About: I’ve cared for many pets and farm animals since I was a child. I have multiple years of experience previously volunteering at the Kansas Humane Society. I currently live downtown and work from home with a flexible schedule. I have the time to share my affection with your fur babies or enjoy a long walk. I’m able to visit your home and spend time with your pet inside or let them outside. I’m also available for walks as short or long as desired. DAYCARE: I’m available to host any qualifying pet, but usually watch after dogs who are used to walking downtown. I live in the French Quarter and do not have any outdoor space at my property. Potty breaks will be leashed walks to the park, one block away.

About: My father raised and trained dogs so I have been caring for dogs since childhood. I have been personally caring for my own dogs as well as dogs of family and friends for the past seven years. I am medically trained for emergencies and can care for special needs and sick dogs. I will treat your pet with the love and kindness as I do my own. I can be available day and night, weekends and holidays even on short notice. I am hoping to make this a full-time position and will be available seven days a week 24 hours a day and can provide same-day service. I will follow all rules of the home in which I am sitting. I will never leave pets unattended. They will have my full attention and safety is my number one priority.

Because I work from home and intentionally keep my boarding capacity small, I'm able to provide plenty of companionship, supervision, exercise, and individual attention throughout the day. To help you feel connected while you're away, I provide regular photo and video updates throughout your dog's stay. Every boarding also concludes with a personalized summary of their meals, walks, potty habits, behavior, and overall experience, so you know exactly how their stay went. I share my home with Tully, my friendly, well-socialized Golden Retriever. Because this is his home too, I prioritize good matches and a calm, comfortable environment for both resident and visiting dogs. Pet care is a natural part of my daily routine. As a university instructor with a flexible schedule, I have the flexibility to provide frequent walks, potty breaks, playtime, and plenty of companionship throughout the day. I care for every dog as an individual, following their normal routine as closely as possible while providing regular photo updates and a personalized boarding summary at the end of each stay. My goal is for every pet to feel safe, comfortable, and right at home. Your dog’s safety, comfort, and well-being are my top priorities. I require proof of current rabies vaccination before boarding to help maintain a safe environment for every pet in my home. My goal is to create a calm, clean, and welcoming environment where your dog feels safe, comfortable, and cared for like family.

About: Growing up, my nuclear family cared for roughly thirty cats, both indoor and outdoor. Naturally, part of my daily routine was feeding them all before getting on the school bus, keeping the litter boxes and surrounding areas tidy throughout the day, and of course providing AMPLE love to all. I have experience nursing abandoned kittens to health and maturity, as well as acclimating feral cats into the home. I am more than keen when it comes to feline behavior! (My mother used to "joke" that her four children should come together and open a vet clinic.) Today, my husband and I have a well-trained, 3 year old shepherd mix named Poet, whom we adopted at just 8 weeks old, and a 5 year old American bobtail kitty named Millie, who we also rescued. We both work from home and our animals are our absolute lives. Normal days for us include walks around the neighborhood, as well as trips to City Bark. We have a fenced in backyard for potty time, as well as sun bathing. Both as our animal have free reign of our home; they watch TV with us, answer email with us, snooze with us, cook with us, etc.! You can trust that your fur baby would be met with the same love, adoration, and care that we provide to our own. Both my husband and myself work from home and are able to provide near-constant care for your fur babies, whether that pertain to potty breaks or play time! We have a modest fenced in yard, as well as one dog and one cat of our own. Both are friendly with all species! We have ample space (spare bedrooms) to set up up a crate/kennel if desired.
