenced backyard—plenty of space for playtime and lounging. We don’t have pets right now or kids, so your pup gets all the love and attention! One of us is always home (my fiancé works remotely), and we’re comfortable with dogs of all sizes and personalities. We live in a quiet, walk-friendly neighborhood, and we love staying active with our furry guests. Your dog will be treated like family—with lots of snuggles, playtime, and regular updates for you. Can’t wait to meet your pup! I'm a grad student who's home most of the time, and my fiancé works remotely, so your pet will always have company. I provide daily walks, plenty of attention, and bathroom breaks as often as needed. Caring for animals is a top priority in our routine, and your pet will be treated like family! I believe all living things deserve kindness and respect, and I’ll go above and beyond to make sure every pet in my care feels happy and comfortable. I’m committed to following all food, medication, and routine needs exactly as requested to keep your pet feeling safe and at home—whether they're staying with me or I’m coming to you.
About: I've had pets my entire life. I'm retired now and travel extensively for part of the year, so I'm unable to have pets of my own and thought this would be a great way to keep busy while I am in town. I have a doggy door and a large, gated backyard for games of fetch or hide and seek. I will provide a safe, loving home while you are away or drop-in if you so choose. When I'm in NOLA, I often work part-time from home. I'm retired so you could call me a homebody, and I'm often found working in my garden. In the fourth quarter of the year, I do travel until thanksgiving but will keep my calendar here updated. I am relatively flexible with scheduling. My son recently moved and took his Boston Terrier with him, so there are no longer any pets in my home. I have a large, fenced yard perfect for games of hide-and-seek or fetch, and I'm often in the back as well working on my garden. I do not have any plants that would present a danger. I love to take long, daily walks on the levee, which is only two blocks away...and would love to bring your pet along! I often have family visit, who also love pets.
“This was my first time using Rover, and I couldn’t be happier with the care and attention provided to my puppy, Mickey, by Keyona. Mickey was immediately comfortable with her. Key was punctual, reliable, and genuinely seems to love dogs. She brought over a leash for me to try that stops the problem I have with Mickey pulling during our walks. I truly appreciate that she read his bio and was prepared to help. When she returned for the walk he was even more excited when she arrived with her sweet dog. Mickey loves other dogs and this was a treat for him. I also appreciate the updates and photos after the walk — it gives me peace of mind knowing my dog is safe, happy, and getting good exercise.”

About: Hi, I’ve cared for pets big and small—from Chihuahuas to Great Pyrenees, cats, rabbits (I have two!), fish, and even farm animals. I always take time to understand each pet’s needs so they feel safe, happy, and loved. Reliable, communicative, and flexible—I treat your pets like my own! Pet care is a natural part of my daily routine! I have a flexible schedule and can accommodate morning, midday, or evening visits depending on your pet’s needs. Whether it’s feeding, playtime, medication, or snuggles, I’m happy to build my day around keeping your pet happy and cared for. I treat every home with the same respect and care I’d want for my own. I follow all instructions closely, keep pets safe and secure, and make sure their routine stays consistent to reduce stress. I’m reliable, tidy, and always communicate clearly, so you can feel confident your pet and home are in good hands.
About: I have hands-on experience caring for pets of all ages, from playful puppies to senior dogs who need extra patience and attention. I’m reliable, detail-oriented, and treat every pet like my own—making sure they feel safe, loved, and comfortable. Whether it’s walks, playtime, or following special routines, I go the extra mile so both pets and owners can relax. Pet care is built into my day—I start and end every day checking in on them. Walks, playtime, and feeding are part of my regular routine, not something I ‘fit in.’ I make sure they get consistent attention, exercise, and affection every single day, just like I would with my own pet. In my home, pets get a safe, cozy space with plenty of love, play, and supervision. I follow their normal feeding and exercise schedule to keep them comfortable. In a client’s home, I respect their space, keep things clean, and stick to any routines or instructions they provide—whether that’s walks, playtime, medications, or cuddle time. My goal is to make them feel secure and happy, wherever they are
“Cristina has been wonderful caring for our 8 year old 70lb Nova Scotia Duck Toller Retriever! She is reliable & caring, and sends updates with every walk & home visit. Our dog is not great with other dogs, and can pull on the leash at times, so initially I was worried if she was comfortable with a bigger dog. All worries melted away with her first visit. She even shows my cats some love (not part of the assignment) and takes in my mail. We will definitely hire her again. Highly recommend!”

“Thank you Elaina for taking care of my pup Daizy…she enjoyed her walks with you I’m sure as for two weeks daily I appreciate your service! Elaina kept daily messages on how Daizy was doing and any issues that may have come up. I’d book with Elaina again!”

