Pet safety is my number one priority. I am diligent to ensure that your pets will not come into harms way be it eating something they’re not supposed to, avoiding other aggressive animals, being crated if needed, being safely secured in their home when I leave, etc. I’ll be sure to provide your pet all the treats, water, and activity they need. I have a dog named Koda, he’s a friendly social butterfly who loves to play. He can join on walks or give your dog some play time if desired!

About: My family got our first dog when I was 9 years old. Since then, I don't think I've ever not had pets in my life. I've had dogs, cats, and bearded dragons. I come from a long line of animal lovers, and I consider my pets to be part of the family - so they live good and happy lives. I've also had family and friends rely on me many times to take care of their pets while they were out of town. I'm a teacher, so come the summer (when everyone goes on vacation), my days are wide open! During the school year, weekends are the best bet for house-sitting, but I've got more flexibility for dog walking etc. First step is building trust. I want your pet(s) to feel comfortable around me, and part of that is gauging how they behave around me. If they want love and attention, I'm more than happy to give it! If they need more time and distance, that's okay too. I'm someone who wants to make sure that you AND your pet are happy, so whatever you need me to do is what I'll do. Lots of play? Can do! Frequent walks or bathroom breaks? Not a problem! Just hang out so they're not alone? Absolutely. And I want you to feel confident that your pets are in good hands, so I'm always happy to send check-in pictures if desired.

About: Since I was a little girl, I have always gravitated towards animals, especially our fur-babies: cats and dogs! Growing up rescuing, fostering, and adopting cats and dogs from various breeds, ages, and personalities, I am well equipped for your pet's needs! When I was in middle school I started my own neighborhood pet boarding, drop-in, and walking business. I volunteer with animal shelters, raised and nursed kittens and puppies, provided end-of-life care for senior dogs, know basic training commands, and have taught dogs how to run with their owners! My favorite things to do with my fur-babies are going on our long-walks, joy jogs, night car-rides, hiking adventures, and snuggles with them! I am working full-time, but my evenings and weekends are free to come visit your fur-babies! I can walk dogs or do drop in's anytime in the evening after 4pm and anytime on the weekend. I am able to board only on the weekends. I have a fenced in backyard and a friendly Australian Shepherd who LOVES to make new best-friends for dogs that are boarded. My pup loves to walk with other dogs and is leash trained if your pup would like a buddy, or they can fly solo! However, I never put them together at first. I let them get to know their surrounding first, then each other to see if it is a good-fit. My cat is also very friendly and loves to make friends as well. In your home during drop in's, my focus is your fur-baby and nothing else! They get all my attention and love and am willing to provide the time they need while you are away!
