About: I have pet sat cats and dogs (as well as various reptiles and birds) of all different ages. I have 4 cats and a snake of my own with one cat that takes daily medication. I have fostered cats and assisted in senior pet care (dogs and cats). I also trained 2 of my cats and when we had dogs, I also trained them. I am very experienced with administering medication and caring for pets of different ages! I am happy to take care of your other pets (reptiles, amphibians, birds, fish, and rodents) in addition to your cats and/or dogs:) Three of my cats are fed twice a day, and my elderly cat gets 4 small meals. I work from home so am able to give my cats plenty of attention. I am fairly flexible with my routine and can easily check in on your pet(s) and walk them 2-3 times a day except on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Those days I have to be physically at my job so I can only check on your pet(s) in the mornings before 11am and afternoons after 4pm. My cats are treated as equal family members and have a wide range of enrichment within our house: cat trees, toys, a screened in porch, and forage puzzles. Our elderly cat is on daily medication and is showered with compliments (she is a queen and she knows it!) . I spend time every day playing with all of my cats and snuggling them as much as they like. I am incredibly gentle with animals and respect their space. I try my best to maintain a clean, stress-free environment at home and in the homes I pet sit for. I know how stressful it can be for a pet to meet someone new, so I always move at their speed and respect their comfort. Your pet's safety and trust are a top priority, and I will treat them with the care I give my own cats.

About: I’ve spent my whole life taking care of my dogs. Throughout college I had many roommates with cats and grew a love for them as well. Growing up I used to make treats for animal shelters and had a dream of being a vet. Since I’ve realized how much of a dedication vet school is, this seems like a fun way to incorporate my love for animals into something part time. :) I love cardio and am always down for a morning, afternoon, and even night runs. I love to go to scenic spots and enjoy being outside. I am in between jobs right now, so I have open availability for any pet needs! I have a fenced in yard and one 14 year old West Highland Terrier. She is extremely spoiled, but loves new friends. We love to play fetch and play in the yard. The extra baths are worth our fun times outside together lol.

I usually watch just one dog at a time, so you can rest assured that I will treat your dog as if they were my own. Happy to send you photos and updates throughout the day as well. I’m flexible with pickup and drop off times. I will be with your pup all day, and they’ll get plenty of attention throughout the day. I’m happy to adapt to your pet’s routine. If they’re a high energy dog, they’ll get long walks. If they’re a senior or low energy, I’ll take them on shorter walks or just let them sniff in the yard.

About: My family has had at least one dog in our house since I was born. Everybody in my family has dogs. I have a few family members that rely on me to help them with their dogs when they need it. Everyone in my family treats their pets like they are humans and I do just the same! I am currently in between jobs so I’m available pretty much whenever. I do have my own dog at home so I prefer to not stay somewhere for a long, extended period of time. I am pretty flexible with that though so just ask me and I’ll let you know if it’s doable! I have a fenced in yard. I have a 14 year old rescue that just mainly stays to herself. There is a 1 year old Shih Tzu/Yorkie mix now living here as well, under the care of someone else that’s not me, however she is very rambunctious with other dogs. I do not mind walking them around the neighborhood. In my family, we treat our dogs like they are humans and they are like our children!

I am comfortable walking dogs, playing with them, letting them out for bathroom breaks, feeding them, cuddling them, and administering any needed medications, just as I do with my own dog. I am also comfortable taking care of cats. I can change their litter boxes, play with them, feed them, and just hanging out more passively with them or that's what they prefer. I have two cats of my own, with very distinct personalities. I'm currently studying law in New Orleans. I am available for boarding on Fridays after 4:30pm and any time on Saturdays and Sundays. Though my pets are generally friendly with other animals, they can get nervous when there's an intrusion on their space. For that reason, I prefer to care for your pets at your own home, but I am willing to take your dog out to the park where I take my own dog for walks every weekend if you'd like. I do not require written instructions for daytime or nighttime care of cats or dogs, but they can be very helpful if there are certain routines and medications that you would like me to keep up with. For safety reasons, I will not bathe cats, but I will bathe dogs. All dogs will remain on a leash at all times when we are going out for walks, and I will bring poop bags along. I have a dog sling/car seat protector in my car for travel, but if you provide another type of car seat that you prefer, I will use that. If you have a cat, I will clean/change their litter box as frequently as you'd like, on the condition that you provide the litter and other supplies that may be needed. I do also require that you provide dog or cat food yourself, as I do not want to be responsible for any adverse reactions to changes in food, such as allergies or diarrhea.