About: I have never lived with out a dog, they have always been a part of my everyday life since the day I was born and I wouldn't have it any other way! If people were more like dogs, the world would be a better place. I am at my happiest when I am with dogs and I would love to help provide care for your furry best friends! I know I am not the only dog-lover on this site, however, what sets me apart from others is that I have years of experience working as a vet tech shadow and also assisting in puppy training classes. I would love to provide your pups with tummy rubs, walks, and love when you're busy! I promise to look after your dog as if it was my own! I work full time from 10-6PM, but am available in the mornings and as soon as I’m off work! My pup comes with me to work, so I’ll be ready to care for yours outside of my work hours :) My dog has free roam of my house, but I could crate your pup if you’d like or can give him his own room while I’m out! I do not have a fenced in yard, but take my dog for several walks per day and would do the same with yours! At your house, it’s your rules and I will make whatever work.
About: I’ve grown to love the company of animals over people most days lol. I’m a doggy mom to a big Pitt/Hound 8 month old puppy named Cocoa & he’s about 75lbs already! I’m also a mom of 4 so I’m pretty good at multitasking. Im a chef & I also own a small cleaning business & have often times been entrusted with the tasks of pet sitting, feeding, walking & bathing of their fur babies while on jobs or just as help on days outside of cleaning jobs. I have healthy recipes for animal treats & love to watch them gobble them down once permission is granted by mom or dad of course. Animals tend to gravitate towards me & I absolutely adore the good feels I get from their pure energy & love. I would be more than happy to meet your new fur babies & take part in spoiling them a little. Im an entrepreneur so my schedule is pretty flexible outside of my kids… I usually only need a days notice of a needed appointment for smoothie sailing on both sides but I’m definitely open to being on call of sorts if ever needed in an emergency situation. I can make accommodations for pet sitting during the day or over night whenever needed but only in the clients home as my home as small kids present always. I have no issue with crating your fur babies if needed. I’m knowledgeable on how to harness a dog & I know how to restrain them if transportation is ever required. I’ll care for your pets just as I would my own, with love & kindness.

About: From Great Danes to tabby cats and farm friends, I’ve been caring for animals as long as I can remember. Most recently I’ve been my friends and family’s go-to pet sitter and walker. I’m experienced with elderly and disabled dogs, as well as caring for pets with specific dietary and other medical needs (including the extremely anxious). I’m a full time remote worker with total control over my schedule so I’m very flexible. I am pretty active and enjoy at least one walk per day, I can often be seen walking my own pup around my neighborhood or local trails. I am a very attentive pet parent and prefer to break up time spent between socialization and activity, general care (food, cleaning, etc), walks and calming time. I prefer not to spend much time around others homes but mine is pet proof with a large fenced yard, ample cozy space and an easy to reach location

About: Hello, my name is Maya and I would be happy to help you with any pet needs you may have. I’ve pet sat in a wide range of settings as well as looked after many different breeds. I enjoy spending time with animals and being out in nature and I consider this arrangement to be less work and more fun. That being said, I understand the responsibility it takes to look after someone else’s pet and take great care in keeping you pets safe and happy. Looking forward to meeting you and your pets! :) I’m a self employed creative and have a very flexible schedule. I do work many side jobs so it is best to let me know a couple days to a week ahead of time. I cannot provide home services at this time unfortunately. My landlord won’t permit pets at my place. I would happily dog or cat sit at your home.
About: My family rescued our first dog, April from the local dive bar when I was six years old. According to the vet, April was just two weeks. She had been separated from her mother at birth and hadn’t even opened her eyes yet. My parents worried she'd be too much trouble. I begged to keep her and promised I'd take care of her. April became my sister, my best friend, and my greatest teacher. I fed April from a bottle, taught her how to walk up the stairs, and took her to puppy training classes. April taught me the practice of presence, and the value of unconditional love. Our time spent together makes up some of my most cherished childhood memories. At the age of 13, pet-sitting became my first job. I loved it so much, I didn’t even understand how it could be considered a job. I took care of the animals, and the animals took care of me. In my decade+ of pet-sitting, I’ve worked with a range of breeds, ages, and temperaments. Walking 100lb. pitbulls with fear aggression. Administering medication to seniors. Feeding finicky rescued stray cats. I even fostered and re-homed an abandoned puppy that found me on the beaches of Costa Rica. I can confidently claim that I’ve never once had an animal “reject” me as their caretaker, and I think that says a lot. In the last 6 years, I’ve been living and traveling as a digital nomad. My lifestyle doesn’t currently allow for a pet of my own, so pet-sitting is a blessing that allows me the opportunity to care for pets as if they were my own. I work part-time as a meditation & yoga teacher, and part-time remote as an event organizer. This lifestyle allows me to be very flexible in taking on pet-sitting and house-sitting opportunities. I can build most of my work day around your pets schedule (and I'm more than happy to do so!) I offer long-term and short-term visits and overnight stays to take care of your pets in their own home. I've found that, for most pets, being in the security and routine of their own environment is the best way for them to cope with their owners temporary absence. I make sure to upkeep your pet's sense of "normalcy" to the best of my ability by feeding and walking them at regular intervals, being an active participant in play time (when desired), giving them snuggles (when desired), and just keeping them company! I make sure to upkeep YOUR sense of "normalcy" by respecting your space, keeping it as clean and organized as when I arrive (if not even more so), and following any & all house rules. In addition to overnights, I LOVE to take on daily walks and wellness checks when you're at work or just too busy to do it all on your own!
About: I have always had dogs in my life. Currently I am home to 3 medium sized pups. I have owned, rescued, and fostered dogs. I have also volunteered time at the animal shelter walking the dogs, and have participated in several pet adoption days. I own three dogs. I work in outside sales. My office is my home. Except for occasional face to face meetings, I am home most of the day. I am also physically fit and enjoy dog walks around my neighborhood, levee, and park. I am home to three amazing pups. I have a fenced in yard with plenty of room for dogs to run. We also live by the levee which dogs really enjoy walking along. My dogs are my children and are kept indoors. They are allowed on our furniture, which is kept clean with covers and regular cleaning. They have a scheduled feeding time twice a day. I do have two kennels 3 & 4 feet high that can be placed indoors or outdoors, if need be. I also have small kennels for tiny furry friends that stay with us, or for transportation.
