About: I’ve had pets my whole life growing up! I got my first on cat (Katniss) as a freshman in college, and she is now 12 years old and thriving well! I got my first dog (Albus) the next year and he is a 106 pounds black lab who is also doing very well. I am a teacher so I am off from June-July 20 all day, every day. I can show up on short notice and stay for extended periods if needed! My schedule for the next 2 months is extremely flexible, and I’m willing to work with your schedule as well! I have a dog and a cat of my own, so I’m very experienced caring for multiple pets in a home environment. I have a condo in Metairie a block from the levee where I can take a dog on a good walk, and my parents house in mandeville with a fenced yard where pets can safely play and get fresh air. I can easily crate your dog or cat if needed, follow any specific feeding, medication, or routine instructions, and provide plenty of love, attention, and enrichment. Whether the service is at my home or yours, my goal is always to make your pet feel safe, comfortable, and happy while you’re away.

About: I’ve had dogs my entire life and have spent the past 12 years raising and caring for dogs of my own. I currently have two dogs: Wrigley, an 8-year-old Aussie, and Nova, a 6-year-old rescue Aussie/Husky mix who is blind and requires medications multiple times a day. Caring for Nova has given me hands-on experience with special-needs dogs, medication schedules, mobility limitations, and the patience and attention they require. I’m comfortable caring for dogs of different ages, personalities, energy levels, and needs, and I treat every dog like an individual. I’m happy to work around your dog’s normal feeding, walking, medication, and rest schedule, and I can provide consistent care rather than rushing in and out. I take safety and trust seriously and will follow your instructions carefully, including feeding routines, medications, walks, and any house or pet-specific guidelines. My experience caring for Nova, a blind dog who needs medication multiple times a day, has taught me to be attentive to details and proactive about potential safety concerns. I’m comfortable working with dogs who need extra patience, structure, or special accommodations. I’ll treat your home with respect, communicate clearly, and make sure your dog receives the same consistency and care I would want for my own pets.

About: I grew up around dogs and cats and love all furry friends! Love giving pets, scratches, and playing with furry friends. And most importantly… cuddling! I’m currently working on getting my master’s for social work so I only work part time and go to school online. I’m available on weekends and most of the day on Tuesdays and Fridays if I don’t have to drop off/pick up my mom from work. I am very attentive with pets, giving them attention, pets and cuddles. I work with autistic children so my reflexes are quick and I am always paying attention!

About: I grew up on a farm with many pets and dogs. I have cared for dogs that have needed injections, special diets, and that special attention. I do have 2 corgis so for any boarding in my house it is important that your furry best friend likes other dogs and an initial introduction is paramount for a long term stay. I have an enclosed yard and a doggie door. I am more than happy to also care for dog IN YOUR HOME where pups are most comfortable. Love doing walkies and visits. Been caring and loving pets forever. I work for myself and set my own hours as an administrative assistant and a care giver. I have lots of flexibility. I can adjust my schedule as needed. I have a fenced in yard, a doggie door but I am happy to do walking if that is your pets preference. My corgis are great with other dogs in their space.

I had my sweet cat, Henry, for four wonderful years before he passed away, and for the last three years I helped raise and care for an adorable Goldendoodle who now lives with her other pet parent. My dog Toby is my baby, so I definitely understand how to care for people’s pets like my own. Any special instructions or details will be handled carefully! I work part time in an office and part time from home so I have the flexibility to drop in and do walks in the middle of the day. I follow all care instructions to a tee. About: My experience has been mostly my family and friends. I have taken their animals on walks, bathed them, fed them, played with them. Took them to parks and even trained them on new skills. Since I just graduated I have very open availability and ready to help. I am very organized and dependable, I value time management, my career/education, and most importantly taking care of people and animals. I am currently waiting for the new school year to roll around and continue my education so my schedule is free. I wake up early to work out but that time can be flexible depending on if I have a pet to watch. I keep the animals on the schedule they are used to. Feed them, fill water, walks, clean behind them, playtime, medicine if they need. Also litter box maintenance for cats. Also making sure we’re safe in the house and my phone near me to contact the owners if needed.

About: I’ve been taking care of animals for most of my life. I love high energy animals and taking care of them. I grew up with a dog and cat I still have and care for and more recently I have been a volunteer at the Humane Society, I even ended up starting my own club of volunteers in high school. This role has equipped me with all sorts of animal care skills such as cleaning after them, bathing them, feeding them and administering medication, and making sure to provide lots of love and attention. I have a large, gated/enclosed & secure, backyard. The dogs that stay with me are ALWAYS supervised. My eyes will be on your pet constantly, while we play at your home or mine, both inside & outside. Other than dogs, I also have experience caring for: Cats, Birds, Bunnies, Turtles, Lizards, Snakes, Hamsters, Fish, Frogs, Chickens & Plants. Most of my pet guests are small, therefore any extra frisky, playful pet, over 30 pounds may cause physical harm, even if they are just playing. I'd rather not take that chance. I work from home as a bookkeeper & tax consultant. I’m rarely away from the house for more than 2-3 hours. I will always keep my eyes on your pet, even when the pet is roaming around the backyard. My backyard has a 9 ft. high, wooden fence. I also have a double gated entry, front-yard patio. I can also provide crates if needed. My 20 pound dog is 8yrs. old and he is very mellow & well behaved.
