About: Hi! I’m 18 and a student at Loyola University New Orleans. I started pet sitting through Rover this summer and have already had the opportunity to care for many different dogs and cats. I’ve grown up around animals my whole life and have experience with pets of all ages, sizes, and personalities. I’m comfortable with feeding, walking, playing, giving lots of attention, and making sure pets feel safe and comfortable while their owners are away. I’m responsible, reliable, and truly love spending time with animals! I take my dogs for walks every day around noon to make sure they get plenty of exercise, fresh air, and attention. I also feed my dogs and cats twice a day (morning & night) and stick to a consistent routine to keep them happy and healthy. I’m home for the summer, so I have a flexible schedule and plenty of time to give your pets the care and attention they deserve. I always make sure pets feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for in their environment. I follow all instructions closely and keep pets on their normal routines, including feeding, walks, and playtime. I maintain a clean and safe space, pay attention to their behavior, and make sure they feel relaxed and loved. I treat every pet like they’re my own.

About: Ive pet sit since I was 14, both paid and unpaid, and I love it! I have experience with difficult dogs/cats (multiple high energy pups in one home) and a moody pet does not scare me off. Currently, 30 hours, of my week (~5hrs a day) is spent at my job at a cafe. Outside of that I can fit your fur baby into my schedule before or after work or on my off days! I never work late and my schedule is very flexible Being able to read the body language of your pup/kitty is a crucial skill that I have a lot of experience in. Being in your home, I know Im in their space

There's no setting for that weight on Rover. (Unless your pet is an elder and/or they're very mellow) <--- My name is Melissa (aka. "Missy"). I'd like to care for your precious pet the next time you need some help. Do you have somewhere to go, or something to do? Let me help you, at your place or mine!?! You can book your pet for a caring, one hour, drop-in visit to your home, a few overnight visits, or an extended stay at my house. Do you need help at the last minute ... ? No problem. I'm happy to provide pet transportation, if needed. I can also help you fulfill the rules & requirements at a "Pet-Friendly" NOLa hotel, when the rules say, “you cannot leave your pet in the hotel room alone”. I work from home as a bookkeeper & tax consultant - This means your precious pet will NEVER be left alone for long hours, whenever they're in my care. I will be at your pet's side, while you take care of business or if you have a fun get-away planned. I have a large, gated/enclosed & secure, backyard. The dogs that stay with me are ALWAYS supervised. My eyes will be on your pet constantly, while we play at your home or mine, both inside & outside. Allow me to love & care for your precious pet, while you take care of you. Let's discuss your needs. I do offer one free meet & greet. Other than dogs, I also have experience caring for: Cats, Birds, Bunnies, Turtles, Lizards, Snakes, Hamsters, Fish, Frogs, Chickens & Plants. Most of my pet guests are small, therefore any extra frisky, playful pet, over 30 pounds may cause physical harm, even if they are just playing. I'd rather not take that chance. I work from home as a bookkeeper & tax consultant. I’m rarely away from the house for more than 2-3 hours. I will always keep my eyes on your pet, even when the pet is roaming around the backyard. My backyard has a 9 ft. high, wooden fence. I also have a double gated entry, front-yard patio. I can also provide crates if needed. My 20 pound dog is 8yrs. old and he is very mellow & well behaved. He always welcomes another dog friend, anytime. We have a trusted routine for introducing new pet guests.

On my off days I can sleep at your pet's home, with the understanding that I do not have work the next day. I have an animal friendly home. Your cat or cats would have its own room. Cat tree, tunnel and toys. Treats if allowed!! I have 5 cats and 1 dog of my own. They are all friendly however, I would not introduce your babies to them. We want a low stress and safe feeling environment. I understand cats behavior and would not want any unnecessary stress to come to them or my babies.

My experience in Pet Care is from having my own pets and caring for family, friends and volunteering over the years. About: I’ve taken care of pets my entire adulthood. Animals are angels on earth and truly part of what makes life so special. I don’t trust just anyone with my own fur baby, so I understand how stressful it can be to find someone to care for them when you need to travel or work extended hours. My entire family has dogs and I occasionally pet sit for relatives or friends who need it, so I figured I could do that more consistently to help others as well. I have a fenced backyard that pups can run around in. I am liberal with giving treats, but will absolutely respect and follow what your dog’s feeding and treat needs are. About: I’ve had a pet my whole life! Growing up, we always had a dog (from a rat terrier to a boxer to a black lab)! I also have a cat of my own that I got a few years ago my little baby!! I love all animals and hope I can take care of them while you are away! I am currently in graduate school to be a speech pathologist and am looking for a part time job pet sitting! I love animals so much and would love to help out pet owners in any way I can bc I know how hard it can be to have time to take care of your little fur babies! I have clinic and classes throughout the week at various times but I am available most weekdays after 3-4pm and anytime on weekends! I make sure I have the best things for my pets at home! I live with my parents and our family dog and my cat! We have plenty of toys that we play with them with, I just bought my cat a new stainless steel water bowl bc I found that it’s better for their skin health, treats of course!, and a fenced back yard with plenty of space for our pitbull to get her zoomies out!
