About: Hi! I’m 18 and a student at Loyola University New Orleans. I started pet sitting through Rover this summer and have already had the opportunity to care for many different dogs and cats. I’ve grown up around animals my whole life and have experience with pets of all ages, sizes, and personalities. We were apprehensive when we first downloaded the app because so much of it is geared to dogs, but they have a great setup for cat owners too. We showed her where the cat toys are and the litter boxes. She visited with each of the cats too. While we were on vacation we received updates on every visit. About: I’ve had a pet my whole life! Growing up, we always had a dog (from a rat terrier to a boxer to a black lab)! I also have a cat of my own that I got a few years ago my little baby!! I love all animals and hope I can take care of them while you are away! I am currently in graduate school to be a speech pathologist and am looking for a part time job pet sitting! I love animals so much and would love to help out pet owners in any way I can bc I know how hard it can be to have time to take care of your little fur babies! I have clinic and classes throughout the week at various times but I am available most weekdays after 3-4pm and anytime on weekends! I make sure I have the best things for my pets at home! I live with my parents and our family dog and my cat! We have plenty of toys that we play with them with, I just bought my cat a new stainless steel water bowl bc I found that it’s better for their skin health, treats of course!, and a fenced back yard with plenty of space for our pitbull to get her zoomies out!

About: Ive pet sit since I was 14, both paid and unpaid, and I love it! I have experience with difficult dogs/cats (multiple high energy pups in one home) and a moody pet does not scare me off. Currently, 30 hours, of my week (~5hrs a day) is spent at my job at a cafe. Outside of that I can fit your fur baby into my schedule before or after work or on my off days! I never work late and my schedule is very flexible Being able to read the body language of your pup/kitty is a crucial skill that I have a lot of experience in.
