A work from home pet lover
I grew up with a dog in my family and have a dog of my own (miniature dachshund). He always barks a lot when meeting new dogs but eventually stops and is friendly. I do have a rabbit in the house (stays in a pen), so I may not be able to host your dog if they have a super high prey drive. I work from home and am usually available most of the day, particularly week days, to give dogs the attention and love they deserve. If your dog comes for daycare, I have a fenced in yard where dogs can play off leash. I have barricaded any gaps under the house so that tiny dogs cannot escape. I’ve got plenty of toys and variety of treats to spoil your pup! If you book me for dog walking/drop in visits: I am happy to meet before to go over instructions. I will always refill water bowls after the walk is finished and feed them upon request. If your dog is reactive or not friendly with other dogs, I can make sure they are distanced from other people/animals during the walk.

Margarida has walked my dog multiple times now through Rover and always does a great job of keeping me updated with pictures and videos. She’s dependable, communicates well, and has been available even in last minute situations. I know my dog is well cared for when she’s with him. I would recommend her to anyone needing a dog walker!

Margarida took such good care of our dog. It was her first time staying with Margarida and by the end of the stay , we could see how happy Rose was. We got photos and videos everyday. We really enjoyed seeing Rose with Margarida’s dog and bunny! We will definitely book Margarida again.

Schedule
Since I work from home, I can give bathroom breaks as frequently as every hour for dogs that come for daycare. I will host 1 dog at a time for overnight boarding, however there may be up to 1 additional dog for daycare.

Safety, trust & environment
I also have dog ramps to the couches and beds in my home that are useful for small dogs. Your pup is allowed all over the house unless you prefer a crate. I do live on the second floor of a house so please consider this if you have a dog with mobility problems.
Pets
A typical day
I usually let dogs in my backyard so please let me know if you prefer them to have leashed walks as well. I can also take them on outings to dog friendly places instead of leaving them at home.
